Board and Batten was the perfect wedding venue! Not onlu is it stunning, but they have the best team working there. Daniel and his staff were so helpful with the planning process. They are quick to respond to emails and do their absolute best to fulfill any request you have. I cannot recommend them enough. The day went so smoothly thanks to the Board and Batten team.

What an amazing venue from a Dj Perspective! Beautiful place for weddings and events. Every aspect of this place is simply stunning. Staff and Bartenders were so accommodating to ensure I had everything I needed and best of all easy load in and out. Board & Batten was the most PERFECT venue for our wedding. Everything about it is absolutely stunning. Daniel was very responsive, the food was delicious, and the space is breathtaking. It was everything I ever wished for in a wedding venue and more. We had the wedding of our dreams. Board & Batten was EVERYTHING we had dreamed of for our wedding venue. We were married here in April of 2021. Everything from the venue itself to the grounds that surround it made for the most stunning backdrop for our big day! They were so easy to work with and communication was always easy and a pleasure. The amenities offered like games, decor, and catering done in house are top notch and really amplified our day. The entire team at Board & Batten worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect and we could not be more thankful! I would highly recommend Board & Batten to any couple looking for a beautiful wedding venue and amazing people to work with to plan out your dream day!!

Board and Batten gave us the wedding of our dreams. The space is incredibly gorgeous, versatile and stunning for any wedding. We received endless compliments from our guests on the event space. We chose to have our ceremony indoors and the flip was seamless. The space was stunning for our reception and flipped beautifully to the exact reception we imagined... gorgeous and the perfect space for a lot of fun and dancing. The outdoor patio was perfect for cocktail hour, providing enough shade and fans during the heat and our guests so enjoyed the view and the beautiful sunset. The photos anywhere on the property are unbelievable and just incomparable to any other venue that I have seen. Beyond all of the beauty, I do not have enough amazing things to say about Katie, Brian, Daniel and the rest of the staff. They were so quick to work with us and accommodate anything and everything we wanted. They were helpful without being overbearing and were the perfect fit for us. The staff on the night of was attentive and so kind to our guests. The food was incredible and the drinks were unbelievable... we received endless compliments on both. I would recommend this venue to anyone considering and am so happy that we had this perfect team and space to make our day perfect.

We had our wedding at Board & Batten events in April and had the greatest experience with them! It is absolutely gorgeous and was super convenient to have a “one-stop-shop” venue that was also super flexible. Daniel and Katie were always available to answer any questions throughout the planning process and made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend Board & Batten to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

It is absolutely stunning, they have in house catering and friendly and accommodating staff.
I am so glad I chose this venue for my day!
My husband and I could not have been more blessed to have Brian, Katie and Daniel to work with. They took care of us like they would their own family.
The space is gorgeous and is a perfect backdrop for any brides’ ideas. Also, the food was amazing!!

My husband and I got married 9/5/2020. I could not be any happier that our wedding was held here! Katie and Brian are amazing to work with and are very supportive for their couples. This venue is absolutely amazing! They take very good care of their property inside and out! I hate that our day came to an end but I would do it here again and again! Board & Batten was the perfect venue for our big day! We planned our wedding on a short timeline (just under three months) to be sure my terminally ill mother could attend, and the staff at B&B went above and beyond to help bring our big day to life. Brian, Katie, and the full team are all so kind and helpful, and make you feel welcome at home from the first time you speak with them.
The venue itself is stunning, has space for everything you need for the perfect day. Wonderful space for both the bride and groom to get ready, amazing indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremony and reception, a great kitchen & catering facilities, and a beautiful backdrop for photos. No detail went unnoticed in the design and construction of the venue, and it really shows.
We received so many compliments on the space, the food, and the overall ambiance that Board & Batten exudes. Our photos are also incredible, and we wouldn't change a thing.
Thank you Brian, Katie & team for helping bring our big day to life, we feel so lucky to have hosted our friends & family in your beautiful space.

Board and Batten was the perfect venue for us.
We came and visited in February 2019 right as they were putting the finishing touches on place, it looked beautiful then.
Katie+Brian+Staff were outstanding. They made sure that everything was perfect that day, even down to the very minor details.
The food was amazing! I cannot brag enough about Katie and her staff in the kitchen. My guests are still talking about those buffalo chicken bites.
Board and Batten is perfect for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. We got married in the front lawn.
We felt super welcomed. Katie and Brian greeted us with open arms every time.
Do not walk, RUN to check out this venue and schedule your next event. I promise you will not regret it.

B&B was the perfect spot for our winter wedding! I can’t say enough positive things. From the time we booked the venue, Katie was very helpful and easy to work with. The beauty of the venue including the chairs make decorating/picking out flowers extremely easy. Guests raved about the indoor/outdoor fireplace, the market lighting on the patio during cocktail hour, and the delicious food. I loved getting ready in the bridal suite and my husband enjoyed watching football in the grooms quarters. Every aspect came together for the perfect day (even with the rain). Thanks for making our wedding day amazing!

We absolutely LOVED this venue. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and outside. The bridal suite was a beautiful, practical space for the hair and makeup team. Everything was so organized. Katie was so quick to respond and answer any of my many questions. She was so easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was accommodating and constantly went out of her way to make the experience perfect. Her catering was also delicious; I am still getting compliments on the food from the wedding. The entire staff was so helpful and kind, especially with the clean up and set up. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. We really could not have asked for a better experience!

Wow, let me just say this venue is absolutely breath taking. Katie was so responsive to all emails and questions and really made sure that we were completely happy. They were very flexible with us and made the whole process so easy. My wedding day was literally picture perfect because board & Batten was so beautiful and Katie and her team worked so hard to make sure the day went smoothly!

Words can not express the love and special place Board & Batten holds in my heart! My husband and I were married here at B&B on 6/22/19 (one of the first weddings) and it truly was the perfect day! The venue is hands down THE BEST venue in the Charlotte area by far! Every little detail was thoughtful created to make this a venue perfect for your wedding day. Not to mention how incredibly gorgeous this space is the team (Katie & Brian + staff) were so great to work with and treated us like we were apart of their own family. The FOOD was incredible- a highlight from some many of our guest still raving about how great the food was. Booking with Board & Batten was the best decision I've made along with marrying the man of my dreams! Thank you for making it a day we will always remember!!
