Boone County Distilling Company was the perfect space for our small, intimate wedding. The back patio is beautiful, and the space really speaks for itself. Maggie and her team were amazing to work with! She was professional, sharp, and answered all of my silly questions along the way.

We are very happy that we got married at Boone County Distilling Company! We love the rustic look, and I was able to pick out decorations that fit with that theme. We liked how we were able to have the ceremony outside under the Pergola where there is greenery and a few plants surrounding. After the ceremony the reception is only steps away and because it was such a beautiful day, we were able to enjoy the time both inside and out. Kelsey and her team removed the chairs after the ceremony so guests could spend time outdoors and we could take more photos in that area. It is a beautiful place to take many great photos. We were also able to have our rehearsal the day before and we were able to set up decorations that evening too as there was no event going on. That is not always the case, but it worked out in our favor and Kelsey will always work to accommodate your needs. That being said, our caterer decided to leave early without our knowledge and when we were cutting our cake, we noticed he wasn’t there. Kelsey jumped at the opportunity to cut our cake for us, and she really went above and beyond. There was another instance where my husband ordered a drink at the bar and ended up on the dance floor before getting it. So, Kelsey ran it over to him which he appreciated. Kelsey was also asking if we needed anything during the day, especially before the ceremony, and she was very helpful. Also, there is no getting ready space at this venue. It worked out fine for us as our wedding party stayed with us the night before and we all got ready at our house. When we got there, I was able to put on my dress and my husband and I were able to do a first look at the Rick house. A lot of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the bourbon and how beautiful the wedding was. It is a unique place to have a wedding with a lot of beauty.

In 2021, The Award-winning distillery expanded to include The Event Center where locals and visitors alike can celebrate special occasions. As part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour, the versatile space offers couples and their guests an authentic taste of the region. Offering an inviting atmosphere, The Event Center at Boone County consists of a number of unique, versatile event spaces. For celebrations with up to 150 people, The WhiteHall Ballroom can accommodate ceremonies, receptions, showers and private events. Adjacent to the WhiteHall Ballroom, is the Barrel Room, which can deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for up to 20 guests. Shaped like a bourbon barrel, finished with an authentic char, it’s as if you are in an actual bourbon barrel - this space is sure to impress newlyweds and their loved ones. For outdoor celebrations, couples can create timeless memories with their guests on the Veranda. This covered porch can be accessed through 2 over-sized, dramatic overhead garage doors, giving the space a hip, urban vibe. The beautifully professionally landscaped Veranda offers a private, relaxing, cozy ambiance for engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners or receptions. Each space can be adjusted to fit a number of different layout configurations, depending on your vision. More intimate, casual gatherings can enjoy bourbon along with a full line of beer, wine and spirits at the venue’s F&W Bar. in the actual back of the distillery. We even set up a private tasting the night before at our rehearsal for our wedding party. It was so much fun! Our wedding party enjoyed it as well. We wanted something different than the usual typical boring rehearsal. We worked with Susan up until our wedding day. We worked with Megan on our actual wedding day. Both were great! The entire staff here seems to really care & love what they do. Our wedding was so beautiful. Our ceremony was outside on their patio. Despite being in an industrial area, you would never guess it. It felt so private. The landscaping is amazing; so perfect for a rustic wedding. Everything was as they promised. The entire process was seamless & very reasonably priced. We had awesome bartenders & used their barrel room to put our buffet in which is just a really cool room. It’s round with charred wood on the walls. Our buffet line moved quickly because of how they set it up; it was great. I could go on & on but suggest you see for yourself. You’ll be happy you did!

re we were even engaged while on a bourbon tour visit. We spoke to Susan at that point who took the time to go over some of the details with us and all of this even before we were able to give her a commitment of a time or day. The patio is a fantastic spot to have your ceremony and then being able to move right in for the reception was clutch. It's not far off the highway and which was great for the guest. The Barrel room is so beautiful and was great for having the buffet in. Being able to have some barrels around for décor was a nice touch! All of this and all for a reasonable and affordable price! Thanks Boone County for helping make our day so special!

ax. It’s wonderful to see the so many people who love and support Michelle and Matthew as they begin married life. We are all now looking forward to the nuptials tomorrow and being thankful that the rain is here today and will be moving out before the wedding day. I must give a shout out to Boone County Distilling Company. We held our event here and from start to finish, this place and their staff could not have been more amazing. Susan Wells communicated with me on a regular basis to be sure that all our needs were met. Our event bartender, Nicole, was just incredible! She was classy, fun, personable and an excellent bartender. I can’t say enough good stuff about her!! All of their staff have a great attention to detail and really went above and beyond for our event. The decor, bar and event area (they even have an outside area and are dog and kid friendly) are just perfect. How did I not know about this hidden gem right here, minutes from my house? So get the word out, if you’re looking for a great place for and event or gathering or even to plan a tour, I can’t recommend Boone County Distilling Company enough. (No, I don’t work for them, it was just a really great experience) Secondly, I want to shout out to Lother’s Catering. First I must say that Lother’s Catering catered our wedding 32 years ago, I heard it was great, but I don’t even remember having time to eat at my own wedding. LOL! We chose Lother’s for this event and the food and service were impeccable! Beth was our service person and she was just the best and handled everything perfectly. Every guest raved about how good the food was, especially the Bourbon Chicken…. Just delicious! I know it sounds like a sales pitch. But so often we only share reviews to complain. We didn’t have one complaint last night, so I thought it was important to share this too! Thanks to everyone who made our event stress free and perfect.

the wedding and they were both fantastic! Everything ran so smoothly, everything turned out beautiful, and I highly recommend this venue! Wedding planning is stressful so having Nicolette as a coordinator was so helpful! She listened to every concern I had, she arranged everything to be perfect for me, and she even went dumpster diving because I threw something away on accident. I am forever grateful to her for making my day feel special and for allowing my day to be all about my husband and I! The venue was also amazing and beautiful! We hardly had to decorate anything because the venue is wonderful on its own. The flowers were perfect and in bloom. The flowers also made for a wonderful backdrop for my pictures. There aren’t any rooms to get ready in but that wasn’t a big deal for us. We ended up bringing a trailer in for the guys to get ready in and the girls took a limo there. It worked out perfectly.
