The planning site was so convenient, helpful, and easy to use.  Fast forward to October 2021, we FINALLY had our reception (thanks to Covid we had to postpone by a year). DJ Randy Main was our DJ and we met him the week of our wedding to go over our details. Randy was so easy to work with and gave us plenty of guidance for making decisions about all of the details and was open to all of the ideas we had.  Throughout the reception he always checked with us to make sure we were ready for each event before starting. We never felt pushed or rushed for anything and we still stayed on schedule for the most part. We really felt like his timing was perfect for everything! One of our requests (and one of my favorite parts of the day) was that "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast was played as dinner was being served. It was amazing and we had a lot of our guests tell us how amazed they were! Every song he played was amazing. I hate dancing and I was on the dance floor most of the night! My 75+ year old grandparents also killed it on the dance floor most of the night (even during Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-Lot😂). We had the time of our lives, it was honestly the most amazing day! We can't thank Randy enough for helping make it so amazing! We 100% recommend Randy Main and Book That DJ!

e DJ and we were so grateful for their attentiveness and flexibility. Every email, inquiry, etc. was promptly answered. My now husband and I have completely opposite work schedules, so we thought setting up meetings would be difficult and Andrew made sure to figure out a time that would work for us both which was much appreciated. We gave him a general idea of our taste in music and let him take the lead from there, and while we made it pretty clear we did not care at all for older music, he played some at the wedding anyway..... and we were SO glad he did!!! He also made sure to come and ask my permission when a questionable song was requested by a guest. Believe me when I tell you to trust your DJ. He was so good at reading the crowd and playing what everyone wanted to hear. Our dance floor was busy the whole night and even I couldn't keep myself off the floor! We decided we absolutely were not tipping vendors because of the money we had already spent, but at the end of the night we couldn't help but give Andrew a tip. I had a hard time picking songs for some of our specialty dances and he put together two lists of songs for me to sort through and it was so helpful! I didn't decide my father daughter dance until 2 days before the wedding and he didn't think anything of it. We got so many compliments from guests on how awesome Andrew was. We were in awe of the flexibility, professionalism, and overall outstanding customer service provided by Andrew and Book that DJ. I keep telling my husband that I'm going to book him for my next wedding too LOL. Thanks again for an awesome night Andrew!

n so we met with Jason a few days before our wedding, and he was so thorough! He covered every possible aspect of the reception, including a number of things we would never have thought of. He made sure to listen to what we were looking for, and he also had great tips and ideas! We really loved his reverse anniversary dance idea, and our guests did too! We thought it was perfect how Jason started off the night with a lot of the classic songs on our playlist and then transitioned to the more modern songs. In our initial meeting, Jason was so reassuring that he would handle anything that would come up the day off. When a few unexpected things did pop up the day of and threw our timing and such off, he did a great job getting everything back on track! He handled everything so smoothly. he understood exactly what we wanted in a DJ experience. From there, he kept in touch from time to time to make sure that our plans were solidified and if there were any questions that he could help answer. Roughly 2 months before our wedding, we received an email from Corey letting us know he would be the DJ that took care of us the night of the event. Any questions we had he answered promptly and made sure that he understood exactly what we were looking for. The night of our wedding was an experience was one for the record books. From the moment we walked in, Corey played song after song that guests were singing along to at dinner time. He helped us through the timeline of events, even though we were roughly 40 minutes behind schedule. He remained calm and collected and helped to put our minds at ease. Once the festivities began, there was not a single person in their seat the entire night. From start to finish, the dance floor was packed and no one wanted to leave! Corey was accommodating to all of our last second requests and took everything in stride, making sure that everyone was having an awesome time. After the reception, we have dozens and dozens of guests come to us and tell us that our reception was the most fun they’ve had in a long time, and that everything was perfect. So many of our guests complimented Corey’s music selection and said that they wished the reception would have never ended. Our experience with Book That DJ overall and the night of our wedding was incredible to say the least. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are that we went with this company for our DJ services. When we met with him he went over everything in detail & gave us suggestions on music & he was there if we had any questions during the planning. I'm a big baseball fan & our colors were Detroit tiger colors so we came up with an idea of baseball theme introductions & I emailed Owen about the idea & he said give me few days & I will come up with something and he did . He definitely kept the party going and the guest on the dance floor. When we watched our video & got to the reception part you could see everyone having a blast. One person said your DJ is on point . Our limo got us to the reception late but Owen still managed to make everything still run smooth . Adam at the end of the reception said "yeah I'm pretty sure we had the party of the year" haha & Owen was a big part of that . Thank you to Jason & Owen for being a part of that party of the year :).

He got our first drinks, made sure to communicate with us/the photographer so that we were all on the same page, and made great announcements to the crowd to let them know what was happening next. Then, after going through our song list and writing it all down, he got EVERYTHING wrong. The order of dances, the songs, everything. We were obviously displeased. When I called the owner to voice my concerns after our big day, he came up with excuses and never once apologized. I would NEVER recommend this company to a friend again. Do NOT book that dj! They claim to care, but once they have your money, they couldn't care less. It was the one low point of our wedding.

His main concern was making sure we were happy and comfortable with who our DJ was going to be. We seriously could not have gone with a better DJ company. Starting from the first visit with Jason, he just spits information at you without being pushy. He talks to you like he's known you forever! During our final consultation we went over every option of special dances. Anything that we said no to (like the dollar dance or anniversary dance) he would make a suggestion as to why we should do it, whether it be putting a spin on it, or just doing a different aspect. He really thinks outside the box and has creatively updated aspects of special dances. With the online planning tool Book That DJ provides we were able to organize a music playlist for every aspect of the night. Jason was able to play nearly every song we added to our love it and like it list. The dance floor was never empty. Speaking of that, if we were out on the dance floor and a special dance was coming up, Jason would dance his way up to us to let us know what was coming, then dance back to his booth. He just made things super simple and fun. We would 100% recommend Book That DJ to anyone for any event. Jason gave us a night we will never forget! The DJ was the most important aspect of the wedding besides my fiance and I actually getting married of course. My Dad even who used to be a professional DJ came up to me a few times and told me how great the DJ was. Seriously, go with Book That DJ, they are just fantastic!

imes not until the night before. When we went to the owner about this we finally had our meeting. When we final had our 2 meetings he was on his phone, disingenuous, and even swore at one point. Not professional. The day of the wedding ended up even worse. The first thing I found out upon arriving to my reception was that he was saying he was going to leave at 8:30 as opposed to the 10 o'clock agreed upon in our contract. He then tried to introduce the toasts before the meal. After the meal he skipped over my first dance and went straight to the father daughter dance. When we told him that he was skipping something he then played the wrong song. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. We had 2 meetings going over the timeline and song list, as well entering into their online program. Maybe if he had been on his phone less he would have gotten things straight. Beware what DJ you receive if you hire this company.
