We had a small wedding (40) in three of the event spaces, and every moment seamlessly flowed from one to the next. It was super magical and all the guests commented on how good the...
food was, how well the decor matched the florals, and how accommodating the staff was. The event coordinator Angela was always quick to respond to my (many) emails and was completely hands-on during our special day. All went according to plan and would not change a thing! If I could get married here again I would! (Will definitely consider the Bocce court for vow renewals in a decade or so.) THANK YOU BLUFF VIEW!
Bluff View Art District is a beautiful venue, and our wedding on April 5, 2025, turned out visually just as we had hoped. However, I feel it's important to share our experience wit...
h the event coordination team, specifically Angela Jarvis, so future couples are fully informed.
From the time we transitioned to working with Angela, communication and professionalism significantly declined. Despite documented plans developed months in advance with other team members, Angela repeatedly forgot major details, attempted to change agreed-upon terms last-minute, and demonstrated hostility toward myself and my vendors — including my professional coordinator and photographer. Her conduct during the event, including ignoring me, mocking comments, and refusing food to vendors (despite my prior instructions), was deeply disappointing and witnessed by guests.
I reached out multiple times to Bluff View’s management to express my concerns both prior to and after our wedding and was met with silence until I independently identified and emailed the president/general manager directly. While she did respond, I found her message dismissive of the broader issues of professionalism, accountability, and leadership.
The venue itself is stunning, and the event staff outside of Angela were wonderful. But I would strongly caution any couple planning an event here to document everything carefully and prepare for challenges in coordination. Our wedding was beautiful, but the lead-up and event-day experience left a lasting and avoidable sense of frustration.
We had a fantastic experience. The staff could not have been nicer. The space was beautiful and the food was amazing.
