l. We looked at a number of locations around the Miami area (and visited/considered some for a summer wedding in the Hudson valley), and The Bonnet House had everything we were looking for. I’m gonna jump past how pretty it is (IT’S AMAZINGLY PRETTY) except to say that you don’t need to spend as much on flowers given the overwhelming number of flowers/nature that already exists on the grounds. Oh, also, there’s a timelessness to it. Also also, the artwork makes it a little weird in the absolute best way. Bonnet House's service was exceptional. Before the wedding: They were great at coordinating with other vendors. Walking through everything was easy and David was amazingly warm while still not wasting words (just a great individual to work with). During the wedding: The guides were phenomenal at getting guests to the ceremony area and back to the parking lot or other entrances at the end of the night. Also, they were very accomadating at leaving a car overnight, and allowing things to be picked up the next day. I can’t endorse Bonnet House enough - all three segments of the night (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) were perfect spaces for their purposes, and the staff at the Bonnet House continued with wonderful service. A special shoutout to David - he was really great to work with. P.S. For reference, we live in NYC, so we had to make 2 trips down for [looking at venues] and [running through checklists about a month before], and then we also did a walkthrough on Friday before the Saturday wedding. Our wedding was 123 people, and I think Bonnet can easily hold 150 (maybe more if needed). The only rain concern would be the ceremony, but if it had to have been on the dance floor it would have still been great (it didn’t look like it was gonna rain so we didn’t get a tent (and luckily didn’t need one)).

o the Bonnet House we knew we had found our venue. The staff there are absolutely amazing and helped us every step of the way. We didn’t hire a wedding planner as we did the ceremony only package. David and his team helped coordinating during the rehearsal and day of wedding. Everything went smoothly during the wedding. Thank you David and the rest of the team at the Bonnet House!!

rofessional, a true wedding venue. They were SO accommodating to me and my family, and so great the day of. I cannot recommend this venue enough. I got so many complements from my guests. This place is SO unique. I can't say enough amazing things.

the tour, we inquired about the possibility of renting the property for our wedding venue. This was prior to our engagement! It was the only decision we were ever sure about and it truly was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. The Bonnet House provided us with a whimsical garden theme and the elegance of The Great Gatsby we were looking for. Our wedding was truly a fairytale and our guests were so happy to be there. Equally wonderful was the events manager David and all the volunteers of the Bonnet House. Everything was seamless and by far the easiest part of wedding planning. It was such a pleasure working with the Bonnet House team who truly made the experience a dream come true. We cannot wait to go back to visit!

rovided the perfect backdrop for our vision of a romantic, elegant garden wedding. We were hesitant to spend such a chunk of the budget on the venue, but it was well worth it. Our guests adored the location and I heard from more than one that they adored the place and it made them feel "transported in time"- and, truly, this place is its own magic hidden spot. Aside from the beauty of The Bonnet House, I cannot finish this review without mentioning Nicholle Maudlin, the Events Director at The Bonnet House. From day one she was extremely helpful and sweet, and all of the staff and volunteers went above and beyond. We recommend this venue whole-heartedly!

earby. We were hoping to find a place that would match the earthy, vintage, organic feel we wanted to create for our event and once we saw the Bonnet House we knew we had found the perfect venue. This venue has it all - limestone facades, bright colors, tropical foliage, swans, monkeys... the list goes on and on... The event manager, Nicholle, made sure every detail was taken care of and the museum volunteers made sure that our affair went off without a hitch! We chose to bring in our own caterer which was also a big plus for us - we had the opportunity to use a caterer we knew and trusted. If you are looking for an old Florida flair, beach access and lush tropical gardens for your wedding, Bonnet House is just for you!

a south Florida outdoor wedding somewhere else. The staff is incredible and very professional. They have done many weddings there and everything ran very smoothly. They don't nickle and dime you along the way, and they put a lot of effort into the overall production. I was extremely pleased with them from every aspect.

day ran so smooth. Since i didn't have a wedding coordinator, nicholle went above and beyond. Even though they had another wedding that day, I was never rushed or felt less important. Not only was nicholle great, but the volunteer staff is just as amazing. So sweet and all my guests commented on how super nice they were. The photos turned out beautiful. My wedding was in november so the weather was beautiful. One word of advice, around the end of summer, the place was super buggy due to all the rain. That is pretty much the norm in south fla, but just a heads up

acility justice, but once I visited, I knew this was the place I've always dreamed of. Nicholle, the event manager, is amazing to work with. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in 3 different spaces, so that guests got the feel of the property. It was stunningly beautiful before we decorated at all! We did one of their all inclusive packages, but the property can be rented without the use of their caterer as well. Overall, we were very satisfied, and the pictures could not have been any more gorgeous!!!

d in Fort Lauderdale, had never been!!! It's still a beach "wedding" and easily accessible to everything including your hotels and beaches and activities of Fort Lauderdale. Nicole, the events planner at the Bonnet House, and all of the volunteers really help you out the day of your wedding!! It's amazing. It's such a different venue, I highly recommend checking this place out!!
