Bonita Gabrielle Photography

My husband and I spent a lot of time researching photographers, and both fell in love with Bonita’s work, from her framing and composition to her filters and overall style. My husband and I can feel awkward in front of the camera, so we were somewhat nervous leading up to our engagement shoot. Meeting and working with Bonita during this shoot assuaged all our discomfort with being photographed; she helped us relax and focus on each other rather than the camera, which allowed our personalities and relationship to shine through in our photos. She helped pose us in flattering angles and light for some images, and caught some excellent candid moments in others--altogether a great balance of the two, where we never felt either completely posed or caught off guard. She scoped out the location in advance and had picked a number of beautiful locations in the park we had selected, so we were able to proceed between a nice variety of settings in a short time. The timing she picked for the shoot was also ideal, as we were able to get shots in a nice variety of lighting, from late afternoon through golden hour into dusk. With such a great experience working with Bonita for our engagement shoot, we knew she would be perfect for shooting our wedding. And perfect she was! She brought the same level of professionalism and skill to the wedding--scoping the area ahead of time, shooting a great combination of posed and candid pictures, and capturing the setting, guests, and key moments of the wedding with excellent composition, color, and style. She was able to get an incredible amount of coverage for someone working alone, and as a result we have a beautiful collection of photos to more crisply remember details of a day that went by in such a blur.

Can it really get any better than Bonita?! Honestly, my only complaint is that I didn’t find her soon enough to book her for my wedding in Knoxville!! We flew back home to Washington for a vacation and wanted to get a couple shoot done and found out about Bonita through a friend. After countless stalking on her Instagram, I realized she was the perfect fit for what I was envisioning from our shoot. She not only exceeded my expectations, but got bonus points for being just a gr8 human being! My husband usually has a rough time around photographers (he can pretty awkward) - but she managed to make him feel more comfortable and catch some of the most natural/romantic pictures of us that I have ever gotten from a photo shoot. Seriously cannot recommend her enough :)

Bonita is an outstanding photographer and human being. There truly aren't enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was with her as our photographer and how much we love her. She traveled to Oregon to photograph my husband and I's first wedding anniversary. She was extremely kind and very professional. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera and our photos turned out AMAZING. My husband has been raving about our awesome experience and photos for months now. They are our favorite photos we've ever had taken and we've had an excessive amount of photo sessions ha! I HIGHLY recommend booking Bonita for any of your photo needs!!

BOOK THIS AWESOME LADY! I look at my wedding photos about once a day because they are so amazing. She captured all of the love surrounding our wonderful day. From the little details we had worked on to great family photos. BEST OF ALL, she made us feel so comfortable. My husband does not like to be photographed and she made it so easy as pie. We were laughing through most of it. There is not way for me to pick a favorite because they are all so great. Thank you so much for capturing our perfect day.
