and and I can feel awkward in front of the camera, so we were somewhat nervous leading up to our engagement shoot. Meeting and working with Bonita during this shoot assuaged all our discomfort with being photographed; she helped us relax and focus on each other rather than the camera, which allowed our personalities and relationship to shine through in our photos. She helped pose us in flattering angles and light for some images, and caught some excellent candid moments in others--altogether a great balance of the two, where we never felt either completely posed or caught off guard. She scoped out the location in advance and had picked a number of beautiful locations in the park we had selected, so we were able to proceed between a nice variety of settings in a short time. The timing she picked for the shoot was also ideal, as we were able to get shots in a nice variety of lighting, from late afternoon through golden hour into dusk. With such a great experience working with Bonita for our engagement shoot, we knew she would be perfect for shooting our wedding. And perfect she was! She brought the same level of professionalism and skill to the wedding--scoping the area ahead of time, shooting a great combination of posed and candid pictures, and capturing the setting, guests, and key moments of the wedding with excellent composition, color, and style. She was able to get an incredible amount of coverage for someone working alone, and as a result we have a beautiful collection of photos to more crisply remember details of a day that went by in such a blur.

on for a vacation and wanted to get a couple shoot done and found out about Bonita through a friend. After countless stalking on her Instagram, I realized she was the perfect fit for what I was envisioning from our shoot. She not only exceeded my expectations, but got bonus points for being just a gr8 human being! My husband usually has a rough time around photographers (he can pretty awkward) - but she managed to make him feel more comfortable and catch some of the most natural/romantic pictures of us that I have ever gotten from a photo shoot. Seriously cannot recommend her enough :)

She got up at 2:30 am, drove us to the trail head, hiked up with us, and shot photo's for hours! re was a work of art and she really cares about her couples. Bonita photo shopped our beloved Golden Retriever Rosie into one of our wedding photos and I almost cried! Its little touches like this that make you feel like your special day really matters to her. I never felt like there were dozens of other couples and I had to fight for her time. (She really did have 5 weddings in 9 days!) We got all our photos on time and she was quick to respond to all our questions.
Bonita is also extremely easy to talk with and made taking photos much more relaxing and fun which in turn made the photos better! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
Besides the amazing photos and personality, the pricing was extremely reasonable. We loved that not only was the price reasonable but we didn't have to pick and choose our photos, she let us have access to them all! It's been so fun for us to choose photos for our picture frames and I love the option of getting to pick from hundreds of amazing photos.
