Natalie and Jamie were my wedding photographers and they were great at the wedding! They got where they needed to be to get the shots without being intrusive. And we just got a sne...
ak peak at the photos and they're even more amazing than I imagined! Really great photo team!
Natalie & Jamie did amazing work at my wedding! They are so professional and capture everything! I have had many compliments on their photographs.
Natalie and Jamie were amazing both with our engagement photos and on our wedding day!!! We had hired another photographer initially for our wedding and when I received the proofs...
of our engagement session with him, I was in tears instantly. The photos were terrible and he was more interested in photojournalism than taking gorgeous photos of the most important day of our lives! I remembered Borrowed Blue from seeing them at a bridal show in Baltimore, and remembered really liking an aerial photo they took inside a church that was breathtaking. So, I contacted them and thanked my stars that they were available for our big day.
They were wonderful with our engagement photos, which we took in Annapolis soon before Christmas. They had us laughing and we all had a great time, resulting in some of my favorite photos that have ever been taken of the two of us. On our wedding day, Natalie stayed with the girls and Jamie shot the guys getting ready - it was pretty incredible having two photographers so we didn't miss a minute! They did everything I asked and produced some amazing photos that I still get compliments on to this day. Also, the turn-around time to get them back was much faster than I anticipated!!
Borrowed Blue Photography is an amazing choice for your wedding day - you won't be sorry! I am even happy to announce that my husband and I are planning to have Natalie and Jamie take photos for our son's first birthday sometime soon!!!
Thank you, Natalie and Jamie, for your amazing work. I have recommended you OFTEN to brides-to-be that I know, and can't wait to set up a shoot with you guys again!
I used Natalie and Jamie of Borrowed Blue Photography to shoot my Boudoir session. I had never done anything like that before and was a little nervous. They really put me at ease...
and coaxed me out of my shell in order to get some fantastic shots. (If you haven't been photographed a lot, trust me -- it's harder than it looks. And it takes a special talent for photographers to make their subjects feel comfortable.)
The photos from my Boudoir session were amazing. I almost look like a model. I purchased the "little black book" for my then-boyfriend and also the high-res images on CD. I was very pleased with both products.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jamie and Natalie to anyone. They are friendly and professional, and very easy to talk with. I always felt like they really listened to me, too. They really know what they are doing, and they know how important it is that they do things right, especially when it comes to weddings.
I will be using them to shoot my upcoming wedding.
We hired Borrowed Blue to take our engagement and wedding photos. They were outstanding to work with. They were incredibly patient and flexible--we were planning our wedding from o...
ut of state and they worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. They even met us in NY to take engagement photos. Out of the many vendors we considered we definitely found them to have the most flexible and reasonable photo packages, which worked out perfectly. In addition, they turned around our photos within a short amount of time, which was great because we couldn't wait to see the end results. We are more than happy with the quality of their work and the creativity that they brought to all of our photographs.
It took us months to make this huge decision! after going back and forth we decided to go with the more expensive vendor because we trusted they knew what they were doing more.the ...
packages start at 2,900.... which to me is high for only a few hours. and all you get is a disk. we went with the next level up 3900 and got one album and a disk. during the wedding my bridesmaids said they had to keep on them a bit. I had a whole zip drive of photos i wanted taken and they discuaged me from sharing them she made me feel like it wasnt ness. I told them on my wedding day that i wanted to get the BIG family formals inside during the reception, before i knew it the wedding was over and i had no family shots! the venue had a beautiful ceiling with starlight fiber optics and a huge chandiler... they never got it in any of my photos!... they had the dj in the backround instead! WTH!
overall we had some good shots, but i really expected to be over the moon with at least one shot, i wasnt. I felt that they put more emphasis on thier advertising products and less on the actual outcome and happiness of the customer. i told her how dissapointed i was, she offered to take more shots at the site on a later date! i didnt want to try to have a fake wedding day! are you kidding? go get my hair done and pretend like its the most important day of my life again? Im just saying, my friends and family got the majority of my FAVORITE shots. which is expected but not when you pay so much for a vendor. I would say that everyone has bad days... i just wish it wasnt on my wedding day, thank god i had a photo booth and a videographer!!!!! i dont think they looked at the venue or even the website before my big day. On another note... one pose i snagged my dress on a chair and said oh no.... and then when she went to pose us again ,she said , "oh i dont want you to snag your dress:" oin a nasty tone.... like i wasnt stressed enough... she made me feel like i was being unreasonable for saying "oh no" .... whatever... my advice is to pay less and have friends take photos.... more is always better
