Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Bold City Classics musicians have performed over 900 events across the US. The band contracts to any type of event, bringing over 8 years’ experience and showmanship to you and your guests. Our cohesiveness, spirit, and positive energy allow our clients and audiences to relive moments through music while creating new memories. Bold City Classics offers an extensive repertoire of live music, MC services, recorded music, with sound and lighting equipment for events, including rehearsals and parties, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Each client gets personalized, one-on-one attention throughout the planning process, from choosing the best band size and configuration to planning the timeline and venue logistics. Most of our clients book the 10-piece group, but Bold City Classics can reduce in size or grow up to a full 20-piece band for larger venues and the ultimate WOW factor. nce floor all night. The Bold City Classics (great name) with their multiple horns, and 3 vocalists were the best live band performance that I’ve ever seen at a wedding reception. We are so glad that we hired Sarah and the band. The band had to learn a rendition of a song for the bride and groom dance……nailed it…….and the vocalist had to learn the Natalie Merchant song, Kind & Generous, and nailed it! If you haven’t had a chance to go listen to this band, you can find them, but with the time it takes to book spectacular bands, which everyone will remember (we had our family and guests of all ages coming up to us all night long, and letting my wife and I know how great the band is) at their wedding……just get them booked!

This band was so upbeat, lively, and read the crowd well at my nieces wedding in FL. Definitely made everyone forget about the torrential day long rains that impacted the outdoor tent venue. Music selection kept the dance floor packed all night...

ets, I instantly knew they were the ones. Not cheesy - just a passion for music and creating a FUN + welcoming environment. Not to mention the talent they have. We were blown away from the beginning. We were first put in touch with Sarah, who was always responsive and helpful - she put my mind at ease from the very start. The entire planning process was easy, and I had total trust in them to make our wedding dance floor perfect. And oh MAN they did. Out of all the positive comments about our wedding, the CTB took the cake. They had EVERYONE on the dance floor - even those who swore they wouldn't dance! Every single song fit the crowd perfectly, and no one wanted to leave! I can 100% say our wedding would not have been the same without them. We are grateful for the experience we had, and for the memories they gave us!

Everything was above and beyond perfect. The Band is second to none! Chris Thomas has an amazing charisma, he led the reception from beginning to end. He was so skilled that he even managed to get my 85 year old grandmother, who never danced a day in her life, out on the dance floor! My only complaint was that it had to come to an end! Everyone asked if they would travel and if they could book themselves for an event in the future. I would highly recommend to anyone. shifted the performance time back an hour about three weeks before our wedding which was very helpful to us! We had some special song requests and they learned them and absolutely perfected our requests! Chris knows all types of songs from Sinatra to Taylor Swift and performs them all incredibly well! They will have everyone on the dance floor all night. Chris and the bands energy just flows through out the event! There is no other band we would have wanted to be there on our special day. Manager / Founder/ Saxophonist Sarah has worked with over 500 clients from weddings to corporate events and theatre performances. She guides each couple every step of the way starting with the planning process through every detail on their wedding day! As a musician she knows exactly what is required for an event whether it's logistics, sound and lighting design, or finding music for the first dances. She specializes in making every couple feel completely at ease and confident with choosing Bold City Classics!
