We had the pleasure of working with James - Born to DJ for our wedding, and I can honestly say he was fantastic! From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating and made s...
ure to follow all of our music requests. What really stood out, though, was his ability to "read the room" during the dancing portion of the night. He had a great sense of timing, switching up songs when needed to keep the energy high and the crowd engaged.
Not only did he nail our playlist, but he also kept things flowing smoothly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. His professionalism and attention to detail were second to none, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help make our wedding celebration unforgettable.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for any event – he's the real deal!
The staff at Born to DJ were professional and easy to work with. Christie made the booking process seamless and quick and James was a fantastic DJ with a great knowledge of our ven...
ue (Castle McCulloch). In addition to DJing the reception, James set up all the lighting and mics for the venue resulting in a beautifully lit ceremony that everyone (even our hard of hearing family) could hear and enjoy.
Born to DJ is a preferred vendor of the venue, so there may be additional discounts if you book with them.
Born to DJ uses a program called Vibo in which you input your preferred music tastes and plan out when and where you need music throughout your special day. They can also help with things like day-of coordination and other announcements. Five very well deserved stars!
We worked with Born To DJ for our wedding this month and they did an incredible job. James was professional from start to finish, always anticipating our questions and our needs. ...
He was super helpful in putting together our music plan in the weeks leading up to the wedding (and he uses a cool website that makes it easy to organize and request songs). On the day-of, James and his team managed two distinct setups without any hiccups or delays. James and his team made our day extremely special, and I highly recommend working with him if you're looking for a DJ to make your life much easier at your special event!
Darrick and the rest of the crew at Born to DJ were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were so responsive leading up to the wedding, and Darrick kept guests on the dance floor...

Everyone at Born to DJ was helpful, professional, not to mention patient with our endless questions! They were so supportive throughout our planning process and their communication...
was top notch. At the actual wedding and reception, James did a superb job of keeping the dance floor filled, changing the music to fit the crowd. He ensured that the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing music was in line with our requests. He always asked for our ideas and preferences, but had a knack for knowing when we needed to use his expertise. We were his first Filipina Money Dance couple!! :) Even my husband, who admits he is NOT a dancer, was on the floor most of the night with me! From what our friends tell us, James kept the party going after we left! They are truly a first class company and we would highly recommend them to anyone we know. Thank you Born to DJ for helping make our fairytale wedding a dream come true!

ed. We loved the app Born to DJ uses to plan out the timeline, special moments, and song list. James kept our day running smoothly with his on-point MC skills. Thank you for helping make our day perfect 💜

Mr. Weaks kept the party moving. Loved his introduction of our wedding party. We especially liked his website that allowed us to select our own music for each phase of the party ...

James was the DJ for my wedding just two weeks ago! Going into the planning process, I knew Born to DJ because James also did my sister's wedding. He is one of the only DJ's I know...
that constantly reads the crowd. If he can tell people aren't liking a song, he will change it to keep everything lively. I wanted my wedding day to be a huge party, and I really wanted people dancing for the majority of it. That is not an easy thing to do but I have seen James keep people dancing and engaged at my sister's wedding and now mine. The planning couldn't have been easier, and I always felt reassured after speaking with him. Born to DJ couldn't have done better and I highly HIGHLY recommend them.
James is spectacular! Easy to communicate with and promptly responds to all email/texts/calls. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Music selection was great. Kept the crowd on the dance floor. We had a great time. I would definitely hire again. 10/10 recommend.
James made sure we had everything we needed for our wedding. Even had to make a few lady minute changes and he took care of it with no problem.

to our wedding so my communication skills were lacking, but James was so gracious and figured out every detail for us and perfected it. His execution was flawless, his song choices were amazing and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. He played music that our crowd connected with and we had, and continue to have, people tell us that the music was the best they had ever experienced at a wedding. We couldn’t recommend James and his team enough for making our day nothing short of perfect. THANK YOU!

o fill out and it was very thorough and he confirmed everything with us to make sure it was perfect. There was a problem on our end with the music for the ceremony and he stayed super calm and figured out the problem and got it working! At the reception he helped me make sure everything was running smoothly and on time and there was not a moment people were not on the dance floor. People were dancing before the reception even started. He was so nice, fun and easy to work with. He kept everyone having a good time and we couldn't have asked for more. People are still giving me compliments on how awesome he was! I highly recommend him!!
