Blush and Bashful

Nicole did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup for my recent wedding. She was so patient in trying several different hairstyles until we found the right one, which was so lovely. Also, after our initial consultation (which was extremely helpful) I decided to go a different route with my makeup and rather than trying to convince me to stick with the original plan, she listened to my thoughts and ended up doing a perfect job with my makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, and rather than looking overly made-up, she gave me wonderfully natural, simple makeup that looks amazing in photos. It was also very convenient to have her come to my house and do my makeup there. I would absolutely recommend her.

Nicole was awesome, she was exactly on time and made us beautiful in no time (there were only 3 of us) so we had plenty of time to relax before the big moment. She pretty much knew exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup without me really having to even explain and delivered 100%. I felt beautiful the entire night, even in the heat and humidity of June in New Olreans. I would highly recommend Nicole and Blush and Bashful, perfection!!

Nicole was great! She arrived early the day of (I was late) yet she and her team still managed to get 9 heads of long hair and makeup done with time to spare!!! Amazing!! She did my hair just as I asked and even managed to combine 2 things together to make my hair perfect! She also was very accommodating on my "natural look" makeup. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommended!!!

Nicole and her team did a fantastic job with hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. The bride looked absolutely stunning, but each girl (and the MOB and MOG) looked uniquely and truly beautiful. Best of all we still looked good at the end of the evening even after dancing and celebrating in the late May humidity! Having never worn either airbrush makeup or eyelash extensions, I was a little nervous about feeling overly made-up, but it looked and felt completely natural. I highly recommend Blush and Bashful.

Nicole and her team of h&m artists are absolutely amazing!! Immediately after scheduling a trial with Nicole, I without a doubt selected Blush and Bashful and felt extremely confident that she understood the look and vision we had for our wedding/bridal party. Nicole used the airbrush makeup on everyone, and let me tell you...it looked natural, beautiful, clean, and it still looked flawless after hours of dancing/second line in May New Orleans heat! Nicole is extremely professional, and her confident/calm personality is exactly what every high stressed bride needs in her life on their big day! The h&m also translated beautifully in our wedding photos. I just can't say enough great things about Blush and Bashful!!

Blush and Bashful salon did our hair and makeup for my August wedding in New Orleans. I did the trial run for both hair and makeup, which is a must. We got to play around with the two different ideas that I had, to decide which one was best. Erin and Erica came to our hotel the day of the wedding, prepared and professional, with all their tools in tow. We had booked for 5 ladies, but of course my mother decided at the last minute she wanted to get her hair and makeup done as well. They were willing to take on one more person, so kind and accommodating. All the ladies looked amazing. The makeup was natural, and simple undos for all, exactly as we wished.

I reached out to Nicole just a few weekend before my wedding once I found out my friend, who was supposed to do my hair was not able to attend. Finding a hair and makeup specialist for your big day is not easy to do when planning a destination wedding in NOLA from California. Nicole was quick to respond and I was lucky she was available on my date for four hair styles, and five makeup applications. Nicole and her partner were great! My hair and makeup was perfect and exactly what I wanted, even with out a trial run. I highly recommend Blush & Bashful.

Nicole and her partner were great for my daughter's wedding. They came to the hotel where we were getting ready and did hair and makeup for the bride, maid of honor, Several bridesmaids, MOG, grandmother of the bride, and myself. Beautiful! I tried Blush&Bashful first because of their name (who can resist Steel Magnolias!), and I am so glad I did! Nicole and her team were wonderful! They were so professional and calm, which I imagine is quite the task in a room full of excited bridesmaids! It was so nice to have them come to us, and that morning of pampering with all my girls around was one of my favorite moments of the wedding weekend. They also managed to get us all done in record time, even with indecisive gals and some last-minute additions!And of course, the hair and make-up were beautiful - I want fake lashes and airbrush make-up by Nicole everyday!

Nicole and her team did a tremendous job on me, my two sisters, my mother and my two flower girls. They were efficient, fun and incredibly talented! I loved the way the hair and make-up turned out for me, my mom and two sisters and the hair for my two nieces was precious. I am very picky about this kind of thing and Nicole nailed it. Thank you!!

Nicole Klein did my hair and makeup, as well as my mother's. Let me just say, she is fantastic. I had my wedding on the Creole Queen in New Orleans...in July, after three days of rain. So with heat and humidity I was petrified the makeup would sweat off and the hair would curl and frizz. God bless her, because not a smudge on the makeup and hair was fantastic throughout the night. Both my mother and I did the airbrush makeup. I met with Nicole before the wedding for the trial run in case I had a reaction to the makeup (I have sensitive skin) and to try out different hairstyles. She was fabulous. If you don't like, tell her and she will fix it. She was wonderful to work with and so sweet. Prices were great too.

I planned my New Orleans wedding from Colorado, and I didn't have any one to recommend a place for hair and make-up, but I sure did luck out. I could not have dreamed that my hair and makeup could look that good. Nicole did my hair and makeup for my wedding in May and I am pretty sure that there is no way it could have been any more perfect! I did a trial run for my hair a few days before the wedding, it looked nice, but I hadn't described to her well enough what I was wanting, so the day of my wedding I showed her new pictures and tried to better explain how I wanted my hair. My hair and makeup turned out absolutely stunning- I can't even explain how perfect it was. Spring in New Orleans can mean a lot of unwanted curl and frizz in your hair, and it rained on my wedding day which for a girl with curly hair can be a nightmare, but my hair stayed perfect the whole evening. Nicole and Holly did hair and makeup for the moms and my bridal party as well. Everyone looked amazing and they all looked like themselves too. It wasn't like Nicole and Holly could only do one style of 'up-do' all the girls personalities showed through with their hairstyles, which was exactly what I wanted. They were professional, showed up on time (even though I was a little late) they had everything they needed and they were happy to make changes if the girls wanted a little tweak. I would absolutely recommend them to any one I can- especially out of town brides, you cannot go wrong booking Blush and Bashful for your wedding!!

Nicole and Holly made my wedding day so wonderful! They took the time to understand what I wanted and came to my house with anything and everything necessary to make that happen. My hair and makeup were absolutely beautiful! My mom and sister also loved theirs! They were so professional and knowledgable that there was no room for stress or anxiety. Blush & Bashful did a great job with my hair & makeup. I had a trial run for my bridal photos. I brought a picture of the hairstyle I wanted, and Nicole was able to mimic it exactly. For my wedding day, I chose to go with the airbrush makeup. The makeup stayed on throughout the entire day. I didn't have one smudge! I would definitely recommend Blush & Bashful!

Nicole was really easy to work with and did a great job making my makeup/hair vision for my wedding day a reality. At my trial run, she was very patient and took the time to get to know me. When I decided to change my make-up look after the trial, I was nervous about how it would look on the wedding day. But she executed the look flawlessly and I was very happy! She and her staff arrived on time, kept us on schedule, and tended to any last-minute issues or changes. My bridesmaids had different hair and skin textures and types, but she was able to make each one look very beautiful and elegant and did not overpower them with makeup. Every one of us is a woman of color - from Asian to Black to Latina - and we all felt that she did a great job with our different skin tones and hair types. I highly recommend Nicole and her staff and thank her for doing such a great job!

Holly and Nicole worked for hours on our hair and make-up, and the end results were fabulous. I could not have been happier with their work. I would recommend getting air brush make-up as it does not rub off, but it's easily removed with soap and water. Also, Holly and Nicole were very easy going and helped make suggestions or changes if necessary. For example, toward the end of the appointment, my mom decided that she wanted to change her hair, and it wasn't a problem at all. They took care of it right away. Don't hesitate! Book them!

Hired Blush and Bashful for my wedding last summer in New Orleans for myself, bridesmaids, and 2 moms. Their makeup was flawless, and hair styling was to die for. I wish I could look like that every day. I would definitely hire them again, and have recommended them to several friends. Beautiful work and a pleasure to work with. Hire them!!

Blush and Bashful is a small privately owned company that was recommended to me by a friend. The hair and makeup artists are extremely talented and very patient....I'm not much of a bridezilla but one of my bridesmaid's asked them to redo her hair five different times - and they did, no problem! My hair was amazing - I got so many compliments on it. They had about 10 different girls to style and make up, and each one looked perfect!
