We had previously booked a different bakery for our wedding that fell theough several months before our October wedding, but I am honestly glad it did. Kathy was amazing and the cake that BoCakes made for our wedding was world class! We were able to do many different flavors in each layer and all of our guests could not stop talking about how amazing it was. I wouls highly recommend!!!

We received so many compliments of how good the cake was that there wasn't any left as people took second helpings! We will definitely be going there to get our 1st-year anniversary cake.

BoCakes were awesome and so accommodating. Kathy and her husband prepared a take home tasting for us so that we could still taste all of our options even during the pandemic. Everything was delicious and the cake stand they provided was perfect for the look of our wedding! All the guests loved it and we can’t wait for the slice they bake just for us on our 1 year anniversary.

Kathy is the sweetest and amazing at what she does! I was an out state bride and fly frequently to CA to visit family. I was worried it would be difficult to coordinate for a tasting event. Kathy was accommodating and made scheduling the tasting event so easy. The tasting was seamless and delicious. Added bonus, I was able to bring my parents. We ordered a three tier cake for our wedding. I wanted a simple elegant cake and she delivered exactly that and more! Our cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! Would highly recommend!

Kathy delivered the cake of our dreams during our 9/1/19 wedding at Galway Downs. She was able to marry my love for chocolate and my husband’s penchant for not overly sweet desserts in our 4 tier sumptuous chocolate, marble, red velvet, vanilla chiffon masterpiece complimented by a multitude of incredible fillings like cookies and cream, cream cheese mouse, lemon and strawberry and praline and strawberry. The chiffon was light and airy and the flavors were very distinct from one another yet worked liked a magical symphony.

I cannot tell you how many people reached out to us during and after our wedding talking about our desserts. Kathy did an amazing job with our cake and dessert bar. Everything was so delicious and our dessert table was cleaned out before the night ended!

Absolutely horrid! From the time we met this woman at the wedding Faire she was terrible! She asked when our date was and scolded me for not making an appointment yet. Even though I was scheduling off the venues timeline. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she flipped about how that is a cake from Australia and it’s not what she does etc. We started shopping around and everyone we liked was booked and she was already contracted through the venue so we went to the consult. She still made a big deal about the cake I wanted, even though all I wanted was for it to be pink with white dots and lace. finally said she could do it but there would be a $295 upgrade fee on top of whatever she gets from the venue. We paid it I sat for 30 minutes picking the perfect shade of pink from swatches because I hate white cakes. The day of the wedding the cake was white. She said she was looking at the picture and forgot. Even if she went off the picture it would have been blue. I called for the refund she offered and she was only going to refund part of the upgrade fee because she still put lace. I told her that is ridiculous because what is the point of doing the other stuff when it did not even show on the cake. I told her I feel without color definition it was a white blob on the white marble pedestal we also rented to display exactly what I did not want! She then told me I’m rude and she doesn’t understand why I’m upset her cakes are beautiful. I told her you did exactly what I did not want, you can’t go back and unruin my wedding cake, and you are calling me rude? She said yes! Seriously you are so in the wrong and you are then expecting an apology from me and calling me rude?! I have let the venue know also they should not be using this vendor.

BEST CAKES EVER!! Kathy was amazing to work with!! Our cake was beautiful, delicious and exactly what we wanted! Definitely not dry or overly sweet, just plain perfection!

Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous! I cant stop looking at the photos of it. And it tasted amazingly, too. Thank you Bocakes for the wonderful cake!!

First impression when I called to make apt. was Kathy the lady who runs(owns) this bakery is not very friendly, however she is contracted through the venue so we went with it. Mistake! We went in for our cake tasting and picked out our flavors etc. the pieces of cake she gave us were dry and not terribly flavorful. We excused it thinking that perhaps no frosting made it dry out faster? Or that the tasting pieces were not as fresh since this isn’t the real deal. Mistake #2. Overall our wedding was fabulous we loved every single detail.... except the cake ...... 1. We had ordered a 3 tier and received a 2 tier. 2. The cake was so dry and tasteless that people not only left it on their plates but commented ...... multiple times! We STILL had most of the top tier left after the wedding but it was trashed. My husband and I tried it again once home and decided even getting a cake at Ralph’s would have ended up being better.

BoCakes made our wedding cake and desserts, and they were absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments on the desserts - the red velvet/oreo cake pops were a particular hit. Karen was also so easy to work with and accommodating. We really appreciated her professionalism. Overall a fantastic experience working with BoCakes - highly recommend.

BoCakes was perfect! We were going for a dessert bar and they helped us to pick desserts that not only tasted good but also looked so pretty! We did both desserts and a cake. The cupcakes, cheese cake bites, eclairs, and cake were all delicious!

from our first visit to bocakes bakery, i simply loved her little shop and our cake tasting! it was all so simple and delicious! she was so patient and brought whatever we needed more of. after, when we were talking about our vision for the wedding cake and cupcakes, she understood completely! when i saw my cake and cupcakes on the wedding day, they looked exactly like the picture i had showed her! also, her flavors are Amazing!! we wanted a good variety so we had 6 different flavors, blood orange, vanilla, chocolate, lemon, carrot cake and marble, all with different fillings to match. sadly i was only able to taste the marble, peanut butter, chocolate layer cake and the blood orange cupcake, but those were both sooo delicious!! and everyone else told me how great their flavors were too. like i said, kathy really knows her stuff! she’s the best!!

We decided on a two tier cake and several bite-sized desserts for our wedding. At our tasting, we were blown away at how delicious every single choice was, including desserts, cake, and cake fillings! Our guests were equally impressed. Even something as simple as a chocolate chip cookie was legit the best I've ever had. Amazing and affordable!

I am so happy we booked BoCakes Bakery for our wedding!! Our cake was beautiful and it was so YUMMY! It was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted (no offense to my friends' wedding cakes hehe)! You can build whatever kind of cake you want with different cake and filling options and a million different ways to combine them all. There were so many options it was almost too hard to make a decision! The cake tasting was so much fun and Kathy was really easy to work with. You will not be disappointed!

Working with Kathy was great! She is very professional and her cake is delicious! For cake tasting, she bakes different flavored cupcakes that she then cuts in half and then has all her filling flavors displayed on a lazy susan and you get to mix and match all the different flavors. Each cake tier can be different flavors. Our cake was delightfully delicious and beautiful! She has many years of experience as well so she gives really good advice. She is also very responsive. Sometimes it’s hard to get her over the phone because she is very busy, but I always followed up with an email and she would get back to me within 24-48hours. I highly recommend BoCakes Bakery for your wedding cake.

Kathy was so easy to work with! The wedding tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning, each tier with 3 different flavors. Everyone LOVED the cake and they decorated beautifully! Highly recommend BoCakes Bakery!

Bocakes made a sweetheart cake and various desserts for our dessert table at my wedding on 3/16/2019. We did a tasting in November, and Kathy was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We loved getting to taste all of the different desserts and appreciated her help and suggestions in making our final decision. Our sweetheart cake turned out beautifully (and was delicious, by the way), and guests raved about the desserts that we chose--we did mini cupcakes, mini apple pies, and red velvet cake balls (the cake balls seemed to be the favorite). We are so happy we decided to go with BoCakes.

We ordered a dessert bar and small cutting cake from BoCakes. Being a destination wedding, I did not have much time to shop around but the tasting was great and went for it. Kathy was hard to communicate with, and often throughout the process I was chasing her for replies/confirmations. After paying my final cost, she never sent me a final invoice in which I would have been able to see that the cutting cake was not on it. The desserts were on time and delicious, but the whole thing ended up in a fiasco with the cutting cake, and her saying she never received my cash deposit (which she claims she never told me to mail) but she did- again, no prior communication about whether she even received a deposit from me or not to avoid this situation down the line. Very frustrating and my poor parents had to deal with her being very rude to them and me the day after our wedding.

I had my wedding cake from here - amazing! The tasting was fun and enjoyable and very thorough with different information. The result cake at the end was beyond words of how amazing it was. Everything came out delicious and gorgeous. My guests loved it and wanted to come back for more!

BoCakes is absolutely amazing and delicious! Everything looked perfect the day of and our guests loved our cupcakes! BoCakes helped us to design our perfect wedding cake as well as create 3 different cupcakes for our guests. We could not have asked for anything more!

Kathy from BoCakes is the best! We had an awesome experience at our cake tasting at her cute shop. I loved that we got to try ALL the different cakes and fillings there. At other tastings I went to they only gave you a couple of the top sellers. I am honestly not that much of a cake person, but the BoCakes cakes are SO good! And the frosting is a buttercream that is not overly sugary which I really appreciated. I also loved that Kathy offered fresh strawberries and blueberries as filling options. We ended up going with a three tier cake and did vanilla with cream cheese mousse and strawberries on the bottom, chocolate with chocolate mousse and strawberries in the middle, and lemon with blueberries and whipped cream on the top. The cake looked beautiful, and it tasted so good as well! I did hear from my florist that the cake was delivered a little bit later than planned so she had to rush a bit putting the fresh flowers on it, but since it was a warm day it was probably best that the cake didn't sit out longer than it needed to. Overall, we had a great experience with BoCakes and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in Temecula!

BoCakes by Kathy made the most gorgeous wedding cake - seminaked cake with heavy frosting, and a beautiful floral tier on the cake with fruit on the bottom. I found photo inspiration online and Kathy recreated it perfectly. In addition, she had a wooden stump we borrowed to place the cake on for the rustic look. We were able to choose 9 layers and 6 fillings for our cake! It was moist and delicious- everyone raved it about it!

If you haven't already chosen your baker, look no further! Kathy and her husband make amazing cakes! My husband and I are not really cake people but I wanted a wedding cake because I still wanted a cake cutting ceremony and pictures. We tasted from several area bakers and BoCakes was way above all the rest! I ordered 'to-go- boxes via email, picked them all up and went to a winery to sit and taste with my husband and bridesmaid. There was no competition, BoCakes was so fresh, moist and delicious! We went with the Blood Orange cake w/Cream Cheese mousse and fresh blueberries as our first and third tiers with a mixture of different chocolate cake layers and frostings in between. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!! All our guests loved it too, even those that normally avoid sweets had to taste it! Thank you Kathy!!!!

Kathy was incredible since day one when I called and requested a funfetti flavor wedding cake! When we set up our tasting and we walked in we were greeted with such hospitality and beautiful spread of multiple cakes & flavors. Kathy let us enjoy our tasting with coffee and let us choose exactly what we wanted. With BoCakes, your cake is so unique as you get to choose many flavors & fillings based on how many tiers you are getting. Kathy also created my perfect Pinterest wedding cake and had a great rental cake stand inventory. We can't wait to go back in a year for our anniversary cake to have some delicious cake!

Me, my husband, and our guests all loved the desserts that were offered at our wedding, thanks to Kathy's great work. We selected the Mexican wedding cookies, red velvet cake balls, mini carrot cupcakes, and mini chocolate cupcakes, and they were all fantastic! We knew from the start that a cake was not for us, and had expressed to Kathy that we wanted to offer four desserts, with two of them being cupcakes. At our tasting, she went above and beyond, and allowed us to try four cake flavors for our cupcakes, and she offered us just about every dessert she makes to better help us decide on the last two dessert options. Her Mexican wedding cookies are in my top 3 favorites, and I am very particular about that specific cookie. Overall, our guests loved being able to stop by the dessert table all night to grab a sweet treat, they loved the variety, and they were delighted with the quality of all of it. We had just shy of 400 pieces, and she made our dessert table look absolutely perfect. We are so happy with how it all turned out, and so glad that we opted for desserts, rather than a cake.

To say that this cake was absolutely amazing would be an understatement! It was light, moist, and so incredibly tasty! This is a very special bakery. You can literally customize every single layer of every single layer! Can’t decide between 9 flavors and you have 3 tiers? You can LITERALLY use every flavor! We didn’t get that fancy, but it was nice to have the option. We went with strawberry cake and white chocolate mousse filling on the top (bride’s choice), red velvet cake with cookies and cream filling in the middle (the bakery’s specialty), and vanilla cake with praline filling on the bottom (safe choice). We also opted for a groom’s cake. My husband (swoon) plays GO, so they made a cake and designed it to look exactly like a GO board complete with delicious frosting GO stones! This was my hubby’s concoction of lemon cake with whipped cream cheese spread and fresh strawberries as the filling. It was all so incredibly tasty and beautiful! We used this bakery through our venue as part of the Wedgewood Wedding at the Orchard package. The strawberry and white chocolate were not included, but we hardly even noticed the extra price! We would ABSOLUTELY recommend this bakery and while we didn’t save the top of our anniversary, we are absolutely going to go back to get a couple mini cakes for our anniversary!

We have nothing but positive things to say about BoCakes! (Same as all of our guests!!) You are essentially able to create your own custom cake…. Meaning, you can choose a different layer, filling, etc. for every single tier of your cake. This is awesome, if you have some people with nut allergies, but you also know that half your family love praline/pecan's, etc. For the cake tasting, you get to try every cake flavor, every filling available, and can mix and match however you please! We thought we would be somewhat limited to choosing from staple options (as most bakeries have), but not with BoCAkes, Our wedding cake was a completely custom cake, which we loved, and so did our guests! We chose to do our top and bottom tier the same (a mixture of red velvet, marble, etc.) and the middle tier included praline filling and some other cake layers for those who were not chocolate/red velvet fans, etc. The cake was amazing - and every single piece was eaten! The owner told us that for our 1 year anniversary, we can come back and get the "cake topper" made fresh, instead of saving ours and putting it in the freezer for one whole year (using space, getting freezer burn, etc.) How awesome is that? My family plans to use BoCakes for other events we have in the future because everyone was SO impressed! If you have the opportunity to use BoCakes for your wedding or any other event - I highly suggest it!

Amazing just absolutely amazing.... Kathy went above and beyond to give me what I pictured. Our cake and cupcakes looked and tasty amazing.

Cathy was the absolute best! We first met with her for our cake tasting where we decide to forgo the cake and get a dessert bar. Best decision ever! The red velvet balls are amazing....our guests and my new husband were sneaking them all night!! Everything was absolutely delicious and the presentation was lovely!

Kathy is literally the best!!! Her desserts are seriously amazing (especially her cake balls), and her cakes are truly beautiful! She is so nice and we love her :)

Kathy was amazing! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and we made it the center of our whole reception. And it tasted FANTASTIC! It was a 3 layer cake and had 9 flavors and 6 fillings. Tasting the cake and putting together 3 layers per layer was so much fun and unique. Highly recommend it!

BoCakes was AMAZING! The tasting allowed us to have complete control in the exact flavors we wanted in a wedding cake, and there were tons of options to choose from! We opted for a cake topper and mini desserts for our guests. Our guests went wild over the peanut butter fudge brownies and the red velvet cake balls. Kathy, the owner, set up our dessert bar and it was everything we could have wanted. She provided all of the decorations that fit perfectly with the theme of our wedding, and it added such a perfect touch. The dessert bar was a definate highlight of our wedding and we have BoCakes to thank! I can't wait to return on our one-year anniversary to pick up a new cake topper for us to enjoy. This place does it right and I highly recommend!

Right off the bat we were so impressed with our experience at Bocakes. Kathy, the owner, facilitated our tasting back in December for our March wedding and put on quite the spread! I was shocked at the number of cakes and fillings she made available to us, not only for the tasting but also the cake itself! She encouraged us to be creative, and offered basically every layer of the cake to be a different flavor with unique fillings in between each. I loved that because we ended up with such a unique selection of flavor pairings for each tier. She also did a great job of explaining the cake serving breakdown (i.e. how many guests = how many tiers, accounting for the fact that not everyone would likely eat cake). A good thing to note is that she only works with buttercream (no fondant, which was A-OK with me!) but still can create beautiful designs and pretty much create anything a couple requests. As we neared the wedding I was struggling to figure out favors for guests (I couldn't bear the idea of spending a fortune on a shot glass or other tchotchke that people would end up leaving or tossing) so I figured maybe food/cupcakes would be the way to go. Kathy gave us an excellent quote for boxes of mini-cupcakes (again offering a variety of flavor combos!) and provided the cutest little packages with personalized labels we created. All in all Kathy was professional, responsive, and wonderfully affordable! I can't wait for our 1-year anniversary to be able to indulge in her cake again (did I mention she offers a complimentary 1-year anniversary tier for her customers?!). You rock Kathy!! We loved our wedding cake from Bocakes!! The tasting was so much fun! Each of us was provided with a plate of cupcakes in all of the different available flavors and the middle of the table had all of the available fillings so that we could mix and match to create our own unique flavor combination. Once the flavors were selected, Kathy had props to mock up a cake so we would know exactly what it would look like. I came in with a pretty vague description of what I wanted the cake to look like, but Kathy worked with me to come up with a beautiful cake! She even placed the flowers on the cake at the venue because the florist arrived before the cake. Our wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious!

I can not say ENOUGH amazing things about BoCakes. I bake often and I know a good cake and a bad cake when I see/taste it. We went to a few bakeries in Temecula and after a few issues we were directed to BoCakes. THANK GOD WE WERE! The cakes were amazingly moist and delicious, the frosting was perfectly matched and everything was absolutely perfect. The cake turned out gorgeous, tasted amazing, and the delivery was seamless.

For me - the wedding cake was always one of the things I was MOST excited about because I really LOVE cake. We did tastings at 5 different bakeries and ended up going with BoCakes because the cakes were by far the yummiest. We were working off a tight budget and I had thought I would probably only be able to afford a very small single tier cake and then would have to do sheet cake in the back for guests. Kathy's prices are so affordable that I was able to get a huge three tiered cake within my price range! I always dreamed of that but never knew that it would be possible. The cake was PHENOMENAL - all the guests loved it! I highly recommend you ask her to send a small to go box for you at the end of the night. My groom and I definitely ate a slice at the reception but had another slice back in our room later that night. It was the perfect ending to the perfect night!

Kathy at Bocakes was wonderful! The cake she made for us was gorgeous, exactly what we requested. She was great about offering ideas for simple touches to make our cake look amazing. And don't get me started on all the flavors available! She has so many delicious and creative combinations that your guests will love. It is definitely not the boring wedding cake you would get at any other event. Kathy and her team was fantastic about delivering our cake moments before our reception started so it would last in the heat and look amazing for photos during dinner. She was very communicative during the planning process and never pushy or overbearing during our tasting. I would highly recommend Bocakes for your wedding!

I had BoCakes make a surprise grooms cake for my wedding. Showed her a pintrest picture I had found. She was able to replicate it and make it delish! The tasting experience was very good, no rush, no hassle, all the options I could possibly want. All in all a perfect experience.

Kathy was the best! She was super helpful, accommodating and she made not only a gorgeous wedding cake but an absolutely delicious one at that! My fiance was unable to make our planning meeting so Kathy met with my mom and I in what can only be described as a heaven on earth cake tasting session (one of the best perks about planning a wedding). Everything was delicious, her flavors are great and she has some super creative ideas that made for a memorable cake.

Overall our cake tasted good. The look wasn't perfect but nice. I corresponded with Kathy the most and a lot of her response to me were a little curt and almost rude.

Our wedding cake looked amazing and I couldn't have pictured it any better! Cathy created a rustic themed cake for us. It matched my rustic wedding theme perfectly. It was an affordable price. Guests loved the variety of different cakes they were able to choose. Cake tasting was fun and Cathy explained everything so well , and you can tell she loves what she does In helping brides and grooms make their decision, and having so much fun doing it. I highly recommend BOCAKES.

Beautiful and delicious!

Kathy and her husband are the absolute best! I have never had such delicious cake before in my life! My (now) husband ate so much cake the day of the tasting- she's that great! Kathy is kind, patient and understanding. She knows her stuff and is such a doll to work with. She is a hard working woman and she has a heart of gold! Every one of my guests were astonished by my cake and said it was delicious! She also made us cupcakes, cookies and other delicious sweets. She is affordable and well grounded. I would recommend anyone to use her for their wedding cake- she's amazing! Thank you Kathy for all your hard work and effort. It was amazing!

We found our cake on the first tasting. The pricing was great. We even got military discount since we were both active duty. The cake was moist and delicious. We didn't have anything left over except our top layer.

Cathy at BoCakes was wonderful to work with. The cake tasting was the best tasting experience we had during the process. She gives you a tray with all of her difference cake flavors and fillings. You can then mix and match to your heart's content. In addition to this great service, her cakes tasted the best! She was open to all of our decorating questions and told us to simply send her a picture of what we wanted. The week before the wedding, we were so busy that we never had a chance to follow up with her and make sure everything was on track. Thankfully it was unnecessary! She knew (from our picture) exactly what we wanted and she coordinated with our florist (fresh flowers were on the cake). The cake looked just as good as it tasted. Our only regret is that we didn't get to have more than one slice. We would recommend her to anyone!

Kathy at Bo Cakes knows how to sell her cake! I had no idea what to expect when we made our appointment and she really impressed us! We were seated in a beautifully lit decorated room with a plate of 12 different types of cupcakes at each place setting. We had a lazy susan full of 12 different fillings and a selection of three different frostings. She served us coffee and water too! She explained every single thing that was in front of us, gave us a pad of paper and a pen and left us alone to decide what we liked and what we didn't. She wanted us to be free to converse amongst ourselves without her being there to make us uncomforatable. It was the most delicious experience! I thought her cake decoration choices were very elegant which was what we wanted although she had some whimsical choices too! She is a very talented artist and her cakes are amazing! Everyone commented on how moist the wedding cake was and also the variety of flavors. We had some leftover and it was great even on the third day!

I cannot say enough good things about Bocakes...they are completely affordable as well AND you get a 1 year anniversary cake in your package too so you dont have to worry about freezing your top layer! Kathy made my wedding and grooms cake perfectly! I wanted to make our grooms cake of our 2 dogs and she portrayed them perfectly!!! Everyone loved them, they stole the show! Our wedding cake was stunning, and was the best cake we have ever eaten! We had red velvet, was so moist and I wish I had a year supply! Kathy was so nice and made the wedding cakes of our dreams!

Cathy at Bo Cakes is fantastic. Cathy gave us a variety of cakes and fillings to choose from at our tasting appointment and gave us a lot of great options for each tier of our 3 tier cake. We picked a few styles we liked from photos she had of other cakes she did. Cathy was able to put everything we liked into our cake and it turned out beautiful. My guest loved the cake and said it was very very good.

This was the best vendor at my wedding! Kathy (the owner) was exceptionally friendly and exceeded our expectations. At the tasting, she did not have a sample of chocolate filling but I was confident it would be good. Kathy ended up making six different types of chocolate for us to choose from. Also, we wanted 2 little cupcakes made for our dads since our wedding fell on father's day and here is where she really blew us away. She made 2 small cakes - like 6 or 8 inches that matched our wedding cake. It was so touching, we really could not believe how much extra effort she put in. AMAZING! She was also reasonably price and of course, it tasted great, and the cake looked exactly like I had envisioned it in my mind. Highly recommended! I will use her for any occasion that I need a cake in the future without a doubt.

Kathy did a wonderful job at meeting our needs. We had so many different flavors and fillings. The outside of our cake was amazing! I couldn't have pictured it any better! I loved it and she was so nice to work with. All the other bakers in the area were much more expensive, not personable AT ALL, and wanted to charge an arm and a leg! THANK YOU FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL CAKE!

The look of my cake was excellent and it tasted even better.;When I gave her my cake topper it was in one piece. The day of my wedding the Groom was missing his arm. She did not replace it or attempt to repair the damages. She could have at least called me or the emergency number i gave her so it could've been fixed.
