After brainstorming in her home studio, we came up with the perfect plan for my vision: three burgundy candles in hurricanes, with three bud vases with single stem flowers, surrounded by greenery with flowers weaved in, and tea light candles in amber votives. We received so many compliments about our tables capes! The sweetheart table was SO elegant!! Even my husband, who is not one to notice flowers, could not stop commenting. We had overflowing flowers toward the front adorned by white taper candles on our burgundy tablecloths. We got married at a beautiful church and I did not want to bog it down with flowers. Instead, we just used a greenery on the railings outside the church to adorn the entrance. Susan, in her brilliance, suggested she bring it to the venue after the ceremony to place in front of the band’s stage. It was a perfect touch!! Susan also added flowers to the our wedding cake - it was outstanding!! I cannot get over how gorgeous everything was! My bouquet was perfect, with matching smaller versions for the bridal party. The boutineres were so perfectly elegant. I must emphasize how wonderful it was to work with Susan throughout this process. She has such a calming presence. When we met, she immediately allowed me to be comfortable to share my ideas. Throughout the process, Susan was communicative and flexible! She is so trustworthy and it is immediately apparent. And on our wedding day, Susan came in just as things started getting hectic (with florist and photographers and videographer all arriving at once). Yet, Susan maintained an incredibly calm yet joyous demeanor. I immensely admire Susan and will absolutely be reaching out for any future events.
