ire night micromanaging the DJ and asking them to play specific Spanish songs from our playlist. We didn't realize at first, but these were the only Spanish songs played. Our guests complained that the songs they requested we put in our playlist never got played. We spent the whole night on the dance floor so we know they were right.
DJ did great as far as the song selection we did not choose, but played a lot of wrong song versions we did choose and played less than half our playlist. Plus no Cumbia music after agreeing he would play that as filler. My family sent me a Cumbia playlist and I forwarded it to him. None of it was played.
If you want the DJ to pick the music, 5 stars, go with Booms Audio for sure. If you are planning to have Mexican/Spanish music, this DJ is meh 3/5 stars, okay, but not great. Unfortunately we picked this DJ specifically because they were the ones in the area who agreed to play Spanish music. We even picked it all out so he would not have to guess.
Their skill and stellar professionalism helped make up for not playing what we wanted.
