Boiler House

The Boiler House is a reception venue that hosts weddings and private events, situated in San Antonio, TX. Located on the grounds of a former brewery, this building offers a sophisticated and contemporary setting for receptions. The setting is rich in history, with the building itself dating back to 1894. It was formerly a working boiler house for the Pearl Brewery, and much of the original structure remains. The boiler space has been adapted to accommodate the venue's kitchen, while brickwork and metal fixtures are still visible throughout the dining room. This venue has not abandoned its roots and is home to an extensive range of locally brewed craft beers. The Boiler House offers a choice of indoor and outdoor event spaces, each one evoking a contemporary and industrial vibe. Lofty ceilings are crossed with iron beams, offset with hanging lights casting a warm glow throughout the room. Private dining areas are available on the first floor, with a balcony allowing guests to peer down at the festivities below. Semi-private spaces are available on both floors, including a stunning glass-walled private table. This property also offers an outdoor patio, with rustic wooden benches and strung with lights. Couples may reserve the entire facility for large groups, or mix and match different event spaces and areas to accommodate guests. This venue can accommodate up to 250 guests. Cuisine will be provided by the in-house culinary team led by Chef Jarrad Gwaltney. This chef is passionate about serving only the freshest food combined with a vivid imagination and outstanding flavor. Couples will have a range of packages to choose from, with options including brunch, dinner and hors d'oeuvres, desserts, platters and stations. Guests may enjoy dishes such as barrel-cut filet mignon or crab-stuffed Atlantic salmon. Libations will also be taken care of by the venue staff with over 120 fine wines to choose from. A selection of champagnes, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks are available. A team of dedicated staff will be on hand to serve the food and drinks. This venue can also provide rental items, for the couple’s convenience.
