tie and Mia photos leading up to the wedding and they captured exactly what I was looking for! I loved my hair and makeup and felt like I looked exactly like me! We had 9 bridesmaids and Katie and Mia were super flexible to work on a schedule to start as late as possible but also with enough time to not feel rushed! Denise and Kristina were fabulous as well and my bridesmaids loved them! My bridesmaids looked gorgeous and we’re so happy with their hair and makeup! I couldn’t be happier with Boston Beauty Network and would 100% recommend!

was a little disappointing but Katie and Mia quickly got me on the books for a date and time that worked for myself and the person I was bringing. The trial was great! I worked with Ashley and Denise for my makeup and hair. They did an amazing job! On the day of, everyone was great with communication. I have a big wedding party and we ended up running slightly behind but that's to be expected - it didn't mess up my timeline at all and everyone was finished by the time they needed to be. Generally, communication post booking was good and I had a few allergies in the party to products and that was taken seriously and accommodated - much appreciated! Everyone looked stunning and we were all super happy!

ugh things in the trial and came super prepared! Multiple of my bridesmaids commented on how great she was (both make-up and personality)! My negative feedback comes a bit from communication on the company side. Prior to booking with Boston Beauty Network, the owners were super attentive, did a phone call with me with both on the line. They both made a point to come introduce themselves to me during the trial. After booking, email response time was not great. I'm not a super needy person but I found in the process of wedding planning that communication and responsiveness is super key to being able to plan a wedding while juggling regular life, so I wanted to leave honest feedback about that part of my experience. The owners were super nice and I know wedding seasons are crazy, but definitely an area for improvement

The option to pay ahead of my wedding day was very convenient- no one wants to worry about payment and tipping math the morning of their big day! Mia and Katie also did my engagement pictures and bridal shower hair & makeup and did a fantastic job. Thank you Katie and Mia for being professional, clean, friendly, and fantastic at what they do- I would recommend them to any bride! I never knew getting makeup done could be so fun.

& Katie were so helpful and accommodating! My trial was set for Columbus day weekend, the day of our engagement pictures (pro tip, have your trial & photos the same day!). It ended up raining and they worked with my photographer and myself to pick a new date! I loved how everything looked and after the trial they even fixed my hair and makeup so my then fiancé, wouldn't know what I would look like on our wedding day! A year later I decided I wanted to switch up my hair and they had another trial with me! Come November Covid started to hit hard again. I had some family members decide not to get ready with us and the number of people getting ready kept changing. Mia & Katie were so helpful and supportive and rewrote the schedule a few times! The best day ever! Waking up the morning of our wedding I was so nervous! Right when Mia, Katie, and their two other makeup artists walked in my nerves went away! They were so upbeat and excited! They danced and sang along with the music and made everything so fun. All of my bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother looked amazing! What I loved is that even though their hair and makeup were done, they still looked like themselves! A few of my bridesmaids asked to switch their hair up a little and they were so understanding and stayed to do it. They also did touch ups which was so helpful! My hair and makeup didn't budge or fade after numerous boat rides, windy salty ocean air, and lots of dancing. On my wedding day, they arrived on time and set up in my hotel room. It was just myself, Kate, Mia, my maid of honor, and photographer. My photographer commented on how 'neat and clean' their setup was compared to all the weddings she's done in the past. They kept me calm and on time and stayed with me right up until I left for my first look ensuring everything was perfect before I went to see my husband. I truly cannot recommend Boston Beauty Network enough.. I wish I could get married again just to have Kate and Mia make me feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding again!

One bridesmaid pulled me aside while we were getting ready and said to me, "I think this is the first time I have ever been in a wedding where everyone is completely happy with their makeup." It's true. My friends and I have been in many, many weddings together and one or more of us usually find ourselves in the bathroom secretly trying to fix our makeup. That was definitely not the case with Katie. She matched everyone's skin perfectly and listened to their preferences. A few weeks after my trial I decided that I wanted to make my look a little bit more dramatic and Katie helped me execute that on my wedding day. She is kind and talented, exactly the kind of person you want to be around the morning of your wedding. I simply cannot say enough good things about Katie and I hope to work with her again in the future!

l party looked gorgeous! I had the opportunity to meet Katie to do my makeup for our engagement photos earlier in the year. Due to weather, we had a last minute change with the day and she was so nice and flexible to make sure she could accommodate the different date. I was so impressed with my makeup for my engagement shoot I knew I wanted her to do my makeup for the wedding. She nailed in again at my makeup trial for the wedding and of course on my wedding day. She arrived on early, kept everyone on schedule, and honestly was just super friendly to be around. Her and her colleague Mia (who did everyone's hair) were so comfortable to talk to and be in the room all day with us. I could not recommend them enough! I have already recommended her to a few friends of mine that are getting married next year. She is the best!

However, when she was done, my eyebrows were darker than we had ever discussed, I had the wrong lip color on (though I couldn't tell at the time because she was telling me it was the right color and I don't wear lip color very often), and my eyelashes were WAY longer than anything we had done or talked about in either trial. I asked her in disbelief if the lashes were the same as the lashes we did in the first trial and she answered yes, but photo comparisons between my first trial and the wedding day prove that they were not the same length. She put extremely long, fake-looking lash extensions on me for my wedding day, which was a look I absolutely did not want. At the time, we were running very late (due to hair and makeup) and literally did not have time to redo anything, especially all of the lashes. When I tried to address these concerns with Katie a couple of days later, she blamed me for everything, saying I didn't know what I wanted (even though I explicitly asked her for exactly what I wanted that morning -- she just didn't do it) and repeatedly sent me a link to the bill, which I had already paid. I will have to live with the look I had on my wedding day for the rest of my life, while I felt that all she cared about was making sure she got paid. Overall, I regret using Katie as my makeup artist for my wedding. If you want a very natural look for your wedding, or if you want your wedding day makeup to look anything like your trial, I suggest looking for a different vendor.

My bridesmaids and my mom looked gorgeous. In addition to being a great makeup artist, Katie was also very professional. She was a great communicator leading up to my trial and my wedding and was prompt and professional on the big day (she drove 2 hours to my venue and arrived early before our 8:30AM start). I felt very at-ease while we were getting ready even though there were a lot of "moving parts" with everyone needing their hair and makeup done by 2PM sharp before my "first look" photos. Katie worked seamlessly with my hair stylist to make sure all of the girls were ready to go in time. I am so glad I decided to work with Katie for my wedding. I would definitely recommend Katie for any bride who wants to look beautiful on her wedding day!
