The Boat House is absolutely incredible!! We booked the Boat House for our rehearsal dinner venue about 2 months before our wedding when our original rehearsal dinner venue closed....
We originally looked into the Boat House for our rehearsal dinner venue the year prior, but they didn't have a space for parties in the winter. This changed with COVID and when we contacted them again after our original place cancelled last minute, we were told it was available and we booked it without seeing it! It was one of the best things to happen to us, since we had our own private area with bar in a heated, enclosed patio overlooking the water. The view was absolutely stunning!!! The food was incredible and everything was cooked to perfection!! Our guests enjoyed a full open bar and the drinks were amazing!! The staff was just absolutely incredible!! Everyone was not only friendly, but so attentive, even the bartender coming to the tables to make sure everyone had enough to drink or wanted anything else! She even made me a drink that was a special from when we took our parents to try the food the month prior. When there was an accident on the highway, making half of our guests late, the staff communicated with the chef that we are going to push everything back by about 20 minutes to accommodate those guests so everything would be fresh and hot! They even decorated the space with things we brought and made us custom menus to match our invitations and overall theme. Both Katherine and Emily were so attentive to everything we needed and all our questions during the whole process. Our guests raved about the food and overall atmosphere of the Boat House! The view is absolutely spectacular and we had our bridal party go down to the pier to take photos with us since there is a nice lighted path to get down there. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner venue, book the Boat House!! Having our original rehearsal dinner venue cancel was the best thing that could have happened to us because our rehearsal dinner was so memorable thanks to the Boat House!! We are so grateful for everyone there and we will be return customers just to eat. It is one of our new favorite restaurants!!
The staff at the Boat House are Fantastic! Katherine the Boat House wedding coordinator did everything perfectly she always made us feel important and we were always informed of a...
ny details. It rained all day on our wedding except for 15 min in that time Katherine and her staff wiped down the chairs for guests to sit and made sure we were able to sit on the lawn in front of the beautiful Arbor to say our vows. The food was phenomenal! Baked stuffed Lobster so fresh. They set up the south Patio so beautifully coordinating with our Cake and Florist for a perfect look.
We had the most stunning wedding at the Boat House on 11/6/20! After downsizing our original wedding guest list to 46 people, we were in search of a gorgeous venue with a view that...
would better suit a smaller group (they can accommodate up to 72 people under normal circumstances). We worked with Laura to plan every detail of our day and she is absolutely wonderful and didn’t miss a single detail! On the day of, we had Katherine as our coordinator who was fantastic. We had our first look on the huge dock, took our formal group photos on the property with lots of fall colors and beautiful scenery, and our ceremony was on the lawn next to the patio where the reception was held. Between all of that, the incredibly reasonable fees to rent the space and chairs for the ceremony, and the unbelievable food and drinks, we had our absolute dream wedding day! Our guests were blown away by the food and haven’t stopped talking about it since. If you’re looking for an affordable yet gorgeous venue with a top-notch planning team, a sunset-facing waterfront view, and the best food anyone has EVER eaten at a wedding, look no further than the Boat House!
I cannot say enough about the Boat House. We had our wedding there on 9/22/2019. Our coordinator, Katherine, was amazing. She helped us with every detail so the day of, we did not ...
have to worry about a thing. The location is beautiful, with so many good spots for photos. We had very reasonably priced wedding without having to compromise what we wanted. It was still so beautiful and elegant and exactly what I dreamed of. The food and drinks were excellent. All the staff were great as well. Allegra helped us out on the day of our rehearsal and she was great too. Our family and friends have been raving about how amazing our wedding was. It was absolutely perfect. I would recommend Boat House to anyone.
We held our wedding at the Boat House last weekend and we could not have been happier with the venue. Our ceremony was held on the pier behind the restaurant and the reception (for...
70 guests) was held on the South Patio. Our guests loved the venue, the cocktails, and the food. The pier was gorgeous and there were so many beautiful spots on the property for photos. We worked with Claudia and Laura at the Boat House who were so wonderful and helpful. They truly made our day that much more special because of their friendliness and attentiveness. Our servers were also great and made sure that we were treated like royalty. Can't recommend the Boat House enough. Looking forward to going back for our anniversary dinner next June!
