Post-wedding, two of the most common comments we got were how great the vibes were and how great the music was...both of which were curated by DJ Royale (Jordan). As an interracial couple, we had a diverse group of wedding guests; and I wasn't sure we would be able to figure out a playlist that got everyone excited to be on the the dance floor. I fully underestimated how skilled DJ Royale would be at reading the room and encouraging everyone to dance.
We were also looking for some live music during cocktail hour, and Jordan gave us several great, fairly priced options for the upscale jazz cocktail lounge vibe we were looking for. Due to the band Jordan put together for us, cocktail hour felt sexy and luxurious, exactly what we were looking for.
The Bonita Sound team was also very organized. They had a website where you could slot in specific songs to be played. We engaged in shared decision-making, talking over song selection and vibes for each part of the wedding day (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail, dinner, speeches, introductions, etc). I truly appreciated their patience, guidance, and ability to put my vision (which I struggled to communicate) into words and then action.
I WILL be hiring Bonita Sound for any events I have in the future, no question about it!

He has a great presence and takes his job seriously while still having a good time. His equipment set up was polished and his communication during the planning process was professional and personable. Everyone danced for the entirety of our after party reception, which is exactly what we wanted. Jordan knew how to read the room and keep a vibe going that had everyone enjoying themselves. His music selections catered to multiple generations simultaneously with friends and older relatives on the dancefloor all evening. We were impressed by Jordan’s transitions and nuanced song selections, showing that he took care in curating our evening's music and listening to our preferences. ghtly. I am an extreme type A groom who worried about every little detail- music to me and my family was a HUGE deal. Our wedding was a joining of two families from two different backgrounds (Colombian and Italian) alongside having a large group of young people who are particular with their music- to say I was stressed was an understatement. I didn't want to ignore some cultures music and only focus on others/ I wanted it to be as fluid as possible (I didn't want all the Colombians up only for the Colombian music and then the young people only up with the EDM/hip hop music, etc.) Then came DJ Shino to the rescue, easing my stress and immediately talking me off the ledge. I left everything in his hands and I am SO happy I did. I have had NUMEROUS friends/family members ask me where I found my DJ, telling me that our party is the best party they have been to in years and that they haven't danced like that in years etc. People did not want the party to end!!!!! My wife and I did not sit down for a single second. Our dance floor was packed at all times. If you are looking for a sign on who to pick for whatever your event is THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO PICK BONITA SOUND AND DJ SHINO. He will knock your party out of the park!!! The dance floor was packed all night with guests of all ages. Multiple people reached out during the wedding and after to ask me who the DJ was and that he was the best wedding DJ they’ve ever seen! I was a huge dork and couldn't stop giving him thumbs up from the dance floor, he was so good. They're not just pressing play on a playlist, Jordan actively read the room and energy. - matched it when it made sense and bumped it up to get things going. He also graciously emceed our reception and was perfect, the farthest thing from a cheesy DJ and helped the night flow seamlessly. I also HIGHLY recommend getting some live musicians along with DJ, we had sax and congas players for part of our night and it was so much fun!! The musicians were so nice and such great sports because they let me and my husband play the congas. We had a good laugh and really fun pictures! DON'T HESITATE TO BOOK! Nail them down, they are seriously the best.

Half of our guests were native Spanish speakers with varying degrees of English understanding and he curated a flow that catered to both the Spanish and English guests. He even made sure to switch between languages over the course of the night. Afterwards, several guests commented on how connected he was to the mood of the room through the music. I cannot thank Shino enough for taking the time and effort to make it the best night. His passion and love of music is palpable and we're so glad he was part of our wedding celebration.

He was very attuned to the kind of music we wanted to hear - a mix of hip hop, afrobeats, motown and salsa - and checked in frequently to make sure we were happy. We had the dance floor going for 2+ hours and I don't think it would've stopped if our wedding wasn't ending. Our friends continue to send us rave reviews about the music. Not only does Jordan have impeccable taste, but he managed to keep our dance floor of cross-cultural guests moving all night. We had multiple people tell us our wedding was the best party they've ever been to! And when the last group of dancers wanted to stay past closing time, Jordan gladly stuck around and pulled out a few more songs.
We threw a lot of last-minute changes at Jordan, including our first dance and a hastily-organized live performance, and he handled both with professionalism and ease. To top it off, Jordan is just a great guy to work with, and made my wife and I feel comfortable through the entire process. If you're looking for a unique, fun, sexy vibe at your wedding or event, Jordan and Bonita Sound can't be beat.

We got married in a remote forest in the Poconos with several different areas we needed music, and he was able to set up everything so the music was perfect the entire time. He was a hit with our guests, everyone raved about the music, and just a genuine delight of a human being to work with. If you're looking for a DJ who gets it, and gets you, and knows how to make the party an absolute blast, he is your guy! My husband and I felt truly cared for by Jordan before, during, and after the wedding. ique flavor, which is exactly what Jordan did. We did not want the Cha Cha Slide, Sweet Caroline, YMCA vibe that many other wedding DJs offer. We loved that Jordan is a part of the Philly music scene and we even had a chance to go to two of his events before our wedding! We met with Jordan several times before the wedding, and he did a great job asking us questions to get a feel for our taste. We also added on a saxophone player (Dahi), who was amazing and hands down one of the best last minute additions to our wedding! Absolutely incredible and really helped create the vibe we were going for. Our dance floor was filled throughout the night and everyone was having a blast. Jordan even took a few videos from his vantage point throughout our day, which he sent to us for some additional memories! 10/10 would recommend!

He worked with us to curate a lineup of incredible musicians including Brian Fitzy an elite electric violinist to play during the ceremony and reception. Brian worked with us to build a ceremony set that was true to us and not traditional (thx for the Haim Brian!!) The party was an absolute blast and Jordan and team kept the energy up with a variety of tunes that appealed to all crowds.

d exceptional ability to “play to the crowd” and you’ll have people telling you they’ve never danced that much at a wedding before. That’s what all of our friends and family told us.
After meeting Jordan in person at a friend’s event, we knew immediately he was our guy. Then a few months before the wedding we had a meeting to talk about what we wanted and what didn’t want. We made a few playlists for him to glance at for a general idea and then we asked him to use his creativity to mix in some stuff he thought we’d love in the moment. SUCH A GREAT TIME. Everyone told us how much they loved his music, his transitions, and just the right amount of mic time to keep things moving.
