We hired Blush and Rose Artistry for my wedding day hair and makeup! Sharlene was awesome from the time of booking all the way to my wedding day. Super responsive, kind, and easy t...
o work with. She did 7 hair & her partner did 2 of our makeups! Every single one of us were super happy with how our looks turned out. A lot of hair/makeup vendors will force you to do a trial run (a lot of extra $$) & I took the chance on skipping that as Sharlene does not require this. So happy I did! My hair and makeup turned out exactly how I was envisioning - all I did was show Sharlene some inspo pics and she did a phenomenal job! You won't regret hiring her and her team for your big day.
She did amazing! I was so happy we did the trial because I coukd find out exactly what I wanted, when we did the actual big day she made the exact changes I wanted. I am so happy ...
we went with her, thank you Blush &Rose!!!!!!
Sharlene was so sweet! I loved my makeup she did for my wedding. She arrived early for my wedding day appointment and I would recommend her to anyone in need of wedding makeup!
I went in for a test session, which sold me immediately. Shar is amazing with hair. I loved my look on the day! And she squeezed in doing 2 bridesmaids hair styles on the day, as w...
ell, which I am so grateful for. I know how obnoxious it must have been to get that last minute request, and she was so accommodating and sweet. We all looked fabulous!
We got so many compliments on our bridal party hair and makeup from the day! The ladies who did ours (Shar did mine as the bride) were so sweet and did a great job!
Shar was lovely! I was planning my wedding from afar and she was not only responsive and professional over email, but also very attentive during my trial. The day of, Shar and her ...

Thanks shar and team!
Shar did an amazing job on my daughter's hair, the bridesmaid's hair and my own. She did exactly what we were hoping for, a soft natural look. I highly recommend her!
Fabulous hair and makeup by Shar Mitchell!

tlessly and not awkward at all. She showed up to the venue early and was completely done in 45 minutes. She truly was amazing and way worth the money!! Would rate higher if I could.
I was super nervous about getting my hair and makeup done because I am super picky. My hair was great, it was what I asked for, but it did not last the whole day (but that's expect...
ed, it is a long day). She was very hygienic with the makeup products. My face makeup was good, same with my eyeshadow and my fake lashes. Although the lip color was nice, I did not like the product. The winged eyeliner was also crooked.
Shar is very sweet and listens to your requests. I loved my hair but struggled with my makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup and hoped Shar would guide me with suggestions. For my t...
rail, I showed Shar a photo from a previous wedding where I was a bridesmaid but the end product was nothing like photo. I took engagements that day and the makeup started wearing off after only an hour despite that finishing spray that Shar applied. I realized when I got my engagement photos that the makeup darkened my eyes and did not complement me at all. I asked her to please do something with lighter colors and to apply makeup that would be able to last a couple of hours for my wedding day. She was very receptive to feedback and was glad to do so for my wedding. Looking back at it now I guess I should have gone with a another artist if I didn't like my trail makeup.
On the wedding day she was on time to my house and brought someone to help. My makeup did have lighter colors and did complement me better. The drive from my house to church was 30 mins and when I arrived to the church I had to re-touch my hair and makeup. I continued to re-touch my hair and makeup basically every 2 hours. I've had my makeup done professionally about 3 times in life and have never had to re-touch so often. Overall, I think Shar does an okay job. I just expected better quality makeup for my wedding day and the price I paid.
Shar fit me in on a day that she doesn't normally work to do my trial for my bridals, and on wedding day she was on time, had the best attitude, and even fit in an unexpected extra...
