Mark provided everything we asked for and more. Anyone with the right equipment can play music. Mark was perfect as the master of ceremonies which is really what you need to keep the reception moving along. We provided a script of events (announce the wedding party, toasts, dinner, etc.) and he made it all happen seamlessly. The best compliment is that everything went smoothly and the guests hardly noticed him. The guests are there for the celebration, not to have the DJ try to be the star. The other nice thing was that he met with us twice to go over the song selections and order of events. He had some good suggestions on items we could not decide on. He played nice dinner music and then picked it up when the dancing started. We gave him a list of "must-play" songs and also songs not to play, even if requested by someone. He also will take or not take audience requests based on your direction. If there is a song you want that he does not already have in his extensive collection he will download it for you. You can't go wrong if Mark is your DJ!!

Mark was great!! Played all the songs we requested and kept people dancing! Our timeline got a little delayed and he just went with the flow! I HIGHLY recommend him!

I found Mark Bouchek from Booch-X Entertainment as a preferred vendor on the Knot and although no one I asked had used him, I booked him anyway. So glad I did!! We didn't meet until the week before the wedding and I provided all the songs that were "must play" as well as the songs that were off limits. I encouraged him to allow guests to request songs but no matter what not to play the off limit songs which he honored. Unfortunately he didn't play all of the "must play" songs but the dancefloor was packed all night so I can't complain. He really works with you as a bride and I couldn't be happier with the playlist that night.
