My wife & I got engaged in late 2020 and scheduled an initial zoom call with several photographers to review their different packages. However, our zoom call with Milad stood out in all the right ways as Milad connected with us as people and learned about our love story and how we found him. His personality is one-of-a-kind! We booked his Wedding Package that included an Engagement Shoot as well. Milad spent almost an entire day with us at the Oregon coast for our Engagement shoot and made my wife & me so comfortable along the entire process. (We are not the most camera comfortable!) From our engagement shoot until our wedding in August 2022, we grew very close with Milad as friends and he offered his opinions on our timeline, first look, etc on several occasions and even came to our rehearsal a few days before the wedding to scope out the best photo spots at our venue. His communication is always prompt! On our wedding day, all of our family & friends commented on how amazing Milad is and asked if we were somehow great friends before we met him to be our photographer! ner and I got engaged in the summer of 2019, and we were so excited to start planning toward our big day, set to take place in September 2020. One of the first vendors we booked was Milad, and we're so glad we did. Our first chat with him was like reconnecting with an old friend, and he really took the time to listen and get to know who we were as individuals and as a couple. A huge thing both of us were looking for was someone who would want to get to know our guests and our community, too, as that is such a big part of who we are; we wanted to find a photographer who would look for those little, nuanced moments, and not just treat the wedding day as a job to get done. Fast-forward to March 2020, and we made the tough decision to postpone our wedding til the following September, hoping that the pandemic would subside by then. We all know what happened there; we ended up pushing out the wedding one more time, to June 2022. Each time, we kept our fingers crossed that our vendors would all be able to make the new date, knowing that doing so would impact their livelihoods and schedules too. And to be honest, throughout all of our uncertainties and changes, Milad was a steadfast constant. And his enthusiasm and genuine care (he sent us the sweetest, most heartfelt video messages!) really helped us to feel reassured in our decision to postpone not once, but twice. And when it came time for the engagement shoot and the big wedding weekend, Milad really showed up and then some. He was big on giving us some tips and scenarios to help tee up the shots, but otherwise just let us be our fullest selves. He put us (and all of our guests!) at ease, and maybe one of the best things, too, was that my partner and I didn't notice him at all during the ceremony itself, or throughout much of the weekend — getting distracted by the photographer has always been a worry of ours. He fit in seamlessly with our friends and family, and having him there for our big day after he'd been with us through two postponements over two years made it that much more memorable and special. I could not recommend Milad highly enough. He will work hard to make your big day super special, and be an enthusiastic cheerleader from day one. His photography is spectacular, his attitude is inspiring, and his genuine love for people is palpable. If you're looking for a photographer who brings his whole heart to the celebration of your union, Milad Sadegi is your guy.

s in an artistic and intimate way. Milad's aesthetic immediately stood out to us when we were reviewing his website portfolio. He was very quick to respond to us when we reached out, and I loved that he wanted to meet over video chat unlike some others that we interviewed with. I felt that Milad cared the most about getting to know us as people, and he showed his genuine feelings about his love for photography and creating memories for wedding couples. Let me just say that Milad went above and beyond in his level of service. We scheduled the engagement shoot in Yosemite over one weekend, and Milad was very flexible with any of our requests. We drove from San Diego, picked him up from Irvine, and then traveled all the way to Yosemite through traffic and random Los Angeles fires on the freeway. Only to finally reach our remote AirBNB in the middle of the night about half a day later. And he never complained once for any inconvenience or lack of planning. He also made fantastic suggestions for locations since we only had a few ideas in mind. Random side note: he is an amazing cook and made us delicious tacos that I still remember to this day. After this experience, we knew for sure that Milad was a great person and a trustworthy friend that we could rely on. We felt so comfortable doing all of our shoots in public and the photos came out amazing. For our wedding in Hawaii, Milad continued his excellent quality of service even though there were lots of issues surrounding the wedding planning. Milad assisted with keeping the wedding on schedule and was able to capture so many great memories of everyone there. He even climbed on our videographer’s shoulders at one point during the reception to get a shot of everyone dancing :) We are always going to be grateful for meeting him and selecting him as our photographer. Even a few months later, we are continually viewing our wedding photos because they are so beautiful. Honestly, he exceeded all expectations that we had and truly showed why it is worth hiring a photographer for your wedding or engagement. I would definitely recommend Milad to everyone and he deserves the best!

if what we wanted was truly going to be impossible to find. We wanted photos that told the story of our day. Photos that we can actually hang in our home. Photos that captured moments versus everyone’s attention. Discovering Milad, was pure joy. From the portfolio review and the first video call, to the beer we snagged with him to learn more about us. The coverage we received on our wedding day (including a post-wedding moment back at our hotel at the end of the night) made us extremely happy and even more stoked to see his final work. Personality is a must to capture the candid magic he does. So grateful for the laughter, the conversations, and the honest love for love he has. Highly, highly recommend for your day. ng, so we planned our wedding in 7 days (!!!). With such short notice Milad was able to make his schedule work to fit us in and be a part of our day. He was a perfect addition to our small, intimate, backyard wedding! Our family absolutely loved him and still talks about him today. He makes everyone comfortable, makes the whole process fun and even my husband who “doesn’t do photos” had a fun time with him taking his photo. Our pictures are so beautiful - we are so happy with them. He captured so many special moments and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. We have these memories now permanently captured forever. Milad becomes instant family/friend, provides excellent photographs, is a great communicator, and is so much fun to be around. Would 10000000% recommend him to anyone who wants some REAL photos that capture those special moments without it being super posed/cheesy.

pared to be as blown away as I was. Every single photo seemed to capture the most genuine moments not only between my wife and I, but also between every one of our family and friends at the wedding. Just flipping through the pictures I could feel the genuine emotions of everyone in each picture. These are not your typical carefully-posed-and-crafted-just-to-look-pretty wedding photos, these are genuine and authentic moments that actually happened at our wedding, and that is incredibly more beautiful than anyone could have ever posed. Milad seemingly managed to capture real moments of joy, tears, and love over and over and over again throughout the day. I'm still amazed. Not only were the pictures beautiful, be he also managed to help us consistently throughout the day. He constantly put us at ease and helped to carefully guide us so that all of the pictures didn't feel like a chore like they normally do on wedding days. He's just an overall joyful person to work with, and I could not possibly recommend him enough to everyone. You will not be disappointed at all.

It wasn’t just his Instagram profile that we fell in love with, it was all solidified when we drove 4 hours down to Pacific City, Oregon for our engagement shoot, with a pit stop in Downtown PDX to pick Milad up. Milad is the coolest, who remembers a birthday of someone they’ve never even met and greets them with a birthday gift?! From then on, I knew we were in good hands. Milad’s work ethic, his punctuality, his talent/skill level as well as his ability to keep it professional while making you feel like a friend are unmatched. He made us feel at ease and comfortable throughout the journey at what is sometimes a major time of stress for some people. m our very first meeting, it was like having coffee with an old friend, and his fun and easy-going personality ultimately made us way more comfortable in front of the camera (along with the Rainiers he brought to our engagement shoot!). For those who aren’t natural models, Milad is very good at providing instruction to get flattering photos that don’t seem overly stiff or unnatural. He’s also an expert at finding great locations: we did our engagement shoot in the woods / a field, and our wedding was in an industrial area, and both sets of photos came out looking so unique and beautiful! The day of the wedding, he dealt with some scheduling delays like a champ -- I was running late to my first look, and he handled all the communication with my fiance, and even drove me to the location to keep things running smoothly! He was great at getting groups corralled for formal pictures, and several of our guests even commented on how nice he was at the reception. We got some “sneak peek” photos just 4 days after our wedding, which were SO appreciated to tide us over for the full gallery. At once that came, it blew us away! There weren’t just a few good shots; we were hard-pressed to even choose favorites. He curated the gallery with care so we weren’t scrolling through 18 versions of the exact same shot, and the final product perfectly captured all the love and fun and laughter of that day. We can’t recommend Milad enough!!

surrounding our wedding day. I'm normally crazy awkward in front of the camera, so there was an ease and comfort I was looking to feel from the person who'd follow me around all day taking my photo. Milad was that person. His positive and creative energy was calming and allowed me to be myself, to melt into moments, and truly feel everything rather than worry about how I'd look in photos. Our elopement plans changed last minute and Milad was there helping us with the changing details the whole time. I didn't even know where exactly we were going to have our tiny ceremony until hours before, so Milad went out and scouted the PERFECT spot for us. I trust him completely. If you want the best photographer EVER, look no further.

during her wedding, we knew we needed him as our photographer. He exceeded our already high expectations. We expected a lot of rain during our wedding, which definitely happened. However, in the small window of clear skies Milad captured some great moments of just the two of us along a dock that I was really hoping to get photos with. These photos came out amazing! He was very flexible with us and took advantage of every photo opportunity he could. He made sure to get all the photos we wanted on our list as well as ones we didn't think of until we were in the moment. We highly recommend using Milad as your photographer.

his passion for photography. Fast forward to 2019 when I got engaged to my man. As we start our wedding planning fiasco, the only two items he wanted to “choose” was the photographer and DJ. Given I’m a lover of all music, I was happy to let him take the lead on picking DJ. But I was hesitant on what my photos would look like, or the specific vibe I wanted. So, after he told me he wanted Milad to take our wedding photos, I was uncertain on saying yes right away. I wanted to meet with him just to get a sense of what he did. After stalking his Instagram of course, I started to realize that Milad knew what he was doing. It was even more validation after we set up our initial zoom call. It felt like I had known him just as long as my husband. He is incredibly personable and kind, and he immediately made me feel comfortable. We decided to go with an engagement package and wedding photos. I should point out that I’m not good with being in front of a lens and posing or smiling for too long. But Milad was able to make the entire session fun for us. We completely fell in love with our photos. By the end of it all, not only did we end up with some exquisite shots (if I do say so myself), but we also made a forever friend! He captures moments you wouldn’t even think were moments. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and it showed in the way he speaks so eloquently about his passion. Milad was absolutely everything we wanted, and I will cherish those photos for eternity. If you’ve made it this far in the review, then you can tell I’d give more than 5 stars. Even if you want a dope photo shoot with your pets (I’m considering doing one with my senior dog), whatever reason you need to take some photos, freaking do it. Go with Milad.

That would be enough for five stars, but on our wedding day Milad was just a joy to work with...he felt like part of the "crew." Group shots felt so, so fun, and the bride and groom shots time felt so comfortable, it was actually a special, calm moment away from wedding craziness. All our family and friends loved hanging out with him and he felt like part of our big day. He was accommodating to requests to photograph at more than one site, and captured the beautiful spot we got married so well. And the photos were just breathtaking, we will treasure them forever. I felt he really captured us and our loved ones so well. Can't recommend highly enough for both a wonderful photographer experience and exceptional photography.
