r, I honestly rolled my eyes because I’ve always been the most Type A person — the one who organizes every event, handles every detail, and is glued to my phone making sure things run smoothly. I thought, “I don’t need a planner.” But The Baumberhof recommended Borrowed Charm, and Borrowed Charm immediately paired me with Sydney, saying she would be the perfect fit. From our very first Zoom call before I even hired her, I could feel that they were right. We clicked instantly. She understood my personality, my taste, and my wedding vision in a way that felt shockingly natural. We talked through the specific things I cared about, the things I didn’t want to see, the aesthetic, the vibe… and she mirrored all of it effortlessly. By the time I officially hired her, she had essentially already planned out my entire wedding. And the craziest part is… every single vendor she chose was flawless. We didn’t have to “test” second choices or compromise. Every choice was THE choice. The food was the most elegant catering I’ve ever seen. The florist was the most artistic, visionary person. The DJ fit the exact vibe I wanted. Everything felt handpicked with intention, taste, and heart. Throughout the whole planning process, I kept hearing people talk about wedding stress, and I didn’t relate at all? because I had NONE. Zero. Sydney handled every single detail while still making sure every decision stayed true to who I am. She never pushed. She never assumed. She listened, asked the right questions, requested the right reference photos, and had this unbelievable ability to stay completely aligned with my vision while taking the entire workload off my shoulders. Then came the actual wedding day… And I could cry thinking about it in the BEST way! This was the first day in my entire life where I didn’t have to be the one managing everything. I didn’t answer one text, solve one problem, redirect one person, or check in on one detail. Sydney protected my peace and my joy from sunup to sundown. She handled every moment, every change, every challenge, especially the weather. I was adamant that I would never have a Plan B. I wanted my outdoor ceremony, no matter what. But when the weather shifted, Sydney — with honesty, kindness, and confidence — told me we needed to move it inside. And she created a ceremony inside that was more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed of outside. It was breathtaking. She transformed a backup plan into something that genuinely felt like it was always meant to be. Every single person in my life has told me my wedding was perfect. And it truly was, but only because of Sydney. She wasn’t just a planner. She was my advocate, my calming presence, my creative partner, and the reason I got to experience my wedding day fully, peacefully, and joyfully. We especially loved all of the rentals from BC and details I wouldn’t have ever thought of, which added such a perfect touch to the space. We honestly couldn’t have done it without her, and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. We’re endlessly grateful for all the time, care, and creativity she put into making our day so special, and we’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

Both worked tirelessly with my daughter,  her fiancé/husband and me to create the most stress-free planning of every detail leading up to and including their wedding day, October 11, 2025, turning their dream wedding into a reality.  Angie is full of creative ideas and suggestions and Amanda is extremely organized and efficient with regular scheduled meetings and emails to keep the planning process on schedule. I don’t know how anyone pulls off a perfect wedding without these two.  They made the planning process a joy with great memories. We missed them when it was over! We trusted their recommendations for vendors and were very pleased with all of them. Knowing they had used them numerous other times gave us comfort and confidence in the quality of their service we were expecting.  In addition to their superb planning services, Borrowed Charm has an extensive inventory of beautiful and unique rental items including furniture, florals, decor, place settings and more. These items perfectly completed the wedding day look.  Wedding planning services are a significant investment and Borrowed Charm was worth every penny. I highly recommend them. They will not disappoint.
