Tara is wonderful and we could not be more thrilled or happier with how our wedding pictures turned out! She is unbelievably talented and has an incredible eye for photography, capturing both the beauty and emotion of a moment. Tara is easy to work with, professional, has excellent time and people management skills, and is just fun to be around with a great sense of humor! She fit right in with our bunch and everyone loved her! She is the kind of person that just puts you at ease, which is great because weddings can be a little stressful... Tara's #1 super power is being able to be everywhere without being intrusive. I don't remember seeing her during the ceremony (I may have been a little distracted!) but those pictures are some of my absolute favorites - so gorgeously captured! She is thorough and organized and does not leave anything to chance. We went off site for our first look and she took the time to go there ahead of time, so that she knew every great location and background she wanted in our pictures. She is also incredibly kind and thoughtful. After we booked her, she sent US a thank you note and the day of the wedding, she brought both my husband and I little surprises. I appreciated how much she appreciated our business. The day after our wedding, we got a sneak peek of our photos and we got our entire photo gallery back within 3 weeks! So fast! It has been so much fun to relive our special day through her photos. She also managed to get great pictures of every.single.person at the wedding and it’s been so much fun to share them with our family and friends. We cannot recommend her highly enough and hiring her was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. We have received so many compliments and have been asked repeatedly how we are going to choose which pictures to print. My answer is one of each. :o) We will absolutely be hiring her in the future….because not only does she take AMAZING wedding photos, but she also takes AMAZING family and newborn pictures! Marshall and I greatly enjoyed using Tara for our wedding. We met her at her Mesa office one weekend when we were briefly in town. She was super flexible with her timing so that we could meet in person. Right away we knew Tara was the photographer for us. Very quickly she came up with a time line for our wedding and was even the one who recommended our DJ to us. Tara seemed to fit right into our group of friends and family on the big day. She had no problem telling groomsmen and bridesmaids to fix something for a photo, and our bridal party are not the easiest people sometimes. She even completed some tasks that were not in her job title, like bustling my dress. Finally, all of the photos were absolutely gorgeous. I still hear from people how beautiful the photos are and how they wish they had had Tara for their wedding. Marshall and I are already pregnant and will be getting into contact with Tara about maternity photos and infant photos soon. Oh, by the way, Tara is by far the best priced photographer I researched. Just icing on the cake.

I don’t think I have the right words to describe just how amazing Tara is. She captured every picture we asked for and then some. One of the most stunning photos was her thinking fast on her feet, taking full advantage of a beatiful MT night sky and doing her magic. We’ll have these photos forever and we are so grateful to her. Tara flew to Hawaii to photography my wedding in January of 2018. She. Was. Amazing. She managed our HUGE crazy family so well, she got all the shots we wanted, and we got a ton of photos of our guests at the reception which made a lovely thank you gift for them. She came and toured our venue the day before, and finished our photos quickly. I love her!

I could literally write pages and pages about how amazing our experience was with Tara!! From the moment we met her, we KNEW she was the perfect fit for our big day. Tara was recommended to us by a friend, and was willing to travel across the country to photograph our wedding! Tara is one of the most amazing people to work with and I am so incredibly happy that she was our photographer for our wedding day! Tara was truly inspired. From the beginning of the process to the end, she took the time to seamlessly blend our hopes and expectations with her tremendous eye and experience. She was professional, kind, and patient. Getting the traditional shots required of all married couples and their families was a smooth and effortless process, but what was most exciting was to see her creativity loosed when we stopped at a separate location on the way to the reception for some additional bridal party photos - in fact some of our favorite photos came from her impromptu spirit of play. She never felt like an imposition on the events of the day but rather an essential part of them, and went over and above to make sure that our wedding day was perfectly recorded from the first moments of getting ready to the last dances of the evening. Afterwards, she worked quickly to ensure we had our first batch of photos, but without sacrificing quality. The photos were truly amazing! From the grand sweeping shots to the most minute details, each image was lovingly captured. Tara was a gem and we were so lucky to have found her.

When my mom showed me pictures from a co-worker's wedding, I instantly knew this was the person I dreamed of capturing my husband and I's wedding day. The photos were perfect and the style was fun - exactly what I was looking for. We set up a Skype session to meet Tara - since we live out of town - and I knew from that moment she was it. Tara is the most open, honest, down-to-earth, rad chick and vibed perfectly with my husband and I. We did an engagement shoot at Blue Mountain in Palmerton, PA. Tara was on her skis, going downhill backwards to capture the perfect photos. We had a blast! Throughout the entire process, I felt as though Tara and I had been friends for years rather than having just met. Leading up to our wedding day, Tara checked in periodically and was always prompt to answer any questions I had, which was super comforting as an out-of-town bride. On our wedding day, everything was flawless. Tara and her second shooter, Claire, arrived early and kept the day moving. I never felt rushed or as though we were following a set list. I had only asked for a couple specific photos and she made sure to take them. She was super flexible and such a big part of our day. We've been married over 6 months and I never get tired of admiring the art Tara and Claire created. We have gotten countless compliments on her behalf. Tara is super talented and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

RaLa Photography was one of the smartest wedding choices i made. Tara (the owner) was referred to me by a friend who had used her for some baby portraits. At first i wasn't sure if I wanted to use a "baby portrait" person to shoot my wedding, I was looking for something edgy and fun. But because my friend highly recommended her, I decided to check RLP out. Turns out, she is not a baby photographer (although she does that for clients) - she is an amazing wedding photographer. Tara and her back-up shooter were professional, with just enough seriousness to keep everyone focused, but also just enough spunk to keep it fun. We got some amazing Traditional shots, as well as some really fun and creative photos. My only regret is not buying the Boudoir package as wedding present for my hubby! Good news is, RaLa Photography is reasonably priced and since we didn't have to break the budget to hire her, there just might be enough funds left to do something special for Christmas or Valentines. I'm thinking Boudoir calendar for my new honey! Thank you RaLa!

Choosing Tara to be our wedding photographer was the easiest decision we made through the entire process. Immediately after leaving her studio last year to meet her, we looked at each other and said "she's the one" - there was no hesitation. We had a crazy request for our engagement photos (to have our classic car heavily included) and Tara killed it. We love love love love Tara. I am so happy i found her on Theknot.com. She made our wedding day completely stress free. She showed up nice and early and was so calm and professional that I can honestly say I was not a stressed out bridezilla. What I love must about Tara is that she knows exactly what she is doing. Some of the best advice I got when beginning to plan my wedding and figuring what elements were most important to me, was that you only really take away two things from your wedding day: your marriage and your pictures! No one really remembers what your centerpieces looked like, what songs the DJ played and how the food tasted, but your photos are your forever reminders of the actual day. That being said: Hiring Tara was one of the BEST decisions I made regarding my wedding (besides marrying my incredible husband =) From day one, Tara made a unique connection with my now-husband and I. She was one of the first wedding vendors to actually ask about us and our story, not just budget, timeline and theme. She made us feel special and important and that we weren't just another client. We weren't convinced we wanted engagement pictures, but it was the only part of her package that she required (she was unbelievable flexible with everything else) and we were so glad she did! It was the perfect opportunity to get to know her and see a sample of her work. She was FABULOUS! To speak to her dedication for the perfect shot, at one point, she climbed thigh deep into a lake we were shooting at to capture a particular angle. We were FLOORED by the incredible pics we got for our engagement shoot and used them for our save the date (we actually used 9 pictures because they were all so amazing, we couldn't pick just one). She took time with us before the big day to get to know us and even asked about our family members so she knew how to handle the family dynamic (who was sensitive and needed to be handled gently, which family members may or may not be talking, if anyone had special needs or just interesting personalities, as all families do!) She kept us on track throughout the entire day, getting every shot we wanted and to every location on time. The night of our wedding she posted 40 edited pictures as a sneak peek. Her work is INCREDIBLE!!! I was so happy with my experience with Tara and would recommend her to anyone!

Been married one month and already received all my pictures last week. Tara is prompt! She is so patient with everyone. She is fun and really loves what she does. She has an eye for unique photographs and really captures everything. She did an amazing job and I highly recommend her. It is going to be hard to pick only so many pictures for our photo album as there are so many great ones!

Tara has photographed several of our big family events, including weddings and baby pictures! There is a reason we continue to have her capture our family memories; she is the absolute best! She did a great job of keeping the huge wedding party together and focused. During the reception, you could hardly tell Tara and her assistant Jaye were there. Tara and Jaye both were able to capture the feeling of the evening through the lens. Our wedding took place in Asbury Park, New Jersey in Berkeley Ocean Front Hotel. It was very important to us to have photographs that gave off a feel of the location that is very special to us. RaLa Photography did just that. We honestly could not have asked for better photographs or nicer people to work with. If you haven't done so already, you should book your wedding photos with them.

From the get go, Tara and I had a great connection - she was extremely friendly and down to earth. I had a million questions on our very first meeting, since I was a worry-wart, perfectionist-type bride, and she instantly put my mind at ease! With my modern, simplistic style, Tara quickly grasped my vision for the wedding and not only helped with planning the photography, but was also able to provide some insight into other vendors and general planning for the wedding. We knew we wanted engagement pictures and that we couldn't live without our destination photography location in Central Park. Tara easily made this work and her availability was so flexible with our busy, ever-changing schedules. She was super fun and our pictures really exemplified our true selves, real smiles and poses that conveyed the love and silliness our relationship encompasses. She kept us laughing while snapping TONS of pictures and keeping the quick flow of the shoot. Our engagement pictures were done so quickly and we were able to incorporate them into our guestbook. After the engagement session, I knew that my wedding day would be fun and worry-free as Tara was helpful and her work is top-notch. She arrived early on my wedding day and did not wait to begin clicking away. She captured the minute details and the most emotional, life-changing moments. She helped me to feel excited, and even put up with a few of my tears when I couldn't control my excitement and happiness to see my handsome groom. My husband and I ended up choosing to do a "first look" prior to the ceremony and Tara helped to amplify the intimacy of the moment, making it so memorable and special (even with the goofiest groom there is!). She kept my wild, inappropriate bridal party on-track and we made it to the aisle after roaming various locations in Asbury Park. She was helpful in guiding me throughout the wedding and enjoying the ceremony and reception. We were even able to sneak out and catch a few kisses for the camera during the sunset. Even with the thunderstorms and down pouring rain, Tara captured the most stunning and classy pictures. I gushed and cried tears of happiness when I viewed ALL of the photographs she took - unbelievably beautiful and flawless! She captured zillions of photos of our guests too, which I was so excited about. The turn-around of receiving all of our pictures was SO fast and the sneak-peeks help to get through! Her attention to detail and touches to the pictures are impeccable. I can't imagine anyone else capturing our engagement, wedding, and even a little gift for the groom. Tara is amazing! From our engagement session to the wedding and beyond!! She edited and ordered photos from our engagement session the same day so we could frame them for our parents AND hand delivered them to our house! We chose not to have a wedding party and Tara really went above and beyond helping me, she even put my veil on! She photographed my sister's wedding and a good friend's wedding and they also experienced her upbeat personality and professionalism. She is great with making you feel comfortable too, my husband is very impatient and she made the photo sessions flow!! I highly recommend RaLa Photography!!

We didn't have a videographer so it was very important for us to be able to have beautiful pictures to keep. We knew we wanted to work with Tara when we met at a friends wedding. We loved her energy and we had a blast taking pictures that day. She was very helpful throughout the entire process, was always available for questions and so thoughtful! Needless to say, we had a blast with her on our wedding day and all the pictures we have seen so far are absolutely gorgeous. She was able to capture the most important moments and details in a really beautiful way. I know I'm going to have a hard time choosing which pictures I want to frame! So grateful that we get to have these really beautiful memories captured in beautiful pictures!

Lauren and I got married on June 28th 2013 and we could not be happier that Tara joined us on our special day (lets not forget her sidekick J!) We met someone who loves what they do and makes you excited for your photo shoot and certainly knows her stuff and strives for perfect shots. Tara was so down to earth and fun! She was precise with keeping us up on the time, she was helpful and offered suggestions along the way that not many photographers would do. She did what was best for the bride and groom and succeeded. Her professionalism and services were 5 star! Our photo part of the wedding set the mood for a really fun night. Tara joined in with the fun, kept us loose and did what she does best and took phenomenal pictures. The 20-30 preview pictures we have only received so far are beyond beautiful but it also captures the moments of the night. Random dancing, expressions, partying, socializing and much more. The church pictures came out great! We were in awe with these pictures how nice they came out but we were not surprised. Tara and Ralafoto is a recommended choice for anyone planning a wedding, engagement pictures or even pictures with their babies and families. Tara is truly a great person and an even better photographer. From our wedding, we now have a photographer that we will use throughout our lives with more special occasions in the future. We could not have picked a better person and company to be apart of our special day and keep us at ease through the process knowing we have someone great working with us. When I thought about someone I wanted for a photographer on my wedding day, I felt like I wanted someone who felt like one of the girls, seeing as a photographer is with you all day long! Tara was a PERFECT fit!! She is so much fun, her work is a little more modern and artsy, but when it came to traditional pics and we were running out of time, Tara was all business. I immediately felt so comfortable with her and was so happy she was part of my day. The process leading up to the wedding was soooo easy, Tara never left me hanging, every email was answered immediately. Every concern was addressed and I never felt that she didn't have things under control. We had several wedding guests comment on how good she was and the best part is she was so reasonably priced!! We loved everything about her and I am so extremely happy with our choice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My new husband and I used Tara for our wedding 6 months after my sister had used her for hers. She was so amazing at my sisters wedding and the pictures turned out so beautifully that I knew I would want to use her for mine. Tara (the lead photographer and owner)was incredible. She captured the wedding from getting ready, to the ceremony, to the party afterwards. She also always brings a supporting photographer so that at times when the bride and groom are apart both can get photographs taken. It was so fun for me to see pictures of my husband and his groomsman getting ready and dressed for the wedding - they actually used a spoon for a shoehorn and a youtube video to help tie the bow ties - both of which are nicely captured in print forever! Tara took the most beautiful posed photographs and portraits and then was able to capture the candid moments too. Tara has a really easy way about her that makes you feel carefree as the bride. She relaxes you right away and helps you feel like the most special person on the planet. Tara has such an incredible eye for what works and the photographs turn out so unique and special that my mom actually said she is sad she has no more daughters left to marry off because it means no more wedding pictures from Tara! We have some family portraits that are going to be treasured forever and that is priceless. Fortunately Tara doesn't just do weddings.....I can't wait to use her again for my baby shower - the next time I expect all of our family to be together again celebrating a special moment.
