The Alexander and Alford families are carrying on a family tradition from the 1800's in farming Boone Valley Farm. We are still a 120 acre farm raising cattle, corn and hay.
In 2021 we hosted a large gathering of family and friends at the farm. From that gathering we had several requests to host weddings and other large gatherings at Boone Valley Farm and our dream was formed. We began a process in 2022 of building and repurposing an old barn, and a portion of our property, to share with our community and to provide additional income for our family farm. We are life long residents of NKY and we love the area we live in. But, as most of you know, with the expanding growth in our area family farms are becoming a thing of the past. Our event venue will provide additional income that will help ensure our farm remains a farm for generations to come. We hope you, after visiting Boone Valley, will love our farm as much as we do. We can't wait for the opportunity to share it with you.
We have three beautiful ceremony locations; outdoor, covered outdoor and inside climate-controlled seating for up to 300 guests.
Cassie Ryan is the General Manager at Boone Valley Farm. Cassie says "there are two kinds of people at Boone Valley Farm. One is family and the other we treat like family". Please contact Cassie to set a time to come out and tour our facility. Cassie and her team, mostly family members, will work to be sure your special day is as perfect as possible. Cassie will be glad to meet you at the farm to show you our property, outdoor wedding locations (if that's your choice) and our indoor, climate controlled facilities where we can host your events all twelve months of the year. Should you feel that Boone Valley Farm is not the ideal location for your event we will share other reputable venues in the tri-state area that may meet your specific needs. e of the benches had been swept off. We had to sweep off, clean off all of the grass and bird poop ourselves. The front bench was full of a sticky substance that came up from the wood. We had to call them and come and get them to cover it with plastic
We spent an extra $500 for Prosecco. I asked for it for the day of for the girls getting ready. We had a very large bridal party and there were only two bottles there. We called and asked if they could bring more over and they brought us four warm bottles. :(
They have a great area to get ready for both bridesmaids and the groomsmen. We were there all day and served them breakfast lunch and drinks. So we had a lot of stuff to get out of there. The problem was they give you 30 minutes after the ceremony to get everything out of those rooms. We were running around like crazy trying to clean everything up . It took us a full hour to get everything out of there and we missed the entire cocktail hour.
No one told us that clearing the dinner tables was up to us. That would have been fine if we had known that. It was very embarrassing that all of the plates just sat there. We had to have the bridal party run around and clear off the tables
The worst part of the night was that everything has to be gone and cleaned up that evening. This is our third wedding and we have never had that happen. It took us two hours at the end of the night to get everything cleaned up and out of the venue . It was sad for us to not be able to go out with our children after the wedding.
We had other issues that I will not go into. The owner was extremely rude to us. He treated us like we were trespassing in his home rather than clients. As I said, we had a very large wedding and I don’t believe anyone who attended that wedding will be booking Any future weddings there.
Besides the owner, the staff was very friendly. The bartenders were amazing and very accommodating.
I wish I had a better review. It was a day my daughter dreamed of. We did everything we could keep her from knowing of the issues that we’re going on throughout the day.

The venue itself was beautiful, but what really stood out was how accommodating and thoughtful the team was throughout the entire planning process and on our big day. Every little detail mattered to them, and they truly made us feel cared for.
I cannot recommend this venue highly enough — if you want a place that not only delivers an incredible setting but also makes you feel supported this is it!

Tim, Kim, Cassie, and anyone else we ever talked with there were all very kind and helpful throughout the process. Everything is gorgeous- the outdoor ceremony space, reception barn, bridal suite, lodge, etc. were all wonderful. I hope to have a reason to return to this special place in the future.
