The bad weather caused a cascade of changes to announcements and the order of things because we were also mingling for cocktail hour, but he was great in making sure we had our time to shine during the grand entrance, everyone got their speeches in, we had a great first dance that everyone "ooo and ahhed" over, and then the party was on! Timing was SPOT ON for when to play ambient music and when to crank it up for the dances, and every step of the way he made sure we were ok with the songs that were being requested when they deviated from the playlist we'd worked on with him before. The sound systems for both the ceremony and the reception were great and the extra lighting was the perfect touch for encouraging everyone onto the dance floor to shake things up. I would say the BEST thing about Bobby though is that he's a team player: he worked with us, he worked with the venue, and he and our photographer, Mark Ducharme, coordinated perfectly to create and then capture so many wonderful moments! I know budget is a huge concern for most couples, especially in these economic times, but we found Bobby's prices to be more than reasonable, especially with the quality he offers! Definitely check him out!

were overlooked/messed up during our reception. 2 bridesmaid/groomsmen were completely skipped during our grand entrances, this was embarrassing and awkward, especially since the DJ had just come out and confirmed the order and pronunciation of each person. I understand that mistakes happen but when we told the DJ that he skipped 2 people he then pointed out that his notes were wrong, seemingly accusing me that the notes I gave were wrong, but these were notes he had made and the list we provided was correct, which he confirmed moments prior when he came out and confirmed the order. He then also messed up a very important detail during the father/daughter dance, the music was supposed to fade into the bride's parent's first dance song as a surprise for the bride's mom, but when announcing the father/daughter dance he also stated that the bride's mom would join. (he also got the bride's mom's name wrong and called her the name of the artist of the song to be played) We had a call a week prior to the wedding to go over everything and this part was explained in detail and assured he would take notes for himself so everything would go as planned. This did not happen and when the groom went up to him to tell him what to do after all the guests were confused the DJ then said "look at how confusing these notes are how am I supposed to know?" but again these notes were the DJ's own notes... He did a great job keeping the dance floor active all night and played good music, but he dropped the ball on the important details.
