Elly, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for officiating our most special day. We picked Elly as our celebrant because she had a unique-story telling style that really spoke to our intimate ceremony. She had us fill out questionnaires to get to know us and delivered a beautiful speech highlighting our love for one another and our families. We loved that she had a variety of vows to choose from and provided all the necessary steps for ensuring our paperwork was in order. During the pandemic she was incredibly accommodating and helped host a virtual rehearsal dinner which was perfect with our busy schedules. Hiring Elly as our officiant was the first thing my fiancée and I agreed on when wedding-planning. We knew right away we were in good hands, and Elly certainly didn't let us down. She alleviated all of our anxieties (spoken and unspoken) at the rehearsal dinner, and after our wedding many of our guests said it was the best ceremony they'd ever been to. Elly Jackson is wonderful to work with. She is also a great writer, and she put together a "Love Story" to tell at our wedding ceremony recently. I knew my husband and I loved her story because we got to see it and approve of it in advance, and when she recited it at our ceremony, she had our guests in tears and laughing at all the right moments. It was lovely to work with her - she is kind, sweet, patient, and easy-going. She has a very warm voice that I immediately knew was what I wanted to hear on my wedding day! Elly was an awesome officiant. She is willing to work with you on every detail to make your ceremony exactly how you want it. One of the cool things that she does is a love story in which you and your significant other fill out a questionnaire (without peeking) and then she takes your answers and writes a 3-4 page story about the two of you. We both got several compliments about the ceremony afterwards all were glowing positive reviews. We would highly recommend Elly to anyone.

We loved Elly! She was a dream to work with! We moved to CA right after we got engaged, so had to plan our wedding remotely. Elly was super flexible and we even did a Skype date to meet her and get a sense of her style. Elly had us fill out a ~20 question form so she could create our “Love Story” and it turned out to be everything we wanted in a ceremony! It was non-denominational, fun, lighthearted, silly, and very sentimental. I’m so happy we purchased videography so we could have her words captured forever! I HIGHLY recommend Elly for your ceremony!

Elly was such a great find--we knew from our very first phone conversation that we could stop looking. She has a very kind personality, yet is clearly also very passionate about what she does, and put us at ease right away. We met with her in her home before signing a contract, and once done, she took it from there. One of her unique offerings is her Love Story, based on questions that the bride and groom answer independently. We opted for the short version, which was perfect. She also helped us select readings and other elements to be incorporated into our ceremony. Elly helped us see the ceremony as something that we could make really unique and memorable, not just something that gets the back burner when it comes to many more details involved in planning the reception. We had many guests raving about the ceremony, saying that it was so different from what they had seen before. After the wedding, Elly also sends a keepsake book that includes all of your reading and other ceremony details, a nice extra to hold on to for the future. Elly helped to make our day unique and memorable--we couldn't have been happier.

I can't say good enough things about Elly. She is such a joy to work with and she knows how to make your special day extra special. When I first met her, I knew that we were in great hands. She made our wedding ceremony romantic, fun and lively. Our guests were laughing (and crying!) the whole time, which is exactly what we wanted. People often downplay the importance of the wedding ceremony, focusing more on the party at the reception; but early on in wedding planning, I read an article that stressed the importance of the ceremony and how it will set the mood for your entire day. After our wedding in May 2015, I can wholeheartedly say that I 100% believe this, and I can tell you that you will not regret having Elly Jackson set the mood for your day. We opted for Elly’s Full Love Story Wedding. It was so personalized, romantic, and at times funny. Your guests will be laughing and crying throughout. Our story gave the perfect glimpse into our relationship. The guests that weren’t as familiar with our story got to learn more about us, and even the guests that were familiar told us afterwards that it was still fun to hear Elly’s spin on things. I still cannot believe all the compliments we got on our ceremony. Everyone truly loved it and it really made the rest of our day that much more meaningful for everyone. A true dream come true. We knew that we wanted to hire Elly from our very first meeting. She was so kind and funny. Elly was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning and was willing to personalize our ceremony in any way that we asked. I cannot recommend hiring Elly enough. Elly Jackson was the officiant for our May 2015 wedding. From the moment we met Elly, she made us feel at ease and like we were her only clients. I have no idea how Elly created "Our Love Story" from the pitiful answers we provided her, but the story was amazing! It was light and airy yet very meaningful to both my husband and myself. Elly does this amazing thing where she will write your love story and create a wedding ceremony around that story. My husband and I opted for the abbreviated love story. Elly is a a very talented writer and public speaker and I loved the way she brought my husband's and my love story to life to share with our guests. She is very friendly and professional and extremely talented. My wedding ceremony was perfect thanks to Elly.

From the moment we met Elly we knew we wanted her to write and officiate our wedding ceremony! She is warm and friendly, very responsive to questions, and wonderful at her job. We used the 'short love story' option, and it was perfect. She captured us, our families, and our feelings for each other in ~three pages of story. Elly wrote us a beautiful love story that she read in front of everyone. She sent both me and my husband a questionnaire of about 30 questions and we had to answer them and email them back. She also emailed 4 of our closest family members or friends. We each gave her 2 names of who we thought knew us best, and then she emailed them with a questionnaire also. Our love story d us matched perfectly! She is very creative and fun, and she is wiling to do whatever you want!

Elly's organization, sweet nature and humor won me and my husband over during our very first meeting. Elly put us at ease throughout the entire process and wrote an incredibly touching love story that brought the entire church to tears. Her experience is obvious and her way with words is amazing!
