le. She put me at ease starting with the hair and makeup trial. I was obsessed after my hair and makeup trials and I just knew I had made the right decision to have her booked as my hair and makeup artist. I told her I wanted a natural look that wasn't too heavy for makeup and I showed her a few hairstyles and she made the perfect in-between that fit my entire look perfectly! The entire time she was an angel of a person and made me feel comfortable. It was seriously like we had been friends for years! Not to mention the amazing team she had with her, Camille and Tanika were so kind and attentive to all my bridesmaids and family members. Each one of the HMUA did better than we could have all imagined! We all felt so pampered and listened to. I can't express the positivity they brought to each one of us girls. I can't recommend Ashley enough. My wedding day hair and makeup were so perfect. The makeup was natural but made my face light up and my hair was amazing and even stayed in all night!! She's fantastic with her communication, she goes above and beyond to make you feel beautiful beyond words and she is such an uplifting person to be around! We all are obsessed with Blush Hair and Makeup Design! They are truly the best!!!

at unfolded 2 days before my wedding. My man of honor's wife was originally supposed to do my makeup as a gift to me as she does makeup professionally. She was about 8 months pregnant around the time of my wedding and unexpectedly went into labor 5 weeks early, 2 days before my wedding. I started panicking about how I would get my makeup done, and immediately reached out to Ashley who I already had set up to do my hair. She responded very quickly and was ley me know she was able to accommodate doing my makeup for which I am eternally grateful. She was also able to look at pictures I had taken during my trial with my friend's wife and ensure me she could create something very similar. The finished results of my makeup were incredible. It had the natural feel I was looking for in my redwood forest wedding, but just enough pop to show up beautifully in photos. I was also amazed how light my makeup felt and yet it lasted all night. Incredible! What really exceeded all expectations was how amazing my hair looked and how helpful Ashley was in making my dream a reality. It started with the in person trial we did where she quickly learned how fine my hair is and how difficult it is for it to hold curl. Of course, I wanted a half pulled back style with flowing loose curls below, and went in fully expecting to get told how my vision would never work with my hair. She offered a great suggestion of using hair extensions to add body to my natural hair so the style would hold throughout the wedding. Being a scientist with no hair skills whatsoever I was very appreciative that she helped me pick the correct brand and color that was a match for my hair color and worked with headpiece I used. I can truly say I have never felt more beautiful in my whole life and I have never had curl in my hair last all night. I got so many compliments from friends and family about how great my hair and makeup looked which just served to reinforce how good I felt. On top of all of that, Ashley was just plain lovely to spend time with. It was great conversing with her while getting ready and my bridesmaids played 90's and 00's jams in the bridal suite. All in all I couldn't recommend a vendor more highly.

She listened attentively to my ideas and concerns, and then worked her magic to far exceed my expectations. The transformation she created was nothing short of breathtaking. She enhanced my natural beauty in a way that felt both glamorous and true to myself. It was like she captured the essence of who I am and translated it into a stunning bridal look. I cannot recommend Ashley highly enough to anyone searching for a hair and makeup artist. She truly made our elopement day even more magical, and for that, I am forever grateful. THANK YOU, Ashley!

ds are pretty high in terms of what I expect out of execution, detail, and elegance for my hair and makeup. At the same time, I'm a down-to-earth person and the last thing I wanted was a snooty or high-glam vibe from my stylist on my wedding day. Ashley was the perfect fit. She listened carefully to what I wanted, asked for inspiration photos for myself and everyone in my bridal party, took over 6 hours on my trial making everything just perfect, helped me figure out what kind of hair extensions to purchase, took a long list of suggestions from me about subtle changes I wanted to make for the actual wedding day, and executed them all perfectly. Ashley even volunteered to take home my hair extensions after the trial, wash them, and prepare them for the wedding day. She is fast and responsive over email, accommodating of requests, and very reasonably priced compared to other artists in the area. And best of all she doesn't come off like an annoying LA-type stylist. She is actually someone I would be friends with. She fit in really well with my friends and family, knew just when to laugh along with us and when to be quiet/contemplative to match my changing moods on the day of my wedding. My overall look was romantic, fresh, pretty, elegant, and natural but glamorous. The rest of her team was great as well--we had two different getting ready locations and they covered them both, and really listened to what each member of the bridal party wanted. Ashley and her team go the extra mile and as a Type A bride, she is someone I would work with again if only she lived closer to LA! Thanks Ashley!
