Blush + Bloom Weddings

We hired Blush & Bloom for month-of coordination and it was perfect! Chantelle was at all of our final meetings with our vendors and her frequent communication in the months leading up to the wedding was very reassuring! She and Amy went through all of the details with us several times to make sure we didn’t forget anything and, on the day of the event, they took care of everything! We were able to relax and remain stress-free because we knew they had everything under control. They were excellent about communicating with all of our vendors to ensure we stayed on time and everything turned out perfect! We highly recommend booking Blush & Bloom for your wedding!

I would give more stars if I could. I would like to start this review out by providing some context. My (now) husband and I are very introverted and shy. However, I have an enormous family. So, as much as my personality was probably more suited to a smaller gathering, at the end of the day it was too difficult to leave so many people out and it had to be a big wedding. To be honest, I was TERRIFIED of the wedding (remember that whole introvert/shy thing?), and the wedding details themselves I struggled with and grew anxious over (I forgot to mention I’m a pathological over-thinker). But Lisa was magnificent and supportive from beginning to end. I had overwhelmed moments, and she calmed me down and gave such insightful, genuine, down-to-earth advice. Her enthusiasm was contagious and it was hard not to feel excited with her there, and I remembered that this wedding thing was supposed to be fun. She even came to my dress fitting to learn my bustle, last minute, because the family member who was going to come had to cancel. She made me feel so beautiful, and again, her excitement was infectious. I credit the success and smoothness of the wedding to Lisa’s work and influence. The venue’s staff did the best they could, but I think if we had gone to them without a wedding planner it would have been a very different result. Lisa pulled everything together and it definitely felt like she was our advocate throughout the process. I keep getting compliments on the wedding, including how beautiful it was, how smooth everything went, and how much fun it was lol. My godmother and also my new mother-in-law kept repeating "you all did a really great job," in an unprompted way that feels pretty darn genuine. Even my father keeps complimenting it. Lol That’s a big deal, because he confessed afterward he thought I was crazy to have the wedding at the venue I chose: my undergraduate college ballroom. To him, all weddings should be in a Catholic church, followed by the reception in the parish hall. Yet, he hasn’t stopped saying how much fun everyone had and how beautiful it was. I would never have pulled it off without Lisa, and also the vendors she recommended for us, such as the photographer and DJ, and the decor provider. Each one of them was fantastic to work with-our photos turned out WONDERFUL and I rarely like photos with me in them lol The DJ was fun and, again we got so many compliments of how great he was. Lisa brought them to our attention and helped us decide on vendors, and again, her advice was spot-on. Lisa also helped us to problem solve ways to cut costs when we were quoted an amount for the decor that was beyond our budget. She even picked up/delivered the materials HERSELF to avoid us getting charged for delivery. She did much of the decorating and clean-up herself, she went completely above-and-beyond. My bustle also turned out to be overly complicated, but she patiently worked on it herself between the ceremony and the reception. She organized everyone and pulled all the fine details together and I’m so grateful she was there for us. I would definitely recommend her. It was hard for me to not have a mother while planning my wedding, and to have sisters that lived long-distance. But, Lisa had my back throughout and now I have memories, photos, and videos of a wedding that I have the best memories of.

The team with Blush and bloom was fantastic! They handled everything for us so that we didn’t have to and our wedding was absolutely perfect! They are the reason we had a perfect day and we are so grateful!!

Jena & the entire Blush + Bloom team made our wedding an absolute dream come true! At the start of our wedding planning, we knew we did not want to be stressed/running around in the weeks leading up to our wedding and especially not on our big day. When we started researching and meeting w/ companies, Jena & her team were the most organized, up front about services offered, and transparent on pricing (which weirdly enough, seems to be inconsistent in the wedding industry!!). Jena was always available to hop on a call to talk through plans/outstanding items and so integral in ensuring our wedding was the easiest, stress-free and enjoyable day of our lives. Picking Blush + Blooms for the partial planning services was truly the best decision we made when it came to wedding vendors & if I had to do it again, I would pick Blush + Blooms over and over again. We solicited B&B for day-of wedding planning as well as some short-term pre-wedding planning in the months leading up to the big day. We worked closely with Jena and then Chantelle joined in week of. We had such a wonderful experience with both of them. They are professional, on top of everything, and very kind. We had an outdoor wedding reception and had a 15-minute run-in with a dourpour right before cocktail hour started, but Jena and Chantelle managed the audible very well, to the point that Sarah and I and our guests didn't even notice. B&B helps organize the small details that really make a wedding pop / next level. Sarah was looking for a garden-party vibe, and they helped us perfectly execute on it. It was the best day of our lives. Thank you both so much. We are super appreciative and wish you all the best as your business continues to take off. Jena did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the details of my son's wedding and rehearsal dinner, both in the lead up to the events and during the actual events. She has a good relationship with all the vendors and subcontractors which makes selecting venues, linens, china, photographers, AV equipment and DJs, etc. easy and smooth. On the day of, she was there 100% overseeing every detail and making sure the events flowed smoothly. Not being from Dayton, all of her help was especially useful to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Jena & Chantelle were so helpful throughout our wedding planning process and day of coordination. We live in Louisville, KY and were not overly familiar with Franklin, OH which is where our venue was located. Jena gave me lists of officiants, hair and make up vendors and DJ’s that she’s worked with before and trusts. We met several different times to go over the set up of the venue, the timeline and our overall goal for what we wanted the day to look like. Day of they took care of everything from setting up tables, napkins, lighting candles, bringing us dinner and drinks, and then breaking everything down at the end of the night. I could not recommend them more!

Jenna was hands down amazing . I couldn’t have imagine my wedding being as Beautiful as it was without her. I knew what I wanted but I didn’t know how to explain it . But she totally got it and did everything and more. From my flowers to my decor she helper me with every detail . She brought my vision to life and it was breath taking . During my planning process I decided to hire 2 of my vendors myself and they were 2 huge disasters . My hair and makeup team I booked wouldn’t return my calls emails 11 days before more wedding I was panicking and when they did get back with me the owner of the hair company she told me not to contact her on text . So I was so upset I told Jenna, and less than 11 days she found my the best hair and makeup team!! Without hesitation she knew exactly what to do. She has amazing connections . Then my florist was super rude and horrible treated me bad. Wouldn’t tell me what type of flowers I was getting , that a big deal to me . So After the meeting Jenna asked me how I felt, I said horrible I don’t even know the type of flowers I was getting . We left the meeting she immediately got on the phone and called me and said I got it all taken care of and we set up a meeting with the new florist and they did amazing!! Then On my wedding day it poured down rain I was super stressed and upset and she handled it she had a plan and it was perfect. She made me feel as ease she communicated everything that she was doing and the reason for it. The day was perfect . I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. She has amazing connections her team was outstanding and made sure that I had everything I wanted and more . She was a life saver!!

Lisa with blush and bloom was amazing! She came through with vendor recs, and was so easy to communicate with. She was available when I got in my head about planning and then as the wedding got closer she really was this quiet backbone pulling all the details together. My venue dropped the ball on communicating some Very Important changes to their package offerings to us, Lisa had plan B, C and D in the works to ensure we were taken care of no matter what. My grandpa died 6 days before my wedding and she picked up every little thing from my plate she could. It made a Big difference in being able to get through a wedding and a funeral in the same week. Then the day of, she was she was absolutely amazing. She took our vision and amplified it it with her trained eye and experience. She handled all of little things and kept myself and the groom in party mode. She even brought me drinks, cause she is a doll. She went above and beyond multiple times through our our planning process and day. When my Mom got hung up dealing with something she jumped In and went to get out flowers too. Lisa is a freaking rockstar, a gem, a detail slaying queen and she is worth every penny we spent on her services…probably more. (she deserves a raise 😉)

An EASY five stars goes to the Blush and Bloom team, especially the lovely Lisa. They are worth every penny! The moment I signed the contract with B&B the stress was lifted off my shoulders. They helped with every single detail- vendor selections, design/decor, and putting everything together day of. I can't say enough how thankful I was to have Lisa. I'm a "Type A" bride and trusted on the wedding day I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Lisa even put together some last minute table decor when my idea didn't quite pan out. Don't give it a second thought and get this crew on your team ASAP!

She had a lot of wonderful ideas for decor and for personalizing our say. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for Jena, Lisa & their team at Blush + Bloom Weddings! From the beginning, I felt that Jena was not only my planner/wedding advocate, but also my friend. Although she was my primary coordinator, Lisa was also there to help, and the both of them together went above and beyond to help us have the wedding of our dreams! We were a couple that postponed our wedding from 2020 to 2021, we were planning our wedding from out-of-state (while both working full time) and for 230 guests with over 10 vendors. It would’ve been so easy to feel stressed, but instead, Jena was always there to step in, cover any details or hiccups that would arise, and help make the planning process feel fun. From happy hour meetings, early morning text messages, zoom meetings and late night phone calls, I felt like Jena made my wedding her top priority and advocated to make sure we were able to accomplish everything we dreamed about for our big day. On the weekend of our wedding, both Jena & Lisa jumped into help when an issue with our rehearsal arose (which was NOT a part of what we hired them for), they ran a last minute, but very crucial errand on the day of the wedding that popped up unexpectedly, and they stayed late to ensure that everything was taken care of; if that isn’t going above and beyond, I don’t know what is! All of our vendors were in the loop, and we stuck to the timeline while also being able to fully relax and take in the day/not feel rushed at all. All weddings and big events present themselves with some hiccups or unexpected moments, but Jena and Lisa were there to cover ours so that our families, my husband and I could really relax and enjoy the day. We were all able to be present and soak in the whole day/enjoy quality time together and with our guests because of them! Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be and more, and Blush + Blooms played such a large part in that. I would absolutely recommend them to any Cincinnati or Dayton Brides, and I loved working with them in every way!

Jena is truly next-level. We hired Jena after learning we’d be moving out of state six months before our wedding. My mom really pushed for us to hire a coordinator, and we were a little hesitant thinking it may not be a real need for us. Let me tell you, Jena is 100% worth it. She took the time to get to know us, understand our vision for the day, and do absolutely everything in her power to make that vision reality. Our day was even better than we imagined it, and we were able to soak up every minute and enjoy it because of the hard work Jena and her team put into the execution. A last minute snafu with chairs at the venue? Jena handled it. Our officiant showing up minutes before the ceremony? Jena handled it (and I didn’t learn anything about it until breakfast the next day). All day people commented on how relaxed and at ease I was, and all I could say was, “I know Jena will handle anything that comes up”. Thank you, Jena!!

Hire this team for your wedding! Seriously, I and everyone else who had the opportunity to meet and talk with Lisa agreed that having Blush and Bloom at our wedding was easily the best decision we made. All I ever heard is, "things will go wrong at your wedding, so don't sweat it." Well, if things did go wrong or there was something last minute that needed to be changed, I don't even know about them. Lisa was absolutely amazing at communicating with the right people and organizing everything so perfectly, we even ended up way ahead of our schedule (resulting in some extra relaxation time for husband and wife.) My daughter was ghosted by her first wedding planner- a "big time" planner from Cincinnati - after they had to postpone their 2020 wedding due to COVID. She then discovered Jena and Lisa and what a serendipitous "accident" it was. The wedding was Nov 13th and, thanks to Jena and Lisa, it was utterly flawless and perfect. There are no words to express how deeply grateful we are to them for their expertise and constant attention - right up to packing up the decorations at the end of the reception. We hired Jena as our month/day of coordinator with our wedding which took place July 2021 in downtown Cincinnati. We had to delay our original wedding by a year due to COVID and Jena helped us manage through everything since day one! She helped us create a detailed timeline for our bridal party/vendors, met us at our venue with a few our vendors at several different instances prior to our wedding and was just easy to work with & quick to respond to. She provided some great insight and feedback when we were indecisive or just plain clueless on what to do. I was one of those brides on the fence about hiring wedding planners. I can tell you now you WON’T regret it. Blush and Bloom Wedding planning was worth every penny!! They were always timely and organized in their communication with me and my other vendors. They used their expertise to help us build the perfect timeline that flowed seamlessly. They completely transformed our reception venue into a Pinterest-worthy scene. And best of all, they were always there to problem-solve so that our day was stress free. For example, they found a florist replacement after my original vendor canceled the day before. They delivered the flowers to us and they were even more amazing than I had anticipated. We also forgot the wedding rings and didn’t realize it until the ceremony was starting. Lisa eased our minds and told us she would go fetch them and was back in what felt like a blink of an eye. I’m sure there were other problems that arose throughout the day that I don’t even know about because they handled it all! My family, fiancé and I had zero stress on the big day because we trusted Jena and Lisa to get the job done and they delivered above and beyond. What a gift!!

Our number one wedding goal was to be present on our big day. Jena and Lisa did everything and more to ensure we did not get caught in the details, and we reached that goal. I can not speak highly enough of the ladies of Blush + Bloom. They were professional, timely, and delivered on all promised services. Thing is they did SO MUCH more! We lost multiple vendors just weeks before our wedding. Jena assisted in finding area vendors that could meet our needs. We had several other last minute COVID issues that Jena pivoted on without breaking a sweat. The day of the wedding I did NOTHING! Jena and Lisa coordinated our decor deliveries, covered all set up with the florist, directed band arrivals, decorated, moved decor between events, ensured all members of the bridal party were prompt and present, assisted with my dress bustle, worked with venue staff to ensure fluidity of the event, and that our BOE was carried out to its fullest. Not to mention Jena and Lisa did all this in the shadows while still making time to check in on myself and bridal party. I can not express how grateful I am for the ladies of Blush + Bloom for helping make our wedding day run so smoothly. The value for their level of services is an absolute steal as they go so far above and beyond.

Jena and her team did a fabulous job for our Daughter’s Wedding on 11-14-20. She went to the Wedding Rehearsal the night before and kept everyone organized and worked with our Priest to have the rehearsal run smoothly. She and her team decorated the venue The Estate at Sunset Farms. (The Venue was beautiful.) She worked closely with all the vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. She catered to our Daughter and her Husband and both set of Parents. She made sure all of our guests were all taken care of and comfortable. She worked tirelessly for us that evening. She’s a great lady and I consider her a part of our family now. We had a wonderful day and evening. If you want a person/team who will give you 110% at all times Jena and her team are those people. Hi highly recommend Blush and Bloom! Jena is so amazing, and I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day which was amazing! I was able to just enjoy my wedding day. She made everything go very smoothly. She also helped me with making some decisions on décor which was super nice. She had some décor that she just let me use for the wedding. She also helped us find rentals for a good price too. She took care of everything. Jena made everything less stressful leading up to the wedding and the day of and she is also just a really nice person to work with. I think they were my favorite vendor I had for my wedding. I don't know how we would have done my wedding without her and Kayla. I don't think I would have enjoyed my wedding as much without them and I don't think we would have been able to get everything cleaned up at the end without them. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

Jena is an absolute god send! She is incredible at keeping you calm and making your day exactly what you have always dreamt of. We met multiple times to review the day of decor & expectation and she was always available to help pull ideas together. For the day of I had not a worry in the world that this chick was going to ensure everything was perfect. She literally ran out day of to get more ice & candles for our bar and decor! & I didn’t even know it until she told me. She was everywhere and nowhere. Meaning she did everything but wasn’t even seen! This girl gets all the credit for pulling off the wedding of our dreams! Thank you so much love! 💕

I don’t know how to appropriately describe how incredible it was to have Lisa as our wedding coordinator. I would not have made it through the day (or the details leading up to it) without her. She helped us figure out how to actually put all the pieces together, was on top of the entire timeline including when vendors showed up, kept everything moving and constantly asked how we were doing and what we needed. Hands down the best choice we made while planning the wedding. From the day I contacted Blush & Bloom I found Jena and Lisa to be professional, insanely organized, creative, and so supportive. I am tearing up thinking about how incredible our wedding was because of the work Lisa did. The only thing I would change is hiring B&B earlier. Worth every single penny!

Lisa with Blush +Bloom was outstanding!!! She was so easy to work with and thought of every detail! She followed up with all the vendors and was our ‘go-to person’ the week of and day of the wedding. Lisa was there from start to finish! I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate all she did. Even when the florist disappointed us, Lisa was there for the save and recovery. Lisa made our day beautiful!!!!!

I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Lisa! She was so helpful throughout the process including making the timeline, calling vendors, setting up decorations and most importantly coordinating our wedding day amazingly. I was able to have the most amazing day with Lisa handling all the details! I received so many comments from the bridal party and guests on how amazing and helpful Lisa was throughout the day on any questions people had, and on how smoothly the wedding went compared to other weddings they have been part of. REMEMBER THIS NAME!...JENA! SAY IT AGAIN! JENA! I cannot say enough About Jena! She is absolutely fantastic! I am so glad we decided to work with her. At first I was a bit hesitant about hiring a planner, trying to stay on a budget! You will not be disappointed. Jena is worth every penny and more! She had a great relationship with our venue (The Estate at Sunset Farm) and made every part of planning at that location amazing. I had a hard time with my wedding colors at one point because I was pretty lenient on the bridesmaids and she helped pull everything together with the table linen colors to make everything blend beautifully! My mom was very excited for this wedding and had a vision that Jena helped her bring to life through all of the decorations my mom brought in! Jena has a good eye and great instinct on décor! She was always extremely quick to respond when I had a question and willing to have meetings on zoom calls or in person, even though planning over COVID. She is such a good person too! She made every meeting feel like we were meeting with a close friend. She is very organized and walks you through everything you need to before your big day. She helped us build a timeline that was shared with all vendors and party’s involved to keep everyone in the loop and as close to the timing you want as possible. She works very closely with the venue and your vendors to make your day magical! Jena is my wedding hero!

I just want to say...Jena is amazing! She knows her stuff and saved me from myself. I was so overwhelmed with the final details of our daughter's wedding, especially after having to reschedule it from the original May date. After reviewing Jena's website I saw that she offered a month of planning package and decided to call her. After speaking to Jena, I knew I was going to hire her. She is so sweet and genuine, yet very professional! We had several meetings at our venue and offsite. JENA, JENA, JENA! Hiring Jena was the single best decision I made during wedding planning. This girl is a literal angel on Earth and a saving grace. Even though I was a very organized, probably too organized, bride she still saved my life so many times even if she doesn’t know it. She kept me so calm during covid wedding planning, all the way up until the minute we walked out of the venue at the end of our wedding day. Jena would give her couples the shirt off her back if they needed it. From tying flowers to our arbor to helping me take the headpiece out of my hair at the end of the day, she was the best planner I could have ever asked for. By the end of everything she felt more like a close friend celebrating with us. We love her so much!
