Boardwalk Entertainment

per fun content as part of our wedding video. We loved the keepsake book with copies of all the photos and we were even able to work with them to create our own custom logo to match the Western theme. So grateful to our wedding planners for finding Boardwalk!

hey provided our guests with a printout of the photo strip and one was also placed in a scrapbook where guests could leave a note (doubling as a guestbook). Such a fun keepsake for guests to have after the wedding. They also provided the photos digitally so we were able to download them all, which is another added touch. We rented it for 5 hours which was great to see the photos as the night progressed haha! Shawn was an amazing guest at our wedding, adding such a fun energy and being so kind with all of our guests. He was communicative and super helpful; he even helped us design our own photo strip that matched the theme of our wedding invitations. He was awesome and I could not recommend him enough. One of our favorite parts of the night was taking photos with one another and then having photos with all of our family and friends. It is a memory we will have for a lifetime. I looked everywhere for a true, enclosed photo booth rather than just a backdrop and when I came across Boardwalk Entertainment, it was the perfect fit. I cannot give Shawn and Boardwalk Entertainment enough praise, they truly did an exceptional job. I can't recommend them enough!

would recommend!

friend, I already knew it was going to be perfect, but seeing him in action professionally was next-level. The music transitions were seamless, the energy was high, and the dance floor was never empty. The photo booth was also a massive hit—the quality was amazing and our guests haven't stopped talking about the fun props. It’s rare to find someone who can manage both the sound and the 'fun' aspect of a wedding so perfectly. Thank you, Shawn, for making our night unforgettable!

over again for all events. I will definitely use them again

dn't realize you were creating a scrapbook. That was a wonderful surprise! We looked through it that night and got a real kick out of it.

e wedding planning. He also made the wedding day even more perfect by having all the equipment ready to go for the speeches and such, so we didn't have to worry about anything. He totally understood our music vibe and picked the best songs. We all had a blast. We also added uplighting to our package, which I would 100% recommend. Thank you Boardwalk for the best night!!!

de of the photobooth, which was a great treat and helped with the collective vibe of the evening. He was friendly and communicative the whole way through. His pictures were great quality as well! Thanks again Shawn.

nown Shawn for three years now and he is so committed to making sure people have fun and get their party on! He is an incredible DJ and his team for the Photobooth is fantastic!! He and his team are incredible to work with and the process of getting everything ready for the wedding was a breeze. So thankful you all were there for our day last weekend. Make sure to give DJ Shawn Cox of Boardwalk Photo Booth Company a shot because not only is it a one stop shop, they truly care about your event and making sure it goes how you want. 🤍✨

onal, responsive, and took the time to understand our musical tastes and the vibe we wanted to create for our special day. Shawn did an amazing job reading the room and keeping the energy up all night. The dance floor was packed from the very first song to the last — he truly knew how to play the right music at the right moment to get everyone up and dancing. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how great our DJ was! Shawn and his team also brought along a photobooth which was a HUGE hit!!! From start to finish, they made the entire process so easy and fun. The team was professional, friendly, and brought such great energy to our event. The photobooth itself was a huge hit with our guests — everyone had a blast taking silly and heartfelt photos all night long. The quality of the photos was amazing, and we loved how customizable everything was. From fun props to personalized photo strips with our wedding date, every detail was taken care of. Plus, they created our wedding guestbook from the photos which is amazing and so much fun to look through and relive the day!

d itinerary! He is so great about being involved in your planning process and is super quick to respond to any questions/concerns. On the day of the wedding we had some last minute changes and it was no problem for him to make adjustments! I’m so happy we found him to make our special day even more fun and groovy!!

to end and beyond! All of our guests were blown away by the level of care and attention given to the photobooth setup, props, and guest book, and Shawn kept us on the dance floor rocking all night! Shawn also helped us out when I came to him with a photo strip idea for our save the dates, put together a beautiful logo for us for our wedding day photo strips, and was so awesome to work with on our wedding day playlist and timeline! Big shout out to Allie and Carter for helping our guests with the photo booth as well! My husband and I, and my bonus kids, are big photobooth fans - we seek them out whenever we can, so incorporating the photobooth and providing photostrips to guests as part of our favors was just perfect. Shawn and his lovely wife Carolyn went above and beyond for us so many times, we simply don't know how to express our appreciation with enough words. They are truly wonderful people who care deeply for their clients and their success and happiness, and it SHOWS! We have continued to tell them that we want to do it all over again, because they were instrumental in making our day PERFECT and having a hell of a lot of fun in the process!

the end of the evening, which was a huge highlight! We loved looking through all the photos in the book the next day. Quick and easy communication leading up to the event and customized photo strip design that matched our wedding theme. Could not have been more pleased!!!

to the day for you and your guests! I also LOVE the guest book we were sent home with, AND being able to have access to photos and download them from the computer. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They are also so professional, helpful, and F. U. N. !!!

ou. He replies quickly and is fun to work with. Would absolutely recommend boardwalk to anyone!

him. He takes pride in what he does and pays close attention to detail. I loved how we met with him a couple days before our wedding day to go over the song choices that we selected. Shawn suggested a final dance for the bride and groom. At the time, we had no idea what that even was and sharing those final moments of our wedding night was our favorite memory and we have Shawn to thank for it. If you’re on the fence with choosing your DJ, look no further. Shawn is your guy.

lebration.

the props and were happy to be able to take home copies of their photos. We absolutely love that we received copies of every photo and the wedding guest book Shawn facilitated for us is something we will cherish forever!

an old-fashioned photo booth at the wedding along with a bunch of fun props. Shawn and Carolyn were on site helping everyone. They put together a nice album with copies of the photos, gave everyone prints on the spot, and provided website access to all the photos and video gifs which were so fun to watch. We couldn't have had a better experience.

ON IT! By the way, the photo booth was a guest favorite, as well. His experience shows long before he gets to your event, and I suggest looking no further for your music and photo booth needs. One last thing, he knows how to have FUN!!

a of sitting in an actual photo booth that makes events so enjoyable. The quality of the photoprints, ease of use, and friendly booth attendants provided at great experience. One of the few things I knew I wanted at my wedding reception was a photobooth, so when the time arrived in 2020, Boardwalk was my first stop. Shawn was a joy to work with and a true professional. His timely communication, warm demeanor, and amazing customer service allowed for easy wedding planning. Having to re-schedule wedding plans due to COVID was not easy, but Shawn worked with us to ensure things moved along smoothly and was flexible to our needs. Guests really enjoyed our Photo booth. I would recommend Boardwalk Photo Booth Company to anyone looking for A+ quality service. We plan to use them at any future events we have.

kages to choose from depending on the size of your event and all the hats, glasses & props you can think of! Shawn and his staff provided their open air photo booth to our event 300 miles away. The guests loved capturing the fun and taking a unique memento home! Shawn not only personalized the props and printouts for our event but also helped the guests pose properly while simultaneously organizing a memory book for the family to take home. We are so glad we made the choice to include Boardwalk Photo Booth in our special day! Thanks for everything Shawn. YOU ROCK!!

together a list of songs we loved but wanted a DJ that could read the crowd and Shawn did exactly that. We would absolutely hire him again & highly recommend him to all future couples!

as one of their favorites, and I think a big part of that is because of Shawn. He knew how to sense the vibe of the crowd to make the party amazing. Following dinner, he had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Shawn was very personable and did a great job as MC for the night.

lk PhotoBooth Company! I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about having a PhotoBooth for their wedding. I’ve attended a lot of weddings and never experienced anything like I did with this company! Thank you Shawn for everything!

hole wedding flow seamlessly. I would highly recommend him if you want professionalism and perfection.

ch moment and he kept people on the dance floor, with is so important for us so that we can capture the best reception photos. A vendor team that works well together is SO important. We loved working with him and hope to work with him again in the future!

unication with us throughout the planning was excellent! I cannot say enough about these two. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so! Thank you, Shawn and Carolyn!🥰

with an "Energy" that did not leave the room. His ability to "Flow" from the traditional first dance to cake cutting to the final send-off was done with unforced ease. He is truly a Pro! The Photo Booth is a must. What "Fun"! The Photo Booth was a big hit with our guests and provided each with a fun keepsake to remember the day. Get Shawn booked before he's unavailable. You will be so glad you did.

regret was that we didn't have longer to enjoy ourselves and more of our friends and family couldn't be there to enjoy the fun atmosphere Shawn provided. We had pretty specific requests for music while guest arrived for the ceremony and Shawn was awesome about accommodating every request we made and also great about some last minute changes to the ceremony due to an unexpected request by the officiant. We enjoyed our experience with Shawn from start to finish. Thank you Shawn!!

. Not only did they manage to pull everything together in a short amount of time, but they were also very easy to communicate with, professional, very personable, and just fun people to have at an event! Hire them , you won't regret it!

neat and a great memory piece. Our guests absolutely loved it! The staff were so helpful and friendly! Also Shawn is an amazing DJ! He helped us through the process and carried out our dream song playlist! We had so many compliments on Shawn’s DJ skills and how the night flowed so perfectly! He did a fabulous job with his announcements and also with the wedding party entrance! Shawn’s business is the best out there, the only thing that makes it even better is the special combo of teaming with his wife, Carolyn, for wedding coordinating/planning. All star team!!! You’ll want the whole package!

y. We will be recommending this company to everyone.

ur dance floor was packed all night! The photo booth was also a huge hit at the wedding. Everyone loved being able to goof off and take home a picture, but we loved the guest book that was made from these photo strips! It was so much fun to go back and look through after the wedding. The props were awesome and the photos are very high quality! Shawn, Carolyn, and Lindsay are the best and you will not regret having them at your wedding!!

onal but he was the absolute most attentive DJ I have ever seen at an event and a BLAST to work with. At one point in the middle of the reception we wanted specialty lighting so we could take pictures and he made that happen on the spot. Everyone had so much fun with the music and photo booth! We will cherish the photo book they made for us of all our guests. I would highly recommend Boardwalk Photo Booth Company to anyone looking for these services!!

our event. My husband and I did not look any further than our first meeting with Shawn - we immediately knew he was the guy who would make our wedding the most memorable to not only us but to our guests. Shawn was available, responsive and detailed in the months leading up to the wedding - always available to answer a quick question or provide guidance or advice. There was not a moment when we did not trust his years of expertise, ability to pull off either the most common or most unique ask - and he delivered at every opportunity. The priorities for our wedding were food and music. Shawn kept everyone on the dance floor literally the entire night. The music was on point to our taste and never once wavered from what we described to him. The most frequent comment we receive from our guests has been "we wish we could have danced into the night!". Being a very detailed kind of guy, I gave Shawn a lot of special requests, notes, and timing related to music - he incorporated every detail and made my vision come to life. Our photo booth and the photo printouts were customized with our wedding logo from our invitations as part of our package, and the service provided by the attendants was outstanding. Our guests appreciated an activity at the wedding which also helped create our guest book! I will also add that not only music and dancing-related, but his technology for producing the actual ceremony (sound, lighting, microphones) is top notch. You have all been to weddings where you could not hear what anyone was saying - don't let your wedding be one of them! If you are reading this review looking for a DJ or PhotoBooth services (I, of course, recommend both), contact Boardwalk and look no further. Also, if you are looking for a natural synergy with wedding planning and coordination, his wife Carolyn and her Carolyn Celeste Weddings is the perfect combination. What better way to produce the wedding of your dreams with a husband/wife duo that can make the night shine so seamlessly. They are truly rockstar status. Without a doubt, the best in this region. Call them now!

needs to be noted. They truly went above and beyond to help me, as a bride, find a meaningful song to make me feel like my late Father was walking me down the aisle day, making my wedding day one to remember. This is the service that makes the difference.

iews!! Thank you sooooo much! “And I’m gonna keep on loving you” “I can’t fight this feeling any longer...” ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

meeting with Shawn we we very impressed. He really is open and accommodating of any requests, he was able to match the eucalyptus design in our table numbers to the design at the bottom of the pictures. I think the folks tending the booth were busy from cocktails thru the send off. Everyone, little kids, older folks and all in between has a Blast with the props and endless combinations. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience.

s the party going with phenomenal music and Carolyn has helped us with planning since the beginning. They really are a "one-stop-shop" when it comes to weddings! They are AWESOME!!

endly and easy to work with. He designed a fantastic custom logo for our photos. The quality of the photo prints was excellent and the fact that they post them all to the web is a big plus! Lastly, the album they make of your photos from throughout the event is really special. Our experience was excellent and I’d recommend their services to anyone!

was an absolute pleasure. He was always available for questions and advice and made this process a dream! Boardwalk's Photo Booth is top notch! When you book with Boardwalk, you get a top of the line photo booth with well maintained props and such friendly staff. Kathy & Shawn were absolute delights on the wedding night. Professional, friendly and had all of our guests having a great time! Kathy went above and beyond customizing our guest book which is so special to us. You will absolutely not be disappointed booking this killer team. Thank you!

lways communicated in a timely manner from the beginning with our interest to the day of with final details. The wedding had over 250 guests and all the guests enjoyed their experience and interactions in and around the booth. The booth was a great addition to the evening and the quality of photos impressive. The wide range of photo props provided everyone an opportunity to smile! Highly Recommend!

e. Boardwalk has THE BEST photo booths in the Hampton Roads area. So many custom options to choose from. Shawn's DJ and lighting equipment are top notch as well. He demonstrated each and even texted us pictures of the different colors the lights can do. Between the custom lights, photo booth, and awesome DJ equipment, I don't think you can do much better in this area. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and professionalism of this company. Shawn is very thorough. He called us the night before the event to make sure he got names and timing correct. We gave him a playlist of songs and he created the playlist. The "guest book" photo album is a great keepsake; we find ourselves going back to it all the time when we want to "relive" our wedding. Bottom line: you can't wrong with Boardwalk Photo Booth Company and Shawn.

e copies of the photos. Also loved the customization strip—our guests are able to take home more than a plain photo strip. The team that comes out are so helpful and interact with the guests and does a beautiful job putting the book together for us to look back on. I would highly recommend Boardwalk photo booth to anyone planning a wedding or any event for that matter!
