mous family. So, as much as my personality was probably more suited to a smaller gathering, at the end of the day it was too difficult to leave so many people out and it had to be a big wedding. To be honest, I was TERRIFIED of the wedding (remember that whole introvert/shy thing?), and the wedding details themselves I struggled with and grew anxious over (I forgot to mention I’m a pathological over-thinker). But Lisa was magnificent and supportive from beginning to end. I had overwhelmed moments, and she calmed me down and gave such insightful, genuine, down-to-earth advice. Her enthusiasm was contagious and it was hard not to feel excited with her there, and I remembered that this wedding thing was supposed to be fun. She even came to my dress fitting to learn my bustle, last minute, because the family member who was going to come had to cancel. She made me feel so beautiful, and again, her excitement was infectious. I credit the success and smoothness of the wedding to Lisa’s work and influence. The venue’s staff did the best they could, but I think if we had gone to them without a wedding planner it would have been a very different result. Lisa pulled everything together and it definitely felt like she was our advocate throughout the process. I keep getting compliments on the wedding, including how beautiful it was, how smooth everything went, and how much fun it was lol. My godmother and also my new mother-in-law kept repeating "you all did a really great job," in an unprompted way that feels pretty darn genuine. Even my father keeps complimenting it. Lol That’s a big deal, because he confessed afterward he thought I was crazy to have the wedding at the venue I chose: my undergraduate college ballroom. To him, all weddings should be in a Catholic church, followed by the reception in the parish hall. Yet, he hasn’t stopped saying how much fun everyone had and how beautiful it was. I would never have pulled it off without Lisa, and also the vendors she recommended for us, such as the photographer and DJ, and the decor provider. Each one of them was fantastic to work with-our photos turned out WONDERFUL and I rarely like photos with me in them lol The DJ was fun and, again we got so many compliments of how great he was. Lisa brought them to our attention and helped us decide on vendors, and again, her advice was spot-on. Lisa also helped us to problem solve ways to cut costs when we were quoted an amount for the decor that was beyond our budget. She even picked up/delivered the materials HERSELF to avoid us getting charged for delivery. She did much of the decorating and clean-up herself, she went completely above-and-beyond. My bustle also turned out to be overly complicated, but she patiently worked on it herself between the ceremony and the reception. She organized everyone and pulled all the fine details together and I’m so grateful she was there for us. I would definitely recommend her. It was hard for me to not have a mother while planning my wedding, and to have sisters that lived long-distance. But, Lisa had my back throughout and now I have memories, photos, and videos of a wedding that I have the best memories of.

When we started researching and meeting w/ companies, Jena & her team were the most organized, up front about services offered, and transparent on pricing (which weirdly enough, seems to be inconsistent in the wedding industry!!). We had an outdoor wedding reception and had a 15-minute run-in with a dourpour right before cocktail hour started, but Jena and Chantelle managed the audible very well, to the point that Sarah and I and our guests didn't even notice. B&B helps organize the small details that really make a wedding pop / next level. Sarah was looking for a garden-party vibe, and they helped us perfectly execute on it. where our venue was located. Jena gave me lists of officiants, hair and make up vendors and DJ’s that she’s worked with before and trusts. We met several different times to go over the set up of the venue, the timeline and our overall goal for what we wanted the day to look like. Day of they took care of everything from setting up tables, napkins, lighting candles, bringing us dinner and drinks, and then breaking everything down at the end of the night. I could not recommend them more!

During my planning process I decided to hire 2 of my vendors myself and they were 2 huge disasters . My hair and makeup team I booked wouldn’t return my calls emails 11 days before more wedding I was panicking and when they did get back with me the owner of the hair company she told me not to contact her on text . So I was so upset I told Jenna, and less than 11 days she found my the best hair and makeup team!! Without hesitation she knew exactly what to do. She has amazing connections . Then my florist was super rude and horrible treated me bad. Wouldn’t tell me what type of flowers I was getting , that a big deal to me . So After the meeting Jenna asked me how I felt, I said horrible I don’t even know the type of flowers I was getting . We left the meeting she immediately got on the phone and called me and said I got it all taken care of and we set up a meeting with the new florist and they did amazing!! Then On my wedding day it poured down rain I was super stressed and upset and she handled it she had a plan and it was perfect. She made me feel as ease she communicated everything that she was doing and the reason for it. The day was perfect . I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. She has amazing connections her team was outstanding and made sure that I had everything I wanted and more . She was a life saver!!

My venue dropped the ball on communicating some Very Important changes to their package offerings to us, Lisa had plan B, C and D in the works to ensure we were taken care of no matter what. My grandpa died 6 days before my wedding and she picked up every little thing from my plate she could. It made a Big difference in being able to get through a wedding and a funeral in the same week. Then the day of, she was she was absolutely amazing. She took our vision and amplified it it with her trained eye and experience. She handled all of little things and kept myself and the groom in party mode. She even brought me drinks, cause she is a doll. She went above and beyond multiple times through our our planning process and day. When my Mom got hung up dealing with something she jumped In and went to get out flowers too. Lisa is a freaking rockstar, a gem, a detail slaying queen and she is worth every penny we spent on her services…probably more. (she deserves a raise 😉)

We were a couple that postponed our wedding from 2020 to 2021, we were planning our wedding from out-of-state (while both working full time) and for 230 guests with over 10 vendors. It would’ve been so easy to feel stressed, but instead, Jena was always there to step in, cover any details or hiccups that would arise, and help make the planning process feel fun. From happy hour meetings, early morning text messages, zoom meetings and late night phone calls, I felt like Jena made my wedding her top priority and advocated to make sure we were able to accomplish everything we dreamed about for our big day. On the weekend of our wedding, both Jena & Lisa jumped into help when an issue with our rehearsal arose (which was NOT a part of what we hired them for), they ran a last minute, but very crucial errand on the day of the wedding that popped up unexpectedly, and they stayed late to ensure that everything was taken care of; if that isn’t going above and beyond, I don’t know what is! All of our vendors were in the loop, and we stuck to the timeline while also being able to fully relax and take in the day/not feel rushed at all. All weddings and big events present themselves with some hiccups or unexpected moments, but Jena and Lisa were there to cover ours so that our families, my husband and I could really relax and enjoy the day. We were all able to be present and soak in the whole day/enjoy quality time together and with our guests because of them! Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be and more, and Blush + Blooms played such a large part in that. I would absolutely recommend them to any Cincinnati or Dayton Brides, and I loved working with them in every way!

She took the time to get to know us, understand our vision for the day, and do absolutely everything in her power to make that vision reality. A last minute snafu with chairs at the venue? Jena handled it. Our officiant showing up minutes before the ceremony? Well, if things did go wrong or there was something last minute that needed to be changed, I don't even know about them. Lisa was absolutely amazing at communicating with the right people and organizing everything so perfectly, we even ended up way ahead of our schedule (resulting in some extra relaxation time for husband and wife.) I was told many times I was a calm bride, and I can absolutely thank Lisa for that. Truly, she was so fun, a fresh breath of air, I felt we left with a new friend that day. We lost multiple vendors just weeks before our wedding. Jena assisted in finding area vendors that could meet our needs. We had several other last minute COVID issues that Jena pivoted on without breaking a sweat. The day of the wedding I did NOTHING! Jena and Lisa coordinated our decor deliveries, covered all set up with the florist, directed band arrivals, decorated, moved decor between events, ensured all members of the bridal party were prompt and present, assisted with my dress bustle, worked with venue staff to ensure fluidity of the event, and that our BOE was carried out to its fullest. Not to mention Jena and Lisa did all this in the shadows while still making time to check in on myself and bridal party. I can not express how grateful I am for the ladies of Blush + Bloom for helping make our wedding day run so smoothly.
