We were so, so grateful to have been referred to Anastasia as she was so amazing to work with. Our DJ had suggested working with Anastasia, as Anastasia had actually photographed his own wedding. When we visited her blog, we were hooked! We met with Anastasia in a small coffee shop in Boston the next weekend and were so impressed by her professionalism and warmth; she is so transparent about her services, but also wants to get to know her clients. We knew our search was over. We were fortunate to do a beautiful engagement shoot with Anastasia; although we did our photo shoot at the Esplanade, a commonly photographed spot, Anastasia made our photo opportunities feel so special. We were definitely not natural models, but Anastasia was so helpful and joyful, she made the experience a beautiful memory in our wedding planning journey. Anastasia was great about keeping communication as our wedding approached; she uses electronic forms that were so helpful in helping us to get organized and also share our hopes for our wedding photos. On our big day, Anastasia arrived early, ready to set up and capture every part of our day. We hired an additional shooter who captured my fiancé getting ready with his groomsmen while Anastasia was a calming presence capturing my wedding preparations at our hotel. She was never in the way and made the process feel very organic; our families loved her and shared with us they thought she was so sweet and professional. Throughout the entirety of our day, she captured beautiful moments, from the church to the venue. Our venue was a lakeside villa and Anastasia captured pure magic by the water at sunset. She also left the sweetest card with warm wishes that meant so much to us. We have loved looking through our wedding photos and sharing our memories with our friends and family. We knew Anastasia was a great fit for us, and she far exceeded our expectations.

Anastasia was recommended to us by friends who are photographers in Boston but were already booked for our wedding weekend. One of the best recommendations we've ever received!! Both the engagement photo shoot and the wedding itself were beautifully done and fun to take part in. She made sure we were relaxed and that our personalities were really able to shine without looking super posed or awkward. Our wedding pictures came out GORGEOUS and I'm still showing them off every chance I get months after receiving them. (Even the candids of people dancing came out amazing!) As an added bonus, Anastasia is also just a wonderful and friendly person to work with. Every time we had a request she worked around it with a smile and was always amazingly helpful along the way. We honestly couldn't be happier with our photographer and final photographs!!

It was such a pleasure working with Anastasia. We couldn't have picked a better photographer for our special days. We had a two day Cambodian/American wedding and Anastasia handled everything with great professionalism. I don't quite know where to start, having Anastasia photograph our wedding was by far the best and easiest decision we made! She is an amazing photographer and her style was exactly what we were looking for. Her qualities as a person compliment her gift as a photographer. Not only is she incredibly personable, reliable, and professional, she always went the extra mile for us throughout the wedding process. Whether it was being a sounding board for decisions we weren't quite sure about to helping me coordinate an outfit that would photograph well for our engagement photos. Not to mention the fact that she was 9 months pregnant when she photographed our 10 hour wedding! We are extremely grateful for everything she has done for us. We now consider her more than just our wedding photographer, we consider her a friend.

Anastasia was a DREAM to work with. From our very first email inquiry, she was warm and professional. Her process is organized and takes all the work off of the bride and groom; well written questionnaires and helpful advice make everything so easy! She isn't pushy, trying to sell you things you don't want (like some other photographers we met with!). She just wants to work to make you happy. She has an eye for the most gorgeous and interesting shots and will work to make sure you're happy with your photos. We're over the moon with the final product. Such vision and artistry with a photo journalistic feel. We weren't posed or fake; she caught every little thing and worked closely with other vendors to make sure she knew where to be and when. We hardly knew she was there during our ceremony and she and her second shooter captured every special moment before, during, and after the ceremony. Anastasia was one of the several photographers that my wife and I were considering for our wedding earlier this year. We both really liked her portfolio and style! I’ve known Anastasia and her family for a while, and I’ve heard good things about my friends who had their events photographed by her. Anastasia was super helpful and always quick to respond! For our engagement shoot, she helped my wife and I re-create our date night when we got engaged in Boston. We had no idea that she would make the photo shoot so fun! Anastasia just let us enjoy the day and captured phenomenal shots of the city, along with all of our spontaneous excitement. It was clear that Anastasia strived to go the extra mile in her work. She made sure that we always were happy with the photos and met with us several times to prepare for the big day. Anastasia had a lot of advice from her prior experiences and that helped us decide what we wanted at our wedding. She was great at keeping everyone on schedule and organized for the photos and communicating with my wife and I throughout the whole day. I cannot say enough about Borisyuk Photography—Anastasia is simply the best! Every bride-to-be knows how much work goes into planning a wedding. After all is said and done, all that is left are memories of the best day of your life. Luckily for us, Anastasia beautifully captured the all the details of our wedding day, allowing us to relive the moments for years to come. Anastasia was our wedding photographer in Boston last November (2015) and we could not have been happier to work with her. Before the ceremony she photographed us in several locations in Boston (in cold weather, it should be noted!) and was super patient, positive, and flexible throughout all the locations--including cab rides and a boat ride on the harbor. Due to time crunch and family stuff, we didn't provide her much direction for the ceremony (at the old state house) and the reception (at harpoon brewery) but she rolled with it and made sure to get all the important shots. She adapted to some unanticipated lighting challenges on the fly in several historic venues as well. She was genuinely a pleasure to be around throughout the night, slipping through the crowd and getting tons of great candid and posed shots. Overall, her photos were stunning. She has a great eye/style, and we feel very fortunate to have worked with her. She did a beautiful job.

I spent many weeks researching and comparing a plethora of photographers to find “the one.” After narrowing my choices down, I turned to one of my husband’s best friends/groomsmen, a professional photographer himself, for his expert opinion to help me solidify the winner. Without hesitation, Anastasia’s portfolio outshone the others. Alas, I found her! I couldn’t be luckier to have met such a personable, dedicated, passionate, and talented photographer as Anastasia. Her loving personality radiated through every email, every call, through every correspondence. From start to finish, Anastasia was a dream to work with and, naturally, as expected, our photographs turned out exceptionally. Anastasia captured the very essence of our wedding – all the fun and dancing, the intricate details, the emotion and magical narrative of the day. She even slid a beautifully hand-written wedding card in our letterbox sharing such touching, kind and personal words-of-wisdom. Her words meant so much to me that I even brought it along on our honeymoon. No word of a lie. But little did I know, our goodbye that evening was not the last. As expected in most weddings, several little/big mishaps occur. Our most unfortunate mishap ended up being my hair! Regrettably and unknowingly, I hired a very inexperienced stylist. Michael and I had a 4pm flight out of Boston, and on that very travel day, at 10:20am, I had a crazy and desperate idea to recapture some close-ups, with newly styled hair, of course. I took my chances and called Anastasia. This incredible lady fought 2 hours of traffic in a heavy downpour of rain, she had her adorable children in tow because this was so last minute, and to top it off, she even brought additional umbrellas so Michael and I wouldn’t get soaking wet in the rain. If that is not going above and beyond, I don’t know what is. After all of that conundrum, we only had time for 8 minutes of photo taking. EIGHT MINUTES! But she snapped away in the pouring rain like the dedicated, professional she is - only wanting the best for her clients. And can you believe that by the time we landed, I had an abundance of edited photos waiting for me in my inbox. I will never forget Anastasia’s empathy, her kindness, her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients. Her dedication is something to marvel at. If you are looking for a wildly talented photographer who is thoughtful, reliable, makes you feel at ease and confident; if you are looking for someone who is exceptionally accommodating, patient and calm amidst all the wedding-frenzy, Anastasia is your photographer. Anastasia photographed my wedding, which took place at a butterfly sanctuary. She did an amazing job capturing the beauty of both the venue and the occasion. Her photographs brought an extra loveliness and an elegant sense of formality to my small, casual wedding. We had a small budget for our wedding, but I know great photography was the most important factor! I came across these guys through a beautiful black and white photo that came up when I searched for images of our venue "The phoenix room", the photo was romantic, classy, and not posed! The bride and the groom were smiling, as someone made a toast to the new couple! And thought to myself this is it! I want someone who can capture moments! The moments that make your day special! These two did just that and then some, their services and professionalism exceeded our expectation! Thank you for everything you did and continue to do! Anastasia and Vitaly photographed my wedding in May 2015. They included a complimentary engagement shoot before the wedding, for which they even picked the location (we were short of ideas)! We set up a phone call beforehand to discuss prices, packages, who we are, what photography style we are looking for and just to get to know each other. Borisyuk photography was consistently professional, timely (like, SUPER fast editing), and all around great people to work with! I wish we still lived in the area because we would continue getting family photos taken by Anastasia. One important thing I forgot to mention... the photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY! It's so hard to choose a photographer for such a special occassion, and you can't always be sure that the end result will be beautiful. We are so happy to have chosen right and picked these guys! Anastasia is not only great at what she does, a true artist with a camera, but she is someone who invests in your wedding and your pictures as if they were her own! She truly doesn't just take pictures, she documents your wedding with photographs in such a personal way that when look at them, it brings you right back to the moment. From taking our engagement pictures right down to the final minutes of our wedding, Anastasia was amazing with both her professionalism and her excitement capturing moments she had been envisioning for us for months! We can't thank her enough for delivering memories that will last a lifetime.

We hired Anastastia for our engagement photos last year and for our wedding this past summer as well. She is great at responding to questions quickly and is very sweet to work with. Our photos came out nice and we have some great shots to frame and make an album with. She is very passionate about her work which shows in her dedication. The only reason for the 4 stars is I felt like if she had scouted our venue beforehand it would have worked a bit more smoothly with more options. It seemed like she was a little overwhelmed the day of the wedding when it came to taking photos outdoors. Luckily, I had some ideas so it worked out okay since I had previously scouted the area myself. But it's not a reason not to hire her, she's great for someone like myself who is very organized and plans ahead and knows what they want. And to be fair, our group was hard to take photos of because no one wanted to take pictures they wanted to just join the party... :) She was great when it was just my Husband and myself, since we were more relaxed.

My husband and I hired Anastasia from Borisyuk Photography to help us photograph our post-wedding celebration back in February 2015. Out of all the other photographers online portfolios we viewed we liked her style the most. Her service was very professional from the first contact, through the planning process and on the day of the party. My husband is a professional wedding DJ who sees 50+ photographers a year and he ranks Anastasia towards the top. She went above and beyond - showed up early (even though there was a blizzard that prevented a lot of our guests from attending the party) and stayed later than she was contracted to. A photographer is somebody you spend a lot of time with when having a big event like a wedding, so it is important to get along well with them.
