Bokeh Film Studios is a professional wedding photography studio located in Buffalo, NY. We know a few things about weddings. After all, we are a married couple! One of the things we remember about our wedding day is just how quickly it went. It was a bit of a blur to us, and by the end, we were wishing we had a better visual representation of the day to reflect on in the future. Since we started documenting weddings, we have perfected our craft and recognize that couples constantly want a reminder of their love and commitment to each other. That is what we are about at Bokeh Film Studios. Mike and Kristen are a husband and wife duo with almost a decade in the industry. They are passionate about capturing this new chapter in couples' lives and creating an album that will be cherished for years to come. The team take only 10-15 weddings per year as they like to spend time getting to know couples and their personalities. They offer a number of comprehensive wedding packages and are open to travelling nationally and internationally to capture your perfect day.

Mike and Kristen are one heck of a team and we're so happy to have picked them to document all our special moments! Not only did Kristen document our engagement but she did our wedding, maternity photos and newborn photos. Mike out did himself with our wedding video and we couldn't be more pleased! Would recommend them time and time again for any of your photo or video needs!

Mike and Kristen were absolutely amazing! They were essentially another set of wedding coordinators on the day of our wedding while also taking amazing pictures and videos! Our wedding party consisted of 10 people on each side, 20 in total, and they were able to get all of our group pictures and family photos in a short amount of time. They were always happy, always smiling and very much part of the party! The captured so many important moments for us that we’ll never forget and capture all of the small details! It should also be mentioned that they’re husband and wife, they coordinated extremely well together! Stephen and I couldn’t have asked for a better duo!

Mike and Kristen shot our wedding this past October and they are nothing short of amazing! The attention to detail they have and care for their clients is unmatched! They aren’t the cheapest but you will definitely get more than your moneys worth.

Where do I start!? With Mike and Kristen, not only are you getting an absolutely amazing and talented photo and video team but also imagine having your close friends without throughout all the meaningful moments of the day. I can’t say enough good things about them. We are obsessed with our photos and I still cry every time I watch the video, which is just so beautiful. Mike and Kristen kept us focused, grounded and moving through the day without being pushy or overwhelming. They listened to me when I was stressed and supported us all day and kept everything on time and flowing. I could go on and on and on but do yourself the favor of getting the most thoughtful and gifted team that will create timeless, gorgeous memories for you - in real life and on film!

We used Bokeh Film Studios as a videographer (we already had a photographer booked, or we would have used them for both.) Mike was fantastic to work with and even before meeting him in person, we just felt like we had known him for years. From helping with our timeline setup, to getting the right shots, to working with our photographer and guests, everything from our point of view seemed effortless and flowed so well. We also worked with Kade as a second shooter and he fit in so well with the guys. I highly recommend working with Bokeh Film Studio!

This review is long overdue but I'm so glad I stumbled across Bokeh Film Studios with Kristen and Mike! From our initial conversation it was clear that they were special and in this to make it the best experience for us as a couple! Kristen shot our engagement photo's first and then Mike and Kristen joined us on our mini-destination wedding in Lake Placid! The energy and support they bring is unlike anything I could have imagined - as the day got closer I was in pure panic mode putting together a timeline and they helped me through it! Sending me examples and ensuring I thought of every detail and the (real :)) time it would take from point A to point Z! The memories the captured were absolutely beautiful and something we will treasure for a lifetime!

Kristen is an amazing photographer.. so amazing that we have deemed her our “photographer for life.” She has done our engagement photos, family photos, wedding photos, maternity photos, and most recently, newborn and Christmas photos. She is absolutely incredible at what she does. She makes you feel so comfortable, and she is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work. You cannot go wrong if you hire Kristen for ANYTHING! The photos she has taken of us are displayed all throughout our house!

Kristen and Mike are BEYOND amazing! Prior to our wedding, Mike & Kristen were very communicative, always answered email quickly, and took the time to get to know us as a couple, both in person and over the phone. On our wedding day, they were very professional and found unique opportunities to capture shots and footage that we still treasure to this day. Our actual wedding day went by WAY too quickly, but we are so thankful to Bokeh Films for giving us the photos and videos to relive the day over and over! I am so grateful that we found Bokeh Films and I would suggest them to anyone who is in need a brilliant photographer and/or videographer! Hands-down one of the best wedding planning decisions we made.

Kristen and Mike are phenomenal to work with. Kristen shot our engagement photos, mini-mony photos and will be shooting our reception this upcoming summer along with Mike! She has always made me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera and knows all the perfect ways to capture the sweetest moments between us. Kristen and Mike have been responsive throughout the entire wedding process and are so helpful and kind! They have truly gone above and beyond as far as taking the time to get to know us as a couple as well as our vision for our wedding day in order to help make it come to life (long phone call, met us out for dinner, etc.)! They truly are the best and I can’t recommend them enough.

My goal is very much about capturing moments happening between people, little details that makes your day special, and the pure joy and happiness that comes from love between my couples. My style is very non-intrusive, this is your day and I am just here to document it as it unfolds naturally. Every wedding is so special and unique to each couple and I feel so honored to be a part of capturing the raw emotion and love. We think that photo & film are definitely one of the important things to consider when planning your wedding and we would be honored to be on your team!
