Bookhouse Collective is a woman and LGBTQ-owned wedding-and-event still photography and motion picture film service with bases in Spring Lake, NJ, and Brooklyn, NY. Their trio of partners is happy to document events of all sizes, from intimate city hall ceremonies to extravagant destination weddings.
Jersey shore's lead partner, Andrew Zaeh, has years of experience as both a photographer, music video director and creative director. During his career, he has lensed major ad campaigns, photographed countless celebrities, and documented unique events worldwide for select clients. Andrew splits his time between Spring Lake and Brooklyn with his husband, Johnny, and their pet cockatiel, Goose (who truly rules the roost). When not working, Andrew can be found surfing the waves off Spring Lake....or surfing the couch with any number of streaming platforms he pays way too much money for.
Brooklyn-based partners Meredith Truax and Noa Griffel are accomplished photographers and directors as well serving the fashion, celebrity, and music markets in New York City when not working on Bookhouse events.
The team who has been working together since 2009 is happy to travel to venues throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, with package options available for destination weddings worldwide. They encourage starting with an engagement session to help you become more relaxed in front of the camera. On your big day, they will be ready to capture each moment that makes your milestone unique and memorable.

Collective turned out. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure working with Andrew and Noa for our destination wedding in my hometown of Buffalo, NY, and they were wonderful at every turn. at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Andrew and his team a joy to work with (and have at our celebration!) and the photos and videos are simply incredible! We had everyone arrive a few days early to enjoy the resort and prepare for the event. So when the big day arrived, the entire Bookhouse team felt more like guests than people we hired to help. Don't get me wrong, Andrew and the Bookhouse Team were consummate professionals. They were a step ahead of us on every count, capturing all the special moments we continue to cherish today. After my first interaction with Bookhouse Collective I knew that I was in good hands, and they would make my vision come to life, and they did JUST THAT!
Meredith and Andrew from Bookhouse Collective arrived on site Friday Afternoon as my wedding party was arriving and photographed my ENTIRE wedding weekend from the grounds of the farm to the rehearsal dinner, the morning after brunch and EVERYTHING in between, they did not miss a single moment OR a single detail.
Even once the wedding was over, we remained in contact throughout the editing process. Within 2 weeks they had emailed me a sneak peak of my photos and I was BLOWN away, not to mention once I received the entire album how incredible their attention to my little details were.
My experience with Bookhouse Collective and their entire team was a D.R.E.A.M and I would recommend them 100 times over for your wedding no matter how small/large near or far!

edith from Bookhouse was a consummate professional from start to finish and such a calming presence. By the time we got to Napa, she felt more like a guest than part of our wedding team. Knowing she and the Bookhouse Team were there really allowed us to focus on enjoying our friends / family as we knew the imagery would be amazing - and it was!
