O IT. I cannot say enough good things about them! As a coordinator, I’ve worked with countless venues and I can tell you that a positive attitude and care for the couple is something that shouldn’t be overlooked. Bernardo, Dede, and Molly were kind, supportive, and helpful throughout the entire day - they were consistently checking in on the couple to make sure their day was relaxing and ensuring they could focus on what mattered, getting married! Besides simply being a GORGEOUS venue (seriously, I couldn’t stop taking photos - the property has so many great shots!), the team you get to work with is incredible. I would recommend this venue to any of my future couples, so I wanted to recommend it to the world as well. :)

The venue has everything and more from an elegant dining room to a relaxed, picturesque outside area adorned with roses, flowers, a water fountain and cozy fire pit. All guests found their comfortable niche. It's almost has a bistro feel, like a little piece of Italy landed in Marthasville…very unique, very pristine, very inviting, with impeccable attention to detail. As the mother of the bride, planning the wedding can be stressful but Bernardo and Dede made the process seamless, were constantly positive and seemed as excited about the wedding as we were! They guided us through the process when needed and catered to our every need throughout the day making sure everything was in its place at just the right time. They are incredibly special people who delight in the sacrament of marriage and go over and above to make the day the most memorable of a lifetime for the bride and groom. They purposefully limit the number of weddings they do at the venue so they can give exceptional service and make each and every one special and wonderful! After it all they felt like family. I can't say enough good things about them and the venue and am only sad that it's over. I’d like to keep this gem a secret so it’s available for my son’s wedding but feel compelled to do this review because it’s the least we can do for all they did for us…thank you Bernardo and Dede.

e Wedding indoors, outdoors or both. The site is absolutely beautiful! The owners Debe and Bernardo are not only professional but kind and gracious. They will help you get whatever you need for your wedding within their power. All they want is for the bride and groom to have the most special experience that they can possibly give them and that's what Dede and Bernardo have done for my daughter and now Son-In-Law, they gave them the wedding of their dreams and I'll always be thankful to them. This is not only my opinion but of others that came to the wedding, my Husband and I throughout the wedding had people coming up telling us that this is the best wedding they've ever been to. I would definitely recommend that everyone go out and visit this place before you make a decision on where to have your wedding.

t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone who asks as it is one of those places that will be very hard to forget. there were 200 people and all of them had extremely positive things to say. If you are planning a wedding run to Dede and Bernardo at Boone Monument Village, you won't be sorry that you did!!!

to postpone to August 2021. Bernardo was so accommodating when it came to making this change. This also meant we were planning a wedding for almost 21 months. Although the coordinator that was originally working with us sadly left BMV during COVID, Bernardo and his wife Dede picked up right where she left off on planning to make sure everything was perfect for us. There was a lot to coordinate as we chose to rent linen dishes, silverware and glasses for our wedding, all handled by BMV and for which they have great options of! Due to the naturally hot weather in August, they allowed us to wait to decide a specific ceremony location on the property until the week of. We ended up going with the Pecan Grove and honestly so happy we did! It was shaded and absolutely beautiful. Our reception was in the barn and we had about 130 people. We used an outside food caterer which we had a little snafu with the day of the wedding, but it was totally unbeknownst to us. They were down a staff member to help clear plates etc., but Bernardo and his team picked up the slack and it was virtually an unnoticeable issue. The bar package offered by the venue is very affordable and has quite the variety of options. Unfortunately, we had an issue where the bar service did not provide enough mixer for one of our signature drinks, so that was a bit disappointing, but we had plenty of other options for our guests. Although the wedding itself was amazing, I have to say one of the best parts was actually the accommodation that evening. As part of our wedding package we got to spend our wedding night the Mellein Log Cabin. They spared no expense with all the comforting touches here! It is a quaint historic cabin, but with modern day conveniences and luxuries. My husband loves the bath towels so much, he asked me to make note of the brand! Also, may be minuscule to some, but worth noting the sheets on the bed were probably my favorite of it all, so comfortable! (I may have to ask Dede for the brand of these too!). If you're looking for a quaint, rustic and romantic venue, look no further. Bernardo and Dede will work with you to accommodate anything and everything you may want for your wedding!

Day of I forgot my hair comb/veil, cause of course there is always something (it was my moms, so it was super special to me), and Dede had her son bring it to me (1.5hrs round trip!!) I couldn't believe it! I will never forget how much work they put in to make sure i didn't have to worry abut a thing. We rented the whole village for our friends and family to stay, and what a blast! To stay in wagons and TeePee's and cabins, it was amazing, not to mention not having to worry about the drive. 100/10 STARS love this place! and will be back for the museum/stay again some day.

ow up and everything is complete! As a bride who planned a wedding in less than 6 months, she made it a breeze for me. The venue is amazing as well. We were lucky enough to be able to have your reception outside. Everyone still talks about how amazing our food was and how great of a time we had. It was a perfect 5:30 PM wedding at sunset. Bernardo drove our guests around in a golf cart to make it easy for us to get around, and Dede made sure the guests were entertained and kept busy while we took pictures. The Dickhouse was a perfect spot for the Bridal Party to change and get ready in as well. The venue is the perfect spot for a low-key, outdoorsy wedding, I wouldn't change it for the world!

We had a short engagement, and from the moment we stepped foot on BMV and met Bernardo, we were fast friends and we knew this was the perfect place. Over 4 short months, Bernardo was there EVERY step of the way helping me, my mom, and family plan. He joked that every question I asked, his answer would "always be yes" and I can say that's true! He was so supportive & excited about my dreams for everything from food to flowers. I had several specific goals like: a unique family-style serving, which he helped coordinate with my own caterer; a custom-built cross to be placed in the historic schoolhouse where we were married; let us bring our family hay wagon over & drove the wedding party around the property...the list goes on! I felt completely supported by Bernardo & Dede. There were so many personal touches too. Dede brought the ladies a super tasty snack tray while we were getting ready in the morning, and Bernardo planned a special surprise for us during our firework show at the end of the night. BMV was there for us, during both the good and the bad times. My dad is very sick, and they made every effort to accommodate his comfort and safety. I saw them cleaning during our reception several times. Even when his own family encountered hardships, Bernardo/Dede were there to answer my questions. And the morning after our wedding I realized my borrowed pearl necklace had broken and the pearl was lost somewhere in the cabin. He and his staff spent days turning the place inside out and even checked the plumbing!!! People had warned me in general, "be prepared from something to go wrong on your wedding day." I am not exaggerating when I say everything went so perfectly, from getting ready, to cakes and florists, to DJ's and dinner, to our fireworks and staying overnight in our sweet honeymoon cabin. This venue is perfect for everyone - but especially anyone who wants a wedding full of fun, intimacy, family-friendly, and jaw-dropping detail. I never thought our venue would make such a difference, but it made all the difference - with Bernardo & Dede as the cherry on top! I would give BMV ten stars if I could!

He and his wife Dede even brought the bridesmaids snacks and goodies to enjoy while getting their hair and nails done! His answer to the bride’s every request was unfailingly “Yes!” He personally saw to it that the schedule was followed flawlessly, the providers’ needs were met, the entire acreage was manicured, and everything in its place. We couldn’t have ever asked for a more beautiful venue, or more gracious hosts. And the fireworks finale was Amazing! A million thanks to you, Bernardo and Dede. You’re The Best!!!

, we knew this was the perfect place to have her wedding. Torrie made the whole process so easy; it was amazing to know that we were in such good hands. Dede and Bernardo were amazing the day of the wedding, with the small little touches that they set out for the bridal party, down to checking on the bride and groom as well as the parents throughout the night was just wonderful! The grounds at Boone Monument are just breathe taking, and are going to make for some gorgeous pictures. Everyone that stayed on the grounds the night of the wedding thought it was the coolest thing to be able to stay in teepees and covered wagons! We couldn’t be any happier with how the whole day and evening turned out and we cannot Thank Dede and Bernardo enough for the wonderful evening!!

They accommodated our religious traditions with kindness and graciousness, were sensitive and careful regarding Covid awareness, and handled our extremely short time frame with ease. The venue was beautiful!! The ceremony by the water was perfect, the barn ballroom and patio were set up beautifully and held our family and friends so comfortably and ending the evening with singing around the bonfire was such a sweet touch. We will all cherish these memories! Dede and Bernardo really made the evening one of a kind! We are truly grateful!

re and we didn't have to worry about anyone driving after the reception. There is a lot of space to spread out and lots of things to look at while the couple is doing their photos. So many choices for the wedding ceremony-by the lake, rose garden, under the trees and it is special that the school bell can be rung when they announce the couple-its a unique experience and so many ways to have your wedding. The entire village was at perfection-clipped lawn, and spotless! Attendants help everyone get parked. Torrie does an amazing job-from the beginning to the end. She had a great timeline of when to do what and helped to keep the wedding party on track and keep things moving along-she was always available for questions, ideas, calming nerves about the weather. As she talked to my daughter about how she wanted things decorated or special decorations-she made them happen. She also had very good ideas and alternatives. We didn't really have to worry about the weather because it could have be rapidly changed to an inside wedding if it had rained......this alone is a good reason to consider having your wedding here. Cleanup-Torrie was just as helpful gathering items and sorting if it belonged to BMV or us. Bernardo suggested ringing the bell and everyone loved that as the couple was introduced. Most of my daughters decorations came from pictures she found and Torrie helped her create her dream. Everyone is very nice and helpful-I just can't thank them enough. As mother of the bride, I didn't have to worry about anything because Torrie was usually a step ahead of me. We also used their caterer and the food was fantastic and everyone raved about it, especially the pulled pork. If I had to do it over again, I would not have changed a thing and we did not notice anything that was missed...all details were attended to. Cudos to everyone for such a wonderful experience!!

I was able to get ready in the house on the venue with my bridesmaids in the morning. I would highly recommend this to all brides because I did not have to worry about a thing. Bernado provided a delicious breakfast for us girls and we were able to start taking pictures on the venue right away! Boone monument has so many options for cermony space and pictures. I have never seen a more beautiful venue! Even though we had our ceremony during this crazy time, our special day was still amazing because we had it at Boone Monument Village.

nside area has very a warm and cozy feeling with rich wood floors and ceilings. the owners DeDe and Bernardo are there every step of the way, from our first meeting a year ago to our arrival and departure on the day of the wedding that took place in the rose garden. The event manager, Torrie, was helpful with reminder emails keeping us on track and setting up seating arrangements for our guests. Thank goodness for the overnight accommodations also. The cabins, tipis and wagons were very much appreciated.

ve never once left a review. But this place, that I had no idea existed until 3 weeks ago, is absolutely amazing and deserves a shout out. Everywhere you look is a beautiful eye-full. You can tell the owners love it. They worked really hard, always attentive, and always happy. The red barn is sophisticated but also charming and intimate. We ate dinner in the main room with a huge 2 story stone fireplace and a wall of windows that looks out over the patio up to the most picture-perfect little red schoolhouse on the hill. During the ceremony, when the B/G kissed, the school bell rang. This was the single most romantic wedding moment I have ever experienced. The Village is big and has wagons, teepees, and little cabins where some of the guests stayed overnight. They are so cool! I’ve been to a wedding at literally every winery from Defiance to Hermann, and this place is happily and unexpectedly so different. Boone Monument Village is unique, private, beautiful, and romantic. It reminds me of Little House on the Prairie, but with elegance…like Little House on the Prairie Resort! Next time we’ll know to book an overnight lodge quickly if we are invited to another wedding there. Congratulations to BMV for a change of pace from the ordinary!

So, of course it rained, but BMV had a rain plan and the rain turned out to be no big deal! As an added bonus, the rain cleared in the evening and a rainbow appeared over patio, which made for some beautiful pictures and people still got to mingle outside! Plus, the rain cooled off the temperature enough that we could use the venue’s great fire pit! Another awesome thing is that when the evening was over, my new husband and I just had to take the short walk to the Mellein Cabin for our overnight stay. And we didn’t have to clean up anything! The staff took care off all of that and neatly collected all of our decorations for us to pick up the next day. It was so helpful! All in all, our reception was wonderful and an extremely fun evening! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

at Boone Monument Village brought all of my dreams to life. We first met Bernardo after touring 12 different venues. Upon arrival, we were greeted and given a tour of the property. I smiled from ear to ear the entire time. There was no turning back. Throughout the planning process The team asked me all the right questions to help make sure the event was organized and no details were forgotten. I had a larger event and they made sure every single person-guest or vendor- was taken care of. I had a completely worry free day! I recommend staying there the entire weekend. We truly felt a part of the village. I can not say enough good things about the personal touches this team brought to my wedding day. I’m actually sad our time has ended, but we will for sure be back for stays on our anniversary!

Bernardo Brunetti, the wonderful owner of this hidden Missouri gem, has crafted a space with so much character and charm in every corner, you need more than just a day to explore every inch of this village. Our ceremony was held on the front lawn of the Dick House, under cover of a vibrant canopy of massive trees. Our reception was held at the barn’s outdoor patio, which was at the bottom of a golden hill, in the shadow of the property’s Old School House. The day before, Bernardo and his team had worked tirelessly to add strings of lights above our reception area, adding a modern charm to the rustic venue. They were attentive, open in their communication, and made sure every aspect of the property fit into what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better group to help us plan our day. Here were our favorite aspects of BMV: 1. Bernardo and his team made sure that everything that we wanted happened. 2. The barn, Dickhouse Residence, and cabins were filled with antique furniture and art that perfected the rustic feel. 3. The new patio and fountain were the picture-perfect place for an outdoor reception or wedding ceremony. We filled it with about almost 200 people! 4. We used the Dickhouse Residence to get ready for the wedding, and the bedrooms we go ready in made our pictures look flawless because of the unique decorations. 5. Inside the red barn was exactly what we needed for our rehearsal dinner and to host the buffet during our reception. 6. The location has a beautiful lake, and the best place to have a sunset shoot up was at the schoolhouse on the hill. After looking back at our pictures, we still aren’t sure how we ended up being the recipients of such a perfect location. The buildings, the views, and the landmarks were something out of a fairytale, and we got to have the blessing of living that story for a day. If you are trying to figure out whether Boone Monument Village is the right venue for you, ask yourself this question: do I want the perfect location? If yes, stop looking…you’ve found it.
