Our wedding had a good mix of Indian and American guests, and we were playing Indian music as much as American music, and the lesson DJ Prashant gave really helped to get the crowd going, and comfortable. He was good with generally getting people on the dance floor, except for once or so (when it got really hot, and people left the floor), but he wasn't quick to change the music to get the crowd to come back, we ourselves had to physically bring people back. In terms of must play songs etc, he generally hit the big ones we requested, but didn't hit everything, so you have to be very specific about what songs you absolutely want played etc. For instance, there wasn't much salsa music although we had requested them. He isn't going to help with cutting music or making a mix for a dance routine you are doing in the reception or anything like that, so if you want that, need to negotiate with him during the contract signing phase. During our ceremony, the priest and the Prashant were just not not in sync, and that's large part due to the priest going off the rail and confusing him with the sequence of the rituals, and I realized that i needed to have someone that knows the rituals and the appropriate songs to be played during then next to Prashant for things to go smoothly. He was pleasant to work with, and tried to accommodate us for the ceremony even though we had informed him late that we needed him. Generally, the guests enjoyed DJ Prashant
