o work with. She did 7 hair & her partner did 2 of our makeups! Every single one of us were super happy with how our looks turned out. A lot of hair/makeup vendors will force you to do a trial run (a lot of extra $$) & I took the chance on skipping that as Sharlene does not require this. So happy I did! My hair and makeup turned out exactly how I was envisioning - all I did was show Sharlene some inspo pics and she did a phenomenal job! You won't regret hiring her and her team for your big day.

rail, I showed Shar a photo from a previous wedding where I was a bridesmaid but the end product was nothing like photo. I took engagements that day and the makeup started wearing off after only an hour despite that finishing spray that Shar applied. I realized when I got my engagement photos that the makeup darkened my eyes and did not complement me at all. I asked her to please do something with lighter colors and to apply makeup that would be able to last a couple of hours for my wedding day. She was very receptive to feedback and was glad to do so for my wedding. Looking back at it now I guess I should have gone with a another artist if I didn't like my trail makeup.
On the wedding day she was on time to my house and brought someone to help. My makeup did have lighter colors and did complement me better. The drive from my house to church was 30 mins and when I arrived to the church I had to re-touch my hair and makeup. I continued to re-touch my hair and makeup basically every 2 hours. I've had my makeup done professionally about 3 times in life and have never had to re-touch so often. Overall, I think Shar does an okay job. I just expected better quality makeup for my wedding day and the price I paid.
