Exceeded all our expectations! Wonderful to work with.
Bonanzaville was wonderful from the start. We ran into Ashley Boyko (their wedding coordinator prior to 2015) and she got all the paperwork squared away and payment.
Even after...
some staffing changes - things went swimmingly! My decorator was able to come in as early as the Monday before the wedding and start decorating.
One this to improve is the airconditioning. The Event Center (which we used) is the only meeting area that has AC. I was told by multiple people on wedding day that the air was set to 70*. I had asked previously to have it set to 62* beings there would be nearly 300 people. My recommendation - have someone you know and trust (not Bonanzaville workers) go in and set the thermastat lower so that by the tmie people get there you aren't playing catch up on the air.
Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Our guests got to tour the grounds, there was ease of access to the venue... It was wonderful!
We had our wedding at the church at Bonanzaville and it was beautiful! Small church but it fit everybody. We then had our reception at Dawson Hall and could not of been happier wit...
h it. We had a rustic theme and Dawson Hall went right with the theme.
For the most part, I am happy with my wedding at Bonanzaville. I just had my ceremony in their church, and the best part is how beautiful it is. It's such a unique location, and my...
guests loved it, and being able to wander the museum afterward was a big plus. We took various photos afterward in the church, balcony, outside gazebo and around the other buildings, and it's a beautiful backdrop. The venue was easy to work with and let us do what we wanted with few restrictions, which was nice, like setting up early and tearing down late, blocking off the church for us the whole day even though we only used it for half, etc. My only slight complaint was sometimes communication was more delayed than I would like, but they did always eventually get back and were pretty helpful. I'd definitely recommend!
