DJ Randy Main was the best! My wife and I met with him prior to the wedding and reception, and he created a playlist based on what songs we liked (also didn't play songs we hate). I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a wedding coming up.

We had an amazing experience with our wedding DJ, Randy. We selected a handful of songs we wanted played, but otherwise trusted him with the rest of the playlist and to feel the crowd. He did not disappoint! Randy was very responsive to all our communications, whether it was the initial contact, six months out, or less than a month before the wedding. He also recorded video from throughout the night, capturing the energy on the dance floor. Randy was incredibly upbeat and energetic, serving as the perfect hype man for the bride and groom. He also worked seamlessly with our other vendors.

Jake was the DJ for our wedding reception and he did such an amazing job from start to finish. When we met with Jake to go over our reception details, we were already so burned out by wedding planning, Jake took all of our concerns and worries away - when we weren't sure which song to pick for xyz, or how to approach a certain part of the evening - he was ready to go with lots of incredible suggestions and just put both of our minds at ease. We relied on him for a lot of the decision making in the final stretch before our wedding day and he did not disappoint - our wedding was so incredible, we appreciate Jake & the Book That DJ crew more than we can say with words alone, thanks for being a part of our incredible day and making it so much fun!!!!!!! For our wedding, we booked with Randy for an additional fee and it was worth it! We had a meeting to go over desired songs, songs we didn't want played, and timing and he nailed it all! He really felt out the crowd and had a great flow. He honored our wishes of no requests unless it came from the bride or groom. In addition, we had these crowd sync bracelets that required additional equipment to manage and he assisted with no hesitation. As a very detailed bride, coordination and organization between vendors was very important to me and I felt confident in his abilities to DJ and help our vision come to life. For me the music (especially in the ceremony) was practically the only thing I cared about. He gave suggestions, but in the end was on board for my vision. The timing, volume fillers were right on point. He is Super easy to work with. The way you can personalize your music with them online is so nice, but the parts I didn’t care as much about he just did his thing while always following my vibe. Super professional, but still always easy going. 1000% would recommend.

My husband and I got married in May and could not recommend Book That DJ more!! We had the honor of working with both Randy & Tyler and their expertise truly made the night run as smooth as possible. Their tools allow you to personalize your timeline and playlist, however they were easily able to pivot with any changes that needed made same day. Once the dance floor opened up it was rocking all night long! They completely understood our vibe and it was a dream to work with them. If you need a wedding DJ don’t look any further!

Book That DJ was extremely professional and easy to work with being an out-of-state bride. We were lucky enough to get connected with DJ Elo who showed his experience working weddings by bringing his town cordless microphone, two separate speaker systems (indoor and outdoor) AND came to our rehearsal to coordinate music timing. We had a American, Chinese, Moroccan and Berber wedding and RANDY was on point with every single part of our ceremonies. The music was tricky since every culture has a completely different style but Randy kept making it very simple for us to, he was flexible all along the way from meetings to rehearsal to every last minute modification, and there were many!! Randy was Awsome!! BookThatDJ online system is really nice and easy to use. If you don’t know what you want but have a vide that your aiming for they really turn out for you. We ended up not doing a lot the of the scheduled events for our wedding reception, everyone was just having too much fun to stop for events, but Randy adjusted quickly and worked with the flow of the party.

I don’t know where to start- Jason from Book That DJ was amazing. He ran our wedding reception so smoothly, from the walk-in, first dances, and the dance party. I'm not sure where to start, there are so many great things I could say! Choosing Book That DJ for our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made! We met Jason at a Bridal show in January 2019 and loved his energy. The other main selling points were the planning website and that they have back up DJ's, so they were the first vendor we picked. The planning site was so convenient, helpful, and easy to use.  Fast forward to October 2021, we FINALLY had our reception (thanks to Covid we had to postpone by a year). DJ Randy Main was our DJ and we met him the week of our wedding to go over our details. Randy was so easy to work with and gave us plenty of guidance for making decisions about all of the details and was open to all of the ideas we had.  Throughout the reception he always checked with us to make sure we were ready for each event before starting. We never felt pushed or rushed for anything and we still stayed on schedule for the most part. We really felt like his timing was perfect for everything! One of our requests (and one of my favorite parts of the day) was that "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast was played as dinner was being served. It was amazing and we had a lot of our guests tell us how amazed they were! Every song he played was amazing. I hate dancing and I was on the dance floor most of the night! My 75+ year old grandparents also killed it on the dance floor most of the night (even during Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-Lot😂). We had the time of our lives, it was honestly the most amazing day! We can't thank Randy enough for helping make it so amazing! We 100% recommend Randy Main and Book That DJ! 

Randy was amazing at reading the room and making our reception a party. He was great at taking cues from me and the bridal party when we needed to move the schedule around. There were a couple of hiccups but nothing that threw off the vibe of the night. Overall I loved my wedding and would definitely hire them again.

Jason, the owner of Book That DJ, was the DJ for our wedding and blew away our expectations with what he put together the night of! We hired Book That DJ after attending a wedding that they worked two years ago. Both times, they were great at getting people on the dance floor and bringing them back when they got drink refills. Jason was great at reading the room and knowing what type of music was going to work with the crowd and was quick to react as the night went on. We had DJ Matt from this company and he was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! We got many compliments from our guest that he was a great DJ. He played a lot of great dancing songs and knew how to keep the party going. We had many meetings with them so that he could get the feel of what we were going for.
