I’m extremely happy that I went blush by m. marie for my bridal makeup! I would first like to start off by saying that the owner, Melissa, was nothing short of Thank amazing. Whenever something came up (which those who have wedding planned before know what i’m talking about!!!) I would pick up the phone, contact someone from the team… And within minutes, the owner herself would call me. And she would stay on the phone with me and address all of my concerns or questions, and do whatever she could to accommodate me and my schedule. when an owner takes the time to do this… I think it says a lot about the company overall. And I was extremely impressed with Melissa and honestly was just so grateful for her and her communication. It wasn’t only Melissa that had great communication skills, it was everyone that I worked with. From the booking coordinator, Ashley… To, the person who actually did my make up, which was Raquel… I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with to do my hair and make up. Raquel was incredible in every way. It is by far the best make up that I have ever had done in my life. And I have gone to multiple different make up artists for professionally done make up, and Raquel‘s work was absolutely incredible and the best I’ve ever had done. It stayed on for the entire duration of my wedding. she was really easy to communicate with, and the inspiration photo that I showed her was 100% what was achieved on my wedding day. Bianca was AMAZING! She catered to everyone's comfortability with makeup and everyone was so happy with how beautiful they looked! As someone with a medium skin tone, I'm always so scared to look orange. She made sure to cater everything to my perfect shade and I got so many compliments on my stunning makeup. Blush by M.Marie was so easy to work with too and Ashley was incredibly responsive over email and very helpful. Everything was reasonably priced and I didn't have a worry about my makeup at all!

Overall I had a great experience with Blush by M Marie! I found them on The Knot and booked because of the good reviews and the convenience in that they offered both hair and makeup services as a package. I was assigned to lead artist Bianca and she was very sweet and easy going when I met her at the trail. I ended up wanting to make a lot of changes after the trial and Bianca was very accommodating. She was able to execute my vision on the wedding day without a second trail which is great because I live out of the area. My wedding day hair and makeup turned out great, and my bridal party, mom, and MIL we also happy with their services! Thank you Bianca+ team!

I used Blush by M Marie for my wedding day. They traveled to our hotel in San Diego. They arrived on time and turned our hotel room into a full salon! My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and both stayed put all night long while they danced and ate. As for myself, Bianca was my VIP artist and I have never felt more beautiful than after she did my hair and makeup. I told her I wanted a glam look and she gave me exactly that and was always willing to make the small adjustments I requested. She was kind and funny and made the process so easy. I would absolutely recommend booking Bianca and the whole team for your wedding day!

From the start of booking, Ashley was beyond helpful, quick to respond, and even helped make suggestions to lower my cost, something I would not have thought of. We had a great experience with the Blush team for our August 2023 wedding! The entire team was great to work with and helped to make our wedding party look their very best. Erin was my lead artist and she was able to incorporate all of my requests in on the day of the wedding and made my vision come to life. I felt absolutely stunning all day and night! We had a very large wedding party, including mothers and grandmothers getting services, and the Blush team catered to everyone's needs and even kept us ahead of schedule. Not an easy task! From the very start they were so easy to communicate with, answered every single one of my questions and accommodated all my needs and changes quickly! Erin was my lead stylist the day of my wedding and she was an absolute dream to work with! One of the best experiences I could have had to make my wedding day be perfect! What initially caused me to choose them as my wedding day vendor, was reviewing the website and my communication with the office manager Ashley. Ashley was INCREDIBLE with her responsiveness, the information communicated and overall professionalism! My hair and makeup artist was Bianca! Bianca was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly kind and comforting throughout the entire process. As we did the trial run, she got to know me and my style a bit, as I am not very big into makeup and went with more of a natural look. On my wedding day, Alyssa helped assist Bianca in making sure everyone looked amazing! Both artists did an AMAZING job getting all the girls ready, everyone loved their looks and had nothing but great things to say. Biance did above and beyond on my hair and makeup, that lasted through the entire night through all the tears and smiles!

Overall I had a good experience with Blush by M.Marie. Erin was the main artist who did my hair and make up and she did an excellent job both for me and the bridesmaids. She has a wonderful energy and is very talented at what she does. During the bridal trial she incorporated my vision into a style that fit me, and the day of she was flexible with the adjustments I wanted and helped make the getting ready aspect of the day fun and stress free; I couldn't have been more happy with the work she did. Everyone looked great and her approach to each person was unique and accented their features. The reason this review is not 5/5 is because there was a noticeable difference in the quality of the work done by the assisting artist who did the hair and make up for the other half of my wedding party. Although it is understandable that each artist has their own style many of the girls that got their hair and make up done by her were not happy and felt like their wishes were not acknowledged. I did bring this up with Melissa and her response was professional and she assured me that the issue would get addressed.

I loved getting my hair and makeup done by Alyssa. It was so easy to book with them and always to communicate with them. I changed how many people were getting hair and makeup several months before and they were so accommodating. I had a couple of tweaks on my hair and makeup after my trial and she even offered to another free trial (which I didn’t need). The company easily got a schedule out in time so I could communicate with my bridesmaids. They did such an amazing job on the wedding day and my hair and makeup was perfect and just what I wanted! It held up alll night and day. It didn’t sweat off or anything. They were so nice during the day and able to make small talk with everyone getting services. I wish all my friends and family could use them. And this was compared to my hair and makeup for my sisters wedding two months later—they were more expensive, not communicative and not as good which can cause so much stress for the bride. And blush by Marie took alll of that away! Loved loved them and Alyssa!

Bianca was our lead hair/makeup artist and not only made me look and feel beautiful at my trial and wedding day, but also was just enjoyable to hang out with. The team also helped my mom with a hair trial and gave her great advice on what style would work with her length hair. She LOVED what she ended up with for both hair and makeup. My bridesmaids had fun with the team, and they looked amazing, too. I went with airbrush myself to stand out a bit more and everyone else (2 moms, 3 bridesmaids) did no airbrush. I loved standing out a bit more, and the makeup looked amazing all day. Also, if you’re looking for the fastest and most clear communication, I swear this is the team for you. I couldn’t imagine my wedding without Blush by MMarie.

I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! When my hair and make-up were finished, I knew I would love it (bc of the H&M trial we had done a few months before), but it looked even BETTER (I didn't think that was possible). I unexpectedly cried when I looked in the mirror when it was all done. Melissa was so kind and helpful, always asking if there was anything I wanted changed or fixed or done differently. Melissa and Alyssa were an absolute DREAM the morning of my wedding day. They were both incredibly fun and easy to talk to; my bridesmaids and I could have hung out with them forever. Both Melissa and Alyssa were so supportive, talented, professional, and helpful throughout the "getting ready" process. Some of us weren't quite sure what hairstyles/make-up to have done, and Melissa & Alyssa were wonderful with offering ideas and suggestions that felt true to each individual bridesmaid. Working with Melissa (texts, emails) was beyond easy and everything went smoothly! The pictures from my photographer came back AMAZING. I had the absolute pleasure of Melissa doing my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I truly couldn't be happier! I had a wonderful hair and makeup trial with Melissa a few months before and ended up wanting to make a few small changes on the day of my wedding simply due to changing my mind on a few things. Melissa showed up right on time with a great attitude on the morning of my wedding and that really set me at ease and set the tone for the start of the whole wedding day! I told her the few changes I wanted to make from the trial, and my GOSH did she absolutely NAIL it!! Melissa is truly an artist. I felt and looked glamorous but still felt and looked like me, which was really important to me. My hair and makeup held up all day and night at our outdoor wedding. We hired Blush by M Marie for our wedding and I’m so happy with my bridal hair and makeup. I had Bianca as my lead artist and she was so great at following my inspiration during the trial. Once I realized the inspiration didn’t fit my desire look, we emailed back and forth to figure out a look that amplified my best features. It turned out perfect! All my bridal party members loved their look too. I would recommend Blush to any wedding event. I would just note that they follow inspiration to the tee so be sure that the inspiration photo is right for you and if not communicate any concerns with them and they will accommodate.

Cristina was the lead artist for my wedding day, and she made my bridal vision absolutely come to life! We changed things up a bit from the trial (which you must do!), and she went above and beyond to make sure she had the correct eyeshadow palette and lip color for my big day! I also had a lot of bridesmaids, and they all loved their makeup. All of my bridesmaids have beautiful eyes, and the makeup made them all POP! It was awesome. Blush by M. Marie did such a great job. Amazing experience from start to finish. Bianca and Erin did such an incredible job and exceeded my expectations for the wedding day. Bianca created the most beautiful mermaid braid and I felt like such a princess, all of my guests were literally in awe! Never have I ever felt more beautiful. Brittany was my lead artist, she was amazing and so nice. My bridesmaids and mother of bride/groom loved the experience. My trial was smooth and easy and Brittany was very responsive to any input I had which created my flawless wedding day look. Blush was easy to work with as a company, discussed pricing and availability directly with the owner who was patient and answered all my questions. It is a 50% deposit, which is steep and I was hesitant due to COVID but it worked out and Melissa was able to spell everything out in the contract. Her coordinator Ashley was SO responsive and awesome, very professional.

After my trial, I felt comfortable that I had the best person for the job! On the wedding day, we had Bianca and Crystal do hair and makeup for the bridal party. I can say with confidence that each bridesmaid LOVED their glam and felt like each artist truly listened to their wants and needs. Not only did the ladies look amazing, but their hair and makeup lasted all night! I was so impressed! I was obsessed with my glam on the wedding day! Bianca absolutely nailed it! Melissa and her team were amazing. They were very accommodating, very talented and made all of my girls look beautiful. Any time I had a question or wanted to change something they responded super fast :). Melissa and her team are such kind and professional people. All my girls loved their makeup and they all felt beautiful walking down the aisle.

Cristina is amazing! I don't wear make-up very often so I was very particular with how I wanted to look on my wedding day. Cristina really listened to all my likes and dislikes during my hair and makeup trial and everything came out the way I imagined. My bridesmaids all looked so beautiful as well! Cristina was easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. Thank you Cristina!!

Melissa is FABULOUS! She's super kind and way easy to talk to! Her work is absolutely amazing, and my makeup stayed all night long! She was ready to touch up anything that I asked for, on not only me, but any of my bridesmaids as well. She's amazing, do yourself a favor and book her while you can!

Blush was incredibly responsive and eager to work with me to make my vision for my wedding come true. They were very accommodating and made it simple to coordinate the trial and day of services. The prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of work. In all honesty, I was hesitant to book any HMU artist for myself and my bridal party because most of us are Black and it is very difficult to find reviews or many diverse portfolio photos. However, I forgot about all of these worries as soon as I met our lead artist, Erin, and had my trial. Erin is incredible and I had no concerns once I was in her chair. She achieved my dream look effortlessly and had me looking better than I could have ever expected. Beyond her skill and talent, Erin is extremely kind and easy to talk to - she made the experience perfect! I cannot praise Blush by M. Marie enough. If you are looking for HMU for a special occasion, stop looking and book now!

I kept going back and forth about getting hair and makeup but in the end I'm SO GLAD we booked with Erin. She nailed my look, elevating my usual style so I felt glam but still myself. Everyone was happy with their look. A few of the updo hair styles started to fall while we were all getting ready but she was able to adjust before leaving and all was well after that.

I was very pleased with my lead artist Brittany! She did my makeup beautifully and it lasted all night. I had so many compliments and she did a great job addressing any concerns I had from my trial to my actual wedding look. The only concern I had was for my bridal party. A couple of the bridesmaids did not like how their hair turned out and there wasn’t enough time to go back and fix it before our allotted time was up. Luckily we had a hair stylist as one of the bridesmaids so she was able to touch them up a bit. Overall, I would recommend this vendor for makeup and hair services!

Ashley was amazing, very accommodating. Everyone of my bridesmaid's loved there makeup and hair. We got a lot of compliments throughout the wedding. I have already recommended blush to other family members. Will recommend to everyone I know.
