From our very first conversations, CJ took the time to understand our vision, our musical tastes, and the feeling we wanted to create for our guests. We had several planning calls before the event to review our playlist, reception timeline, special moments, and even a list of songs and genres we preferred not to hear – and CJ followed everything perfectly.
He helped create the perfect soundtrack for our entire celebration, from our entrance and dinner music to the transition into the party portion of the evening. He truly understood the atmosphere we wanted and delivered it beautifully.
As an added surprise, CJ captured some wonderful photos and videos from the DJ booth perspective and sent them to us the very next day. It was such a thoughtful gesture and gave us a fun behind-the-scenes view of our celebration.

He was more than a DJ: he helped to choreograph the bridal party entrance, assist in tables getting their food, setting the uplights, taking videos of the dance floor, and checking in with the bride and groom to see what songs they wanted and if they needed anything. There was never a moment where the dance floor was empty. There were so many complements throughout the night about the music, and how exciting and exhilarating the night was! Ellen Strange, string trio, on the other hand, clearly practiced for like ten minutes and thought, yeah that's good enough. It literally rained on our wedding day, moving our ceremony from the beautiful scene we had in mind to the inside and the string trio was still the worst thing to happen that day.

ommunicated with us before hand and tailered her song selection to our recommendations. She played beautifully, and it really set the tone of elegance for the night. We worked with CJ the DJ for the reception. He supplied uplights (upon request). He was awesome to work with. He played songs that we liked and handled song requests politely. He made sure the speeches and dances flowed smooth. He would check in with us to make sure we heard all of the songs we absolutely wanted to play. He made recommendations on when to play what type of music. For example, more slow songs during dinner, oldies to get people dancing, and ending the night with our generation's favorites. The Bistro Lighting by Jason was excellent as well. They were also extremely affordable.

He also provided the “uplighting” which of course would have been an “upgrade” ridiculously expensive from each facility.
