I'm comfortable entertaining any event from high school prom's to 50th anniversary celebration, yet also diverse enough to lead preschoolers in a game of red light green light or give a rousing introduction for the grand entry to a wedding party. Matt and Boogie Time were absolutely incredible!
We had the package where everything was included, and we would recommend that package to everyone! That package came with a photobooth (A HUGE HIT AMONGST GUESTS!!!) We received so many compliments that people really loved it, and we used the photo strip print outs as our party favors. Not only did the guests love it, but Matt then made us a guest book/scrap book with everyone's photo strips and hand written messages on it. We will cherish this book forever, now I just wished we would've taken more photos in the booth!!!
I am a very "type A" person (and bride) so it was hard for me to give the reins to someone else on the day of my wedding, but I trusted Matt, and boy, he did NOT disappoint. Matt has so much experience, that he can also act a little bit like your built-in wedding planner. He was so helpful during our ceremony and reception to keep things moving along, and running smoothly- a total lifesaver!
As far as prepping for your big day, Boogie Time gives you access to an app where you can create the perfect playlist- that he will ACTUALLY play at your wedding! Matt was sure to update me on how many more of my "must play" songs were left on my wedding day which I appreciated. He was sure to play everything on our "must play" lists as well as stayed away from any and all songs on our "do not play" list.
Matt is so easy to work with and communicates so well. If you have problems or questions whether it be 6 months before your event, or even during your party, he'll be there at the drop of a hat. I seriously cannot express enough gratitude towards him.
If you are considering booking with Boogie Time or Matt specifically, this is your sign to do it. Guests usually don't remember the small details of the day, but they do remember if they had fun on the dance floor, a fun photobooth, and a sound system that they could hear everything from vows during the ceremony to speeches at dinner. Boogie Time will not disappoint!!!

Hiring Matt as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we booked him, his communication, organization, and genuine excitement for our day made the entire process feel easy. He didn’t just play music, he helped guide the flow of the whole event.
He kept our timeline on track and made the ceremony, grand entrance, and reception feel smooth and effortless. Our guests also loved him, and the dance floor stayed packed all night!
On top of that, he was kind, funny, and brought so much life and energy into our day. We couldn’t imagine our wedding without him.

We had Vincent DJ our wedding in August, and he was absolutely PHENOMENAL. It poured during our ceremony—like, a full-on downpour—but he didn’t miss a beat. He kept the music flowing perfectly, adjusted to the chaos + transition like a pro, and somehow made everything feel seamless. Once the reception started, he kept the energy up all night, reading the room and making sure the dance floor was never empty. Vincent was incredibly easy to work with, super professional, and just an all-around great vibe. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to accompany us! 🤍

Matt was an absolute dream to work with as our DJ. From our very first conversation, we knew he was the perfect fit. He puts so much love and passion into his work, and it shows in every detail.
What truly stood out was how much he cared about making our wedding personal and unique to us. He was always available to answer our questions and added thoughtful touches that meant so much—like having us record voiceovers for each other and incorporating them into our first dance. I still cry every time I hear it.
Matt went above and beyond to make sure our day was stress-free and perfect. When I forgot an extension cord for the photo backdrop during setup, he immediately said not to worry and handled it himself. Throughout the night, he kept checking in to make sure we were taken care of.
Our guests haven’t stopped raving about him—he kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night! We’re so glad we chose Matt and would recommend him 100%.

We were in search of a DJ for our wedding. Naturally, neither of us really knew where to begin. How do you choose a company or person with 0 knowledge of them prior? We ended up choosing Matt as our DJ based upon someone else’s recommendation.
Let me tell you- he was everything we could have dreamed one million times over.
From initial points of contact, random emails/texts or zoom meetings in between, through every crucial part of your big day, to the very end & after - this man dedicates himself 10,000% to figuring out YOU as the power couple you are. Sometimes you don’t even really chat about music, it’s more life, past times or what you’re most looking forward to about the future.
If you’re anything like me and have a vision, but can’t quite sum up words on how to bring it to life - don’t worry. He’s got your back and then some.
He can entertain like no other, keeping guests of ALL ages (literally toddlers to grandparents) invested and having a blast at the same time.
Matt is truly magical, so incredibly smart and obviously hilarious. His entire heart and soul is breathed in to YOUR day. Yes, this man is busy and does a lot of events. Don’t fret, when the prep goes in to your day it’s not skimped one bit. From start to finish he made our whole day more “US” than I could have ever imagined.
If you’re even remotely on the fence to choose him or not, DO. NOT. HESITATE.
PLEASE choose Matt, he’s worth every penny. I’d choose him time and time again if I could.

Huge shout out to Boogie Time Entertainment and Matthew Brulla for making our special day absolutely perfect! From the moment we contacted him to the day of the event, Matt was always just a text away and always answered immediately. Matt is also an extremely talented musician in his own way and always puts his own little spin on every event. We loved that he could make every little thing feel even more special. From the speeches, calling out my maid of honor when she told him that she was so nervous that she was gonna 💩 herself, and letting me playing music with my Pringle covered fingers 🤣. it was great having a guy that we could put everything into his hands and not have to worry about anything for our big day. Matt was great and showed us that he truly wanted to learn about us and our family, he used that to make our day feel more personal and feel like it was truly for us and our family. he had a thought job helping us celebrate not only our wedding but the memories of our loves ones not able to be there, and the continues love of 40 years my parents to show us what it truly means. great job we will for sure go with you again.

I'm a teacher and I organize my school's prom each year. This is my second time working with Matt. After our first year with him, I had countless students and parents ask, "can we please have the same DJ??" because he was SO awesome. He could read the crowd, he knew how to hype them up, and he accommodated everyone the best he could. He is thoughtful about all kinds of students and all kinds of music taste - but at the same time, knows how to keep the whole room entertained and engaged! Truly, our prom is better because of him, and students genuinely love him. He is so quick to respond to emails, very thoughtful about the little details, and also just hilarious and so genuine. An amazing human being who is truly skilled at what he does! Highly recommend working with him!

Love, love, love! Matt did such an excellent job at my daughter's wedding. He kept everyone dancing and laughing. I had several guests ask me the name of the DJ and one guest even mentioned to my new son-in-law that Matt was the best DJ he had ever experienced! Highly recommend!!!

We had Boogie Time for our wedding. Matt was the DJ. He consulted us prior to our wedding to make sure every detail was worked out. He worked through venue electrical challenges without missing a beat or making me sweat! Our guests certainly had fun because of the music! I just love when I show up to officiate a wedding and Boogie Time Entertainment is there! I know that the sound will be quality and their guests will be thoroughly entertained. I also know that they offer a variety of microphones for the ceremony, allowing me to give the couple an even better experience. Highly recommend, especially Matt. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! The one thing my husband was concerned about for the wedding was the music. Matt made sure that all of the music my husband wanted played was included (even a few songs from my husbands band). He met with us before the wedding to make sure he understood us as a couple and that really shined through on our wedding day. Matt was so energetic and got the guests really into the party! I still have family and friends complimenting us on what a fantastic job he did/how much fun they had. Thank you so much!

Matt was absolutely wonderful! We booked him for our wedding day 6/24/2023. He went above and beyond, taking videos throughout the day and ensuring that everyone had a great time. He was able to contain the guests on their phones before the ceremony even started, which was truly appreciated. He kept the party going all night long. We also booked the photobooth option, and it was worth every penny! We received a scrapbook of pictures from the evening and the guests were able to write on the pages that their pictures from the booth were in. It was a highlight of the aftermath of our wedding for sure. He was funny and fit right in with our crowd. 1000/10 would recommend him for any wedding or get together.

I had THE BEST experience with Boogie Time Duke. Before booking, the manager called me and was super personable and helped me get even more excited for my reception. When it came time for the wedding, our DJ Andy called us about specifics to make sure he understood everything we wanted, and he made sure to respond quick to any last minute texts. Now the day of the wedding, Andy was the best. He played music we liked, read the room well, was flexible, and overall fun! We could not have had a better experience with everything. It really made our reception a night to remember!

The new owner Matt was amazing to work with. He was persistent and informational. He shared his recommendations when I asked and was very friendly. Pete was our DJ and he played all requests and always had our friends and family on the dance floor. They showed up on time and were extremely professional. We also got the Photo Booth, which turned out perfectly! Our son spent all night either dancing our taking pictures. I can’t wait to see the photo book!

My husband and I were so lucky to have Andy as our DJ! He is the nicest and most accommodating person. He genuinely seemed so happy the entire day and that his focus was for us to be happy as well. Music selection was great and he really listened to what we wanted for our special day. He even took some photos on his phone of candid moments that are some of our favorites! Above & beyond 100%. Also our guests loved the photo booth and Boogie Time Duke sent us a photo album with the photos & messages handwritten from our guests. Andy did not disappoint. I attended a friends wedding 4 years ago (with Andy as the DJ) and knew that I wanted him to be the DJ at my wedding. I booked them about 1.5 years before our wedding, had minimal conversations up until the week before the wedding. They are very personable and easy to work with. My dance floor was PACKED all night!

Peter was the BEST! We couldn't have asked for a better night. Everyone was always on the dance floor and the fun never stopped. He played all the songs requested and was very easy going. I would recommend him to everyone.

Andy Lorge with Boogie is very fun and easy to work with, and the uplighting that Boogie provides really increases the ambiance. The only problem we had was getting a scheduled time to work with the DJ. We were told we had to wait until the week of the wedding to plan. The photo booth was also a fun option that the guests seemed to enjoy .

Andy Lorge with Boogie Time Duke was an amazing DJ. He really listened to what we wanted and everyone seemed to enjoy his music choices. The best part about this company, however, was that they offered uplighting for my venue. The reception was held at a venue in Sheboygan (Boogie Time Duke is also, but weddingchannel.com doesn't acknowledge that as a city...go figure) and there is NO place in Sheboygan that offers uplighting. I came to them with this request, and they made it happen! It was such a magical moment when the lights changed color during our first dance.
