About this vendor
I’m Jillan, the owner & principal photographer of B.O.B Photography. I love being able to share in the love of two individuals!
Based out of Chesapeake City, MD, I have been shooting weddings full-time for over seven years. After graduating from Salisbury University with a degree in photography, I hit the west coast and assisted well renowned photographers. That led me to Nashville where I became the go-to photographer for some of Nashville’s biggest names, including Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, and more.
These shoots led me to what I love most. Real moments. Candid looks. Love between two people. It led me down a path to become a full-time wedding photographer and I can’t thank every couple who’s trusted me with their big day! See my work at http://www.bombsoverbettyphoto.com/blog/.

From the moment we got engaged, I knew Jillian would be our photographer. Having known her for over 10 years and admired her work since I was 15, there was never a question in my m...
ind. She was our first vendor booking, secured almost two years in advance – even before we had our venue!
Our journey with Jillian began with our engagement shoot in January 2024. Despite my initial panic about outdoor photos during one of Philadelphia's coldest, windiest days, she masterfully suggested shooting inside the Philadelphia Art Museum. The results were absolutely spectacular – we've had countless people reach out across social media asking for our photographer's information because the photos were that extraordinary.
What sets Jillian apart isn't just her technical expertise – it's her ability to make anyone feel like a natural in front of the camera. She's the ultimate hype woman, making you feel gorgeous while keeping everything genuine. Her vision is impeccable, and every photo tells a story. Our February 16th wedding at Union Trust in Philadelphia exceeded all expectations, even from just the sneak peeks. From detailed flatlays to intimate bridal portraits, and from ceremony captures to reception celebrations, every shot was pure artistry. Her outside-the-box thinking and ability to adapt on the fly while staying true to her vision is remarkable.
Her team deserves equal praise. Gilbert, her second shooter, brilliantly managed the groomsmen's photos, capturing their natural energy and spirit. And Rebekah? She's nothing short of miraculous. When our dress steaming attempts failed miserably the night before (my bridesmaids and I gave up at 2 AM with more wrinkles than we started with), she worked magic with just a few passes of the steamer. On our rainy wedding day, when my dress got stained and wet from outdoor photos, she spent nearly an hour restoring it to perfection – even blow-drying the inside so I wouldn't be uncomfortable walking down the aisle.
The BOB Photography team didn't just deliver stunning photos – they became part of our celebration. By the end of our 14-hour day, even my hard to crack grandfather was joking about Jillian being part of the family. Guests kept commenting on how she seemed to be everywhere at once, never missing a moment. Her combination of wit, professionalism, and artistic vision made the entire experience magical.
For anyone considering wedding photography, remember that you need someone who can both capture your best angles and make the entire experience enjoyable – Jillian excels at both. Even with just the sneak peeks (we might need to be brought back to life when we see the full gallery!), we're completely blown away. We're already looking forward to having Jillian document more chapters of our lives. The BOB Photography team isn't just exceptional – they're in a league of their own. 🤍
If Jillian/B.O.B. Photography is available, you should stop reading this review now and book her before someone else does!
Jillian is not just a photographer; she's a magician who...
captures moments and turns them into timeless memories. Her outgoing and beautiful personality instantly puts everyone at ease, and her ability to connect with people is truly remarkable. We didn't realize how crucial a photographer's personality would be until we met Jillian. She has a unique talent for bringing out the best in everyone - this quality shines through every photograph she takes. Hands down she made our wedding day even more special.
And let's not forget about Rebekah! Rebekah was an absolute gem. She kept everything organized and ensured our wedding day ran smoothly. Her attention to detail was impeccable and her ability to take control of logistics was top notch. Considering we did not have a wedding planner or a day of coordinator, she helped fill in the gaps and we are beyond grateful.
Words cannot express how happy we are with the B.O.B team! If you're looking for a photographer who will not only capture stunning images but also create a fun and memorable experience, B.O.B. is the team for you!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jillian at BoB Photography for our wedding! From the very start, Jillian made us feel comfortable and at ease. She took the init...
iative to guide us throughout the day, making us laugh and helping us relax, which truly came through in the beautiful photos she captured.
Jillian was also incredibly warm and welcoming to our two young sons, making sure they felt comfortable in front of the camera. Her patience and care with them were greatly appreciated. Not only is she a talented photographer, but she’s also extremely professional, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process.
Her assistant was equally amazing, ensuring we got all the shots we wanted while being creative and mindful of the timeline. Thanks to their teamwork, everything flowed seamlessly, and we now have stunning photos that perfectly capture the joy and emotion of our special day.
If you're looking for a photographer who’s both professional and personable, Jillian is the one!

fun. My husband and I are awkward photo posers, but Jill and Rebekahs encouragement had us feeling extremely confident. The PHOTOS are MAGIC. Jill has an amazing eye and personalizes her shoots to really bring out our personalities! Working with B.O.B Photography was literally a highlight in our big day. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing team!!

as quite nervous for the engagement shoot and Jill immediately made him feel comfortable. When we got to the wedding day, he knew there was nothing to worry about! She's so down to earth and becomes everyone's friend. Her and her team moved us through photos efficiently, but captured everything perfectly. We got the previews for the engagement photos and wedding within days. I can't wait to see the full portfolio of wedding photos. I just know they're going to be amazing and will encapsulate the magic of the day. We feel so lucky to have found her!

ng with her for two of my best friend's weddings, and seeing not only the stunning quality of work but her amazing down-to-earth personality. Jill and her team (shout out to Gilbert and Rebekah) are worth every penny and more. She's not just your photographer but she immediately turns into your best friend, and for us she turned into family. Even all of our family and wedding guests raved about her!
I am someone who has always felt awkward being in front of a camera, but Jill's calming disposition boosted my confidence and made me feel so beautiful during our engagement session and on our wedding day. The first time my husband and I saw the photos, we melted! We got our preview pictures from Jill in a few short days, which was so quick! My husband and I got the luxury of going through them together on the beach on our honeymoon, and cried all over again at all of the special moments Jill captured. I am still in awe of how filled with love and light the photos are. Jill captured our most intimate and candid moments beautifully, and we are happy to have these photos that will last a lifetime. We can't thank her enough!
Our wedding day was sincerely the best day of our lives, and Jillian and her team from B.O.B. Photography were a huge part of the reason why. Our goal for our wedding day was to ge...
t through the necessary things as quickly as possible and cut out the noise so we had time to enjoy ourselves and celebrate with each other and our friends and family. The B.O.B. photography team was prepared with our list of photos we wanted taken and took charge, getting incredible photos done FAST. Not to mention, they were extremely professional while being a ton of fun. We feel like Jillian is truly our friend now and can't wait to see her again! We can't recommend her highly enough - if she's available on your special day, BOOK HER IMMEDIATELY.
Jill and her team are absolutely fabulous! We feel so lucky that we got to work with her and the team. They are all so kind and easy to work with. We chose B.O.B. Photography for b...
oth our engagement photo shoot and wedding day photos and were amazed at how Jill will go above and beyond to get the perfect shot. We have photos with movement, texture, black & whites, and varying levels of sunlight that show the level of creativity in Jill and Gilbert's photos. They are just gorgeous. Rebekah keeps everyone on task and on schedule while Jill and Gilbert are working hard to get the perfect shot of the bridal party and guests. We were amazed at how quickly we received teasers after both the engagement shoot and wedding day. Just speaks to the level of service you get with this team. Love them all. So classy and kind. ~Kara and Steve

essional and so responsive to all communications. Jillian's infectious smile and bubbly personality made every shot so enjoyable on my wedding day. I was beyond impressed with how creative and efficient she was with every single shot. Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning! The way she captured so many beautiful moments, brought me to tears. Jillian is now my friend and lifelong photographer. I, hands down, 100% recommend B.O.B Photography for any special event.

photos. She really got so many beautiful shots and captured a lot of emotion and impromptu moments. She and her assistant were very patient with people asking to have their picture taken. I was sad to see her go at the end of the event.

ble and care free! All of our guests were raving about how great she was and how they loved “hanging out with her.” We would choose Jill a million times over again!
The team for our venue at Gramercy Mansion whole-heartedly recommended Jillian with B.O.B. Photography. I had recognized her name as I did my own research for wedding photographers...
in the area and already knew she was an artist when it came to Golden Hour. After discussing our priorities for our budget, Jason my now-husband, and I agreed that Jillian was our golden girl. (Pun intended, Jill!)
We met her for an engagement photoshoot that I describe as magical—not just because she took STUNNING photographs of us but also because she made me and Jason feel comfortable being in front of the camera. This is a huge asset to any photographer, but Jillian’s knack for knowing just what to say must be an innate gift.
Jillian, Corrin, and Rebekah made up the B.O.B. Dream Team on our wedding day. Even our guests raved about how fun, professional, hilarious, efficient, “insert complimentary adjective here” that they were. I really think the photographs from reviewers and on the B.O.B. Photography website speak for themselves on the level of skill that the photographers have. It’s the hearts behind the photographs with this team that deserve a standing ovation.
It’s hard to express how much you love your team of vendors when they make you personally feel so loved by them. I would sprint through any number of sprinklers any day for these ladies.
Jill and her team at B.O.B photography is the absolute best!!! Jill came highly recommended from our venue coordinator and we knew immediately after our FaceTime meeting she was th...
e photographer for us. She is so kind and down to earth. We felt a strong bond with her right away and knew she’d be the only one we’d want to spend our wedding day with. Jill was so flexible with us regarding our engagement shoot. We had to reschedule 3 times due to summer storms. Even the day of our shoot it was calling for rain, but that didn’t stop Jill from getting the most amazing photos of us. We had sunset, rain, and love all captured in one. She even managed to get a family photo with our crazy dogs. The rainy weathered followed us to our wedding day but that didn’t stop Jill and her team at all. I was so over joyed to see her, it was like reuniting with a friend. She captured every single wonderful moment. Rebekah kept us on track, so that we had time to enjoy cocktail hour and didn’t miss any of our reception. We felt the creativity in the shots, and appreciate everyone weathering the rain to get such amazing photos of us. Jill and team made our day fun and light and captured all our moments so we can remember them for a lifetime. Our preview was perfection, and we cannot wait to see the rest!!
We booked Jill before we booked our venue...that's how important it was to me that we had Jill and her team photograph our wedding. I think one of my bridesmaids said it best - Jil...
lian DOES NOT MISS. Doesn't miss a shot, doesn't miss an email, doesn't miss important moments on the timeline. She hits it all. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that Jill photographed in 2019 and fell in love with her. She was able to command everyone's attention, got the shot, and didn't make all of her photos "light and airy" - they're real. Her photos truly capture the beauty of every moment. I knew that when I got engaged, she would be the first vendor I reached out to for availability. We booked a package that included an engagement session, two shooters for the day-of, and 8 hours. We got back approx. 1,800 photos! (yes, you read that right)
At our wedding (October 23 2021), Jill and her team helped manage the timeline, my outrageously large bridal party, and my crazy family - all while still doing the actual job. They go above and beyond and I'm so incredibly appreciative for their flexibility. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, our wedding day would not have gone well without them. She knows how to pose everyone, work with people who won't smile (i.e. my dad), or feel awkward posing (i.e. my brothers).
Consider your photographer search over. You've found the best of the best.
Um, I can't sum up this review in 3,500 characters but I will try....that's how incredible Jill and her team are at BOB. We were looking for an experienced wedding photographer tha...
t would push us out of our comfort zones (we're a little shy) and Jill (& her team) made us feel so comfortable. She is very responsive, organized and extremely professional - but, fun too. She'll keep you laughing for days, which is what we wanted! She shot us in downtown Baltimore for our engagement photos (included our precious dogs) and shot our wedding day. The photos were incredible (we got teaser photos the next day to share with friends and family!) She made all of my family and friends feel so good about themselves and got us all together on time to get family photos (something that's extremely difficult!!). We weren't a minute late for anything, they knew exactly how much time they needed to get the shots we wanted. We are so grateful to have worked with her and her team. They are talented people. I would ab-sol-utely recommend her. Thank you for everything you did for us Jill!!
Out of all of our wedding vendors, Jillian was our BEST choice. We used Jillian for our engagement shoot, my surprise Boudoir shoot and our wedding day. It is now 3 months since o...
ur wedding date and people continue to share with us how she had the best energy and captured the day SO perfectly. One thing that I found was important to me (after speaking with Jillian) is that she does not use any trendy filters on her pictures. When we look back on our pictures over the years, we will see the REAL beauty of the day. Jillian is someone you need in your corner. Leading up to our wedding, Jillian reached out frequently and made us feel like we had a true friend capturing the most important day of our lives! AND not to mention she made me feel like a smoke during the Boudoir shoot. I felt 10000000% comfortable during the process. I had NO idea what I was doing HA! And she lead me through the whole process making it SO MUCH FUN AND EMPOWERING! Jillian is truly the best in the business. We have so much love for her!!
Look no further, you've found your photographer! Jill is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but her personality and energy and kindness that she brings on your wedding d...
ay is truly indescribable.
Jill is an out of the box type of thinker when it comes to photographs, which is exactly what you want. You don't want the same old photos you see for every wedding. She took photos through a candle flame for goodness sakes! I saw sneak peaks on the wedding day and my word, they. are. stunning. Her work ethic is outstanding as well. As someone who has quite high standards, she exceeded what I wanted in a photographer and more. She was early, quite literally jumped through hoops (or nearly fell in a pool) to get the shot, happily took endless photographs in the rain and even braved meeting our kittens in our unfinished city basement (you all know those aren't pretty) all while oozing positivity.
Now, let's talk about how Jill brings this energy and light and positiveness and silliness to the day for you. Let's be honest, most of us aren't comfortable in front of a camera. Well, having Jill behind the lens makes all the difference. Every single person at the wedding only had incredibly amazing things to say about her and how she elevated the day. Let's just say, for any future photography needs for myself (and any guest at the wedding) we will without a doubt be having Jill with us.
I promise you will not regret this decision for one minute and will likely leave with a dear friend too.
We hired Jillian for our elopement in November 2020, and it was probably one of the best decisions for our wedding!
Jillian was truly amazing to work with! She was responsive pr...
ior to the event, showed up early to our venue and put over 100% effort into taking photos of us. Her fun, positive energy allowed us to relax and...we're a camera shy couple :) She truly brought out the best in us! At one point she showed us a preview and I got a teary eyed when I saw how beautiful the photos looked without editing. She is incredibly talented!
The photos she took were unbelievable. She sent us a handful of photos the NIGHT of our wedding!! Since we had a COVID wedding, we weren't able to have anyone outside of our immediate family at the event. Having the photos that night was such a highlight since we were able to share them with all our friends and family! We received so many compliments on our photographs.
Jillian recently sent the rest of our album, which was much earlier than we expected. The photos turned out so well & we are so excited to get them printed & gift them to our family!
She is fabulous! You won't regret it!
Jill was by far the most important "vendor" on my wedding day. I hired Jill for her amazing photography, but she delivered SO much more. She provided recommendations for other vend...
ors and local spots to recommend to our friends, she helped with the timeline and how the day should run, she helped me get my dress on and she made our friends and family feel so comfortable on the day of! You know she loves her job and she is dang good at it.
Our original wedding date was in May 2020 (hello, covid panic) and when I was first debating a change in date I texted her and my planner - and it was Jill that called me immediately and gave me the run down on what was happening with my venue and what other brides were doing. She was my non-negotiable when looking for a new date - which we locked down and planned for within a day of deciding to change because of Jills guidance. I honestly don't think I would have handled changing our wedding date nearly as well as I did without Jill.
She is so wonderful to work with and 10000% worth every penny. She made this camera-shy couple look AMAZING and now we have pictures from our wedding day that I only ever dreamed of, and never thought could be real. If you're thinking of working with Jill, jump on it, you won't regret it.
Hiring Jill was the best decision we made. There really aren’t enough words to describe how truly amazing she is. From the minute we met her we instantly felt a huge connection wit...
h her. She genuinely cares about her couples. Not only did she help my mom with her outfit on my wedding day but she made sure I was absolutely happy with everything. She kept us laughing all day long. My husband hates pictures but having Jill as our photographer he didn’t even complain once. Every single person at our wedding kept commenting on how amazing Jill is. And even my Dad who hardly ever smiles was smiling so big. She instantly just becomes part of the family and I couldn’t be more grateful that we were able to have her at our wedding. So glad I gained a friend for life. So if you’re looking for someone who will actually care about you and your day and also take some of the most gorgeous photos I’ve ever seen, look no further because Jill is your gal!
I was lucky enough to meet Jill while working at a wedding venue, and she is someone you want to have on your side at your wedding day. Her photography skills are AMAZING, especial...
ly during sunset, but she also captures all of the small details and candids that are easily missed as the bride because the day goes so quickly. Hiring Jill and her amazing team, Mike & Rebecca, was easily the best decision we made on our wedding day. They were fun, got our photos done before the ceremony so we could enjoy cocktail hour, and Rebecca even bustled my dress! Jill cares about her couples and will do ANYTHING (even lay on the ground to get the best light in a photo) to make sure your day is perfect. Thank you so so much for capturing our wedding day. We will cherish the photos forever!!!
I could ramble for an eternity about how amazing and wonderful Jill is, but at the end of the day only one fact matters: Hiring Jill was the single best decision we made for our en...
tire wedding. Having previously worked part time in the wedding industry in Maryland, I knew YEARS before I was even engaged that I needed Jill as my wedding photographer. Everything from her response time to attentiveness, communication, pre-event planning etc. all go above and beyond. Trust me when I say, she will be your one, stand-out, vendor you will not have to worry about. Her unique skill and shooting style jump out at you, even with just a quick skim of her gorgeous and glowy portfolio. It’s easy to see from her photos why she is the best of the best, BUT, what truly sets Jill apart are her personality and attitude. I cannot stress enough, how much this raises Jill above others in her field. I loathe, with every ounce of my being, being in front of a camera. It makes me so anxious I could throw up, and that anxiety does NOT translate well on film. This brought an unprecedented level of dread to the whole experience, that no dose of Xanax could remedy. Enter Jill: her presence has an utterly inexplicable way of putting you completely at ease. She gives helpful direction and guides you through shooting, without even realizing you’re being given instructions. She made the most anxiety inducing parts of my wedding day (and events leading up to it!) feel like my husband and I were non-stop laughing with a lifelong friend. Not to mention, we had an incredibly tight timeline for photos that involved complex logistics and multiple venue changes. She navigated the entire day with unmatched expertise- pivoting when needed, keeping me on time, and keeping my stress level at an absolute minimum. It was an insanely crazy and complicated few days, that she managed to make feel simultaneously effortless and a ton of fun for us. I still can’t believe she was able to rearrange her schedule to fly all the way to Italy to photograph our wedding events. She was without a doubt, the MVP of the entire experience and we are eternally grateful for all she has done for us. There are plenty of highly rated photographers in this industry- but if you want a truly five star expert, above and beyond, investment worthy experience on your wedding day- do yourself a favor, and hire Jill.

an was patient, supportive, and solutions oriented. In a time when nothing wedding related was going right, we were blessed to have Jillian’s talent, professionalism, and personality to capture and add to our special day. We fell hard for Jill during our ~rescheduled~ engagement shoot and couldn’t wait to introduce her to our family at our ~rescheduled~ wedding. Everyone was obsessed with her cheery personality and her beautiful work. Check out her Insta to see proof of her stellar photography, run around with her in the rain to get to know her heart. If you have the opportunity to work with this gem of a human, do it. You’ll be glad you did.
5 stars is not NEARLY enough to rate how amazing Jill is! She is without a doubt the BEST photographer and person you will ever have the chance of meeting! If she's not your weddin...
g photographer, you're doing it all wrong. Where do I even begin? Jillian is such a special person and having only met her a little over a year ago and having only spent a handful of times hanging out with her, I feel like she is now a part of my family. And my husband feels the same way. Something that really speaks volumes about Jill is that, on our wedding day my husband (who hates being photographed) said to me that Jill is the only person that he would never stop smiling for in a picture! And that's how you know! Jill makes you feel comfortable and relaxed while she is taking photos of you. She is funny, creative, and spontaneous. When she asks you and your husband to sit down in an overgrown field at a farm for a photo - you just do it because you trust that she will capture the best photos ever. And she did just that! Her and her team are amazing human beings and photographers - their pictures are a work of art and truly beautiful. She loves what she does and she loves her couples so much. Rebekah and Mike were also there on the day of our wedding and the three of them just mesh so well together! Not only did they take care of us by taking amazing photos but they also gave us drinks when we were emptied handed and helped us climb fences and ride around on golf carts for photo-ops - Jillian even helped re-bustle my dress when it came undone! Seriously, Jillian is the best! And so is her team! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and if I were getting married again, I would choose Jillian every single time!
Hands down the best decision we made during wedding planning was picking Jillian to be our photographer! From our initial FaceTime call to our actual wedding day, she made not only...
us but our entire family feel so comfortable being in front of the camera. When COVID threw a wrench in our original wedding plans, Jillian stepped in as our unofficial wedding planner and helped us navigate the chaos of planning a wedding during a pandemic. The day of our wedding, Jillian and her assistant Rebekah felt like an extension of our family. They made sure all the little details and big moments were captured, creating memories we will have for the rest of our lives. You can tell Jillian truly loves what she does. She's talented, professional and makes you feel like you've been friends for years. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jillian and feel so lucky we get to have her shoot our one year anniversary party next year!

e moment I met Jill, she made me feel as though we have known each other FOREVER. This feeling of familiarity was so valuable and made my husband and I feel comfortable and even relaxed in front of the camera. At times, I didn't even notice Jill, which allowed me to really be in the moment, yet she was still able to capture intimate moments beautifully. When I was planning, I was told to find a photographer I "clicked" with, which I definitely found with Jill! Even better, Jill and her crew were able to "click" with our families and our bridal party, allowing everyone to be themselves and get the most natural wonderful photos! Also Jill is the ultimate hype girl and makes me feel like a rockstar!
We are so pleased with how well Jillian captured our special day! The photos are priceless and we are thrilled with the results!

have been a disaster, but thanks to Jillian and her team, it ran smoothly and I’m so glad we have those pictures! She also agreed to more time on the spot because we were behind schedule and really wanted our first dance photographed! Very flexible, responsive, and got the final product to us very quickly! So much energy and enthusiasm for her work!

e you are just laughing and taking a stroll through a field with your best friends. She is so warm, loving and comforting its like you've known Jill forever. Your pictures will absolutely blow you away. She has a super quick turn around and even gives you sneak peak shots to hold you over! Teamed up with her assistant, Rebecca, we were so taken care of by them our whole wedding day so we used our time wisely to get the best photos with the best lighting! Every single moment I remember through the night, Jill captured it. I don't know how one person was in a million places at one time but she captured it ALL! Thank you so much Jill and your team for making my wedding photos the most beautiful collection my husband and I will cherish for the rest our lives!!!

venue and we could not be happier with our decision. She was a huge part of what made our wedding day so successful. We both don’t generally like being the center of attention, but Jill made taking our photos fun and effortless. She has a way of making you feel special and for once we both felt like models/movie stars in our photographs! We can’t stop looking back at our engagement and wedding photos to relive the memories and have gotten so many compliments from family and friends. One of our friends even mentioned wishing they had hired her for their wedding!! Taking photos with Jill is truly a dream. She brings so much energy and positivity when she enters a room and has such a wonderful sense of humor. Her team, including Rebekah, was also wonderful to work with. We’re both sad our wedding day is over because we don’t have an excuse to hang out with her anymore. We can’t say enough— she’s just the coolest! We’d give her a bajillion stars if we could.

d upon Jillian a couple months before we actually met her for our engagement photo shoot. My husband and I are far from models but she showed us exactly how to do "the walk" and "the twirl" and made us feel so comfortable. She got our photos to us within a few weeks and we were in love. Fast forward to the wedding day. She showed up early to grab pictures of me and the bridesmaids, moms, family. She made me feel like an actual princess and her photos absolutely showed that. She's also a boss. She knows how to direct and lead everyone without coming off too abrasive. She kept my husband in check, which can be difficult at times. LOL!
If you do choose Jillian, book her ASAP because the lady books up FAST. Don't skimp on the photographer, seriously!!! Much love to Jillian and her second photographer Mike as well as her assistant, Rebekah who drove back to my hotel room to grab the grooms ring a half hour before the ceremony. Ya'll are the best!!!!!!!!!

When we first met Jillian for our engagement shoot we instantly fell in love with her energy and enthusiasm! Jillian is a warm, energetic, hilarious, and delightful person. She is exactly the kind of person you would want to shoot your wedding day. For our engagement shoot I was pretty nervous and feeling awkward and she helped us with posing and made it feel easy and fun. One thing you won't see in Jillian's photos are fake smiles. She has an uncanny ability to make the subjects of her photo laugh and then capture the perfect moment of joy. Needless to say, when we got our engagement photos back we were in awe, they were so beautiful and captured truly genuine moments.
For our wedding day Jillian and her assistant Rebekah exceeded our expectations. Jillian and Rebekah literally climbed into bushes, behind gazebos, and through gardens to get the perfect shot. Jillian also acted as a backup of sorts for our wedding coordinator by providing instructions to the bridal party to not only look great in the pictures, but to keep all the events of our big day on schedule. Even during family portraits (which I knew would be stressful because well... family) Jillian was able to keep us calm and get all of our shots done quickly while continuing to make everyone feel comfortable. She also was an absolute hit with our wedding guests and kept everyone smiling and laughing all night long! When we got our photos back my family and I were pretty much in tears. The photos were everything we had dreamed of and more, they captured the beauty and the spirit of our wedding and reception perfectly and we could not be happier with her work.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Jillian! You made our day everything we dreamed of and more, and now we have some amazing photos to relive our special day for decades to come!
We met Jillian a year before our May 26th wedding. From the very beginning her enthusiasm, love of photography, attention to detail and coordination with our other wedding vendors ...
was above and beyond expectations. Jillian was very knowledgable about our wedding site, Gramercy Mansion; it's gardens, the best lighting and its amazing potential for great pictures. On the day of our wedding, Jillian and her 2 assistants were on point and patient especially as our patience started being tested in the heat standing in one spot for family pictures! She became a guest favorite with her outgoing personality. She was able to capture so many great moments. The pictures will allow us to always look back on our day with incredible fondness, love, and romance. I would highly recommend Jillian and B.O.B Photography to photograph your wedding day or any important event.
If Jill's beautiful pictures don't speak for themselves, on why you should book her for your wedding, then let me share how her and her team are the most amazing people on earth. M...
y husband and I are introverted people so the idea of being in front of a camera was not ideal to say the least. I believe my husband said 'it's his worst nightmare' haha. We booked engagement pictures as a way to get comfortable in front of the camera. When we met Jill we couldn't help be drawn to her energy. She is such a kind, genuine, hysterical human being. We laughed almost the entire time, all while guiding us along the way. After getting our engagement pictures back, I could not wait for our wedding! The pictures were beyond what I could have hoped for. On the day of our wedding, Jill brought her assistant, Rebekah with her, who is equally as amazing as Jill. We had an issue with our bouquets and Rebekah, having worked in the wedding industry for years, worked to try to resolve the issue. Talk about going above and beyond?!?! As far as the pictures go, similar to our engagement session, Jill made us crack up laughing, all while capturing beautiful moments that literally put a smile on my face every time I look at the pictures. My husband and I have not stopped talking about Jill and Rebekah and the fact that they were, by far, our best wedding vendor. Even our wedding guests commented about how awesome Jill is - now that's an impact! To be real for a moment, you can always find a less expensive photographer, and we definitely considered it, but you would not get the level of support, comfort, laughter, and so much more, if you do. Cut the budget somewhere else, but do not cut it on pictures that will bring you joy for decades to come. Book Jill ASAP, she fills up fast, and you don't want to miss working with such an amazing person.
Without a doubt the best decision my wife and I ever made for our wedding was to pick Jillian and her team to photograph our big day. We fell in love with Jillian the moment we met...
her. She was more interested in getting to know us and hearing our story rather than talk about which package fits our price range, like other photographers we met.
Engagement Session- My wife was the one who communicated most with Jillian, so this would be the first time I am truly getting to know my photographer. After taking a few pictures, Jillian would show us some on her camera. I was immediately impressed! She had made the middle of a traffic circle look as though we were walking through a breathtaking field down on the farm. She was also able to get a few shots with me and my wife’s pet rabbit. The fact that there was zero hesitation, and her face showed pure excitement, proved to me and my wife we had our dream photographer.
Wedding Day- I was able to meet the rest of the team for some pre-wedding photos. Mike was instantly loved by my groomsmen. He took a wide range of photos for me, which I can not thank him enough. While we did check off all the serious poses, he helped me capture the goofy love I have for my best friends. GROOMS- UPGRADE TO A SECOND SHOOTER AND ASK FOR MIKE. WORTH IT! Jillian was of course amazing. She is extremely skilled in her craft and it shows. She captured some stunning photos that make me wonder how she pulled them off. However, her photos are not the thing that impressed me the most. For those who may not know, you take A LOT of photos. Even though Jillian and her team were efficient with getting the photos done, it can get tiresome. She was able to keep the energy up and it became contagious to those around her. There was a time I needed a break and she made sure I had a drink in my hand to help me power through. Also, at the end of the night I noticed she helped get some people on the dance floor for me as well. This is not the job of a photographer but an example of how she went above and beyond.
She is talented. She made me and wife happy. Just book her already!
I am so happy we had Jill as our photographer. Not only are her pictures beautiful, she made the day so stress free and fun. She is easy going and knows exactly what she is doing, ...
and helped to guide me throughout the day when I was feeling overwhelmed by everything. She fit in with my friends and family, and was able to get through the incredibly large number of group shots I asked for (sorry, Jill!) with time to spare. I am thankful for her!
I booked Jillian as our wedding photographer in December and i never looked back!! She was the absolute best from start to finish! Great communication, Incredible photos, accommoda...
ting, professional, and not to mention FUN!! Her vibrant personality helped make our day that much more special! We got our photos back and we are in awe with each and every one. Jillian has true talent and is worth every penny. Best decision made, hands down! Thanks Jillian!
Jillian was recommended to me by my wedding planner, and from our first phone call I knew she was the right photographer for us. Her warmth and energy radiated over the phone, and ...
I was instantly excited to work with her. On the day of the wedding, she put everyone at ease, most of all me (the bride). As soon as she showed up her energy was contagious. During getting ready photos, Jillian joined the group and immediately felt like an old friend. She expertly kept us on schedule with the timeline we had created before the wedding, but we never felt rushed or stressed by the schedule. I can't even count how many of my wedding guests have approached me to say "I love your photographer and I just want to be friends with her." We were fortunate enough that the weather cooperated with us being able to take sunset photos, and Jillian absolutely nailed these. At the reception, she joined right into the dancing and got some of my favorite photos. I can't express enough how grateful I am to have been able to work with Jillian, and what an important part she was in our wedding day.
I'm going to piggyback off my husband’s sentiment and agree wholeheartedly that Jill is amazing! I first met Jill at our consultation meeting and I was immediately obsessed. Jill’s...
calm and personable demeanor immediately made me feel like we were old friends. She was knowledgeable about a variety of venues and settings and totally game for our mini destination wedding in Deep Creek. Jill’s portfolio speaks for itself and before our meeting I knew we wanted to work with her, but after hanging out with her for 30 minutes, I knew we needed her as our wedding photographer.
Our love for Jill grew to best friend status during our engagement photo session. It was freezing and like my husband previously stated, we are super nervous in the front of the camera. Jill immediately lightened the mood but cracking jokes and army crawling in tall grass just to get the perfect shot. Spoiler alert: she got about a thousand perfect shots that day. We were excited to see what kind of crazy photo magic she’d work on our wedding day.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Jill was responsive and easily accessible to all my crazy questions. I was dealing with a dress debacle and the typical bride concerns regarding how my dress would photograph and which angle was my best. Jill was so comforting and put all of my borderline bridezilla fears to rest. Jill brought along a second shooter, Mike Oswald who was incredible! He fit right in and like Jill, felt like an old friend who was just there to hang out and capture our special day.
Jill showed up early on the day of and immediately got to work. She was so genuinely excited to spend the day with us and was able to manage our tight timeline perfectly while managing to get every photo on our long list prior to the ceremony starting. During dinner, Jill timed the sunset exactly right to get her infamous “golden hour” shots, while still allotting us enough time to enjoy dinner and spend time with our guests. Jill was able to perfectly capture just how fun our wedding truly was. My mouth is open in the biggest smile or laugh in about 80% of the pictures. She managed to make even the craziest dancing pictures look gorgeous.
The day after our wedding, Jill sent us a picture from our golden hour shots and we were obsessed. We received our entire photo gallery only 13 days after our wedding. Our gallery was 1,560 photos total, each photo better than the last, every picture is exceptional! Our family can’t stop raving about Jill and all are requesting photo prints. We are so obsessed with our photos and will be finding any and every excuse to throw a party, just to hire Jill again.
As the groom, I didn't give much thought to our wedding photography. "Can't people just take pictures on their phone," I foolishly remarked to my now wife. How wrong I was. Our wed...
ding truly would not have been the same without Jill. Not just her ability to capture the moment beautifully. Not just her amazing artistic eye. Having Jill with us throughout the day felt like having a friend or family member along for the ride. She is charming, she is kind, she is hilarious. She's also the most skilled photographer I've ever seen firsthand. My wife and I are not exactly what you would consider "photography subjects." We're awkward in front of the camera and we typically hate the result. Jill made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. She had us constantly laughing so that the photos she took actually reflect genuine emotion. We truly formed a bond with Jill and I'm not embellishing when I say she was a friend. More over, a number of our wedding party and other guests commented on how spectacular Jill was. She was able to corral a massive group of people (I had 12 groomsmen, my wife had 10 bridesmaids) in a thorough and respective manner. She made everyone involved feel calm and natural when posing for the photos. She made the most of our allotted time, sprinting around and finding the best settings for the pictures. She got us for all the important photos and then faded back to get candid shots. I cannot overstate how crucial Jill was and how perfectly she executed everything. I'm honestly sad we won't get to work with her again, but I'm beyond thankful for her and the friendship we formed.
To be perfectly honest starting my wedding planning I didn't want a photographer...we were worried about budget and in the age of smart phones who needs a photographer?
Boy, was ...
I wrong! Jillian made our wedding feel like a dream come true...She was unbelievably professional, had great attention to detail and stuck to our timeline and adhered to our long list of guest pictures. Our wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year and Jillian didn't mind one bit! She was with us every step of the way working unbelievably hard...
Jillian communicated so well with us leading up to our wedding. We were coming from out of state and she made us feel at ease. We were able to facetime / text / email with her and always felt there was an open line of communication. From our first time communicating she felt like our long lost best friend. On our wedding day her cues and direction made our shots unbelievably beautiful.
Now to the photography...I could go on and on but if you are on the fence...PICK B.O.B Photography! The shots brought my husband and my sister to tears on viewing them. Jillian is up for just about anything and will not steer you wrong. Also, make room on your walls! You will want to put your photos everywhere. eparations, hands down!! ❤
We fell in love with Jill the first time we met. She is just such a genuine, kind, energetic, talented and passionate person! Both my husband and I are a little camera shy and Jill always makes us laugh and live in the moment. In the end, we got beautiful, beautiful photos which captured not only our happiest moments, but also precious moments at the wedding for our parents, wedding party, guests...she was even kind enough to get couple shots of our parents (which are GORGEOUS), and manage to even make the most serious family member laugh and have fun in the photos. The result is phenomenal, and all of our friends are in awe of her talent and kept asking us about her! :)
In other words...Jill, we love you!!! ❤ Go with her, you can't go wrong!!!
