We just had our wedding in June at the Marriott in Cambridge. After a few staffing changes, we worked with Michaela and Jack, who were so responsive, attentive and friendly the wee...
ks before our wedding with all of the final touches!! I would definitely say this is one of the more inclusive venues, as we were able to use a lot of vendors (cake, chair/table rentals, uplighting) through them. Their wait staff was so amazing with our rather large and rowdy group, but most importantly people could not stop raving about the food!! We got so many compliments about the food at both the cocktail hour and reception, and they really maintained a personal touch with the executive chef coming to congratulate us on the day. We made a point to make sure we ate after getting a preview at the tasting!!They updated their ballroom before COVID, and with their uplighting our photos came out amazing. They also let us rent out a room for an after party and a brunch. We wanted a place with as much included as possible given a lot of our guests were traveling, and we really appreciated all the touches this venue provided, including an incredible bridal suite to get ready that morning. We are Marriott Bonvoy members, so we could be slightly biased, but it was really all the little details that made up the big things that matter on this day so amazing. Huge thank you to the Marriott staff, and for anyone looking for a hotel ballroom venue near the city, would 10/10 recommend! Thanks again Michaela, Jack & Ola!!!
We had the most amazing wedding at the Marriott in Cambridge . With some staffing changes my husband and I went through a few wedding coordinators at the hotel, but eventually we e...
nded up with Ola who was awesome!! She was so friendly and professional and really helped to make our special day go off without a hitch. She and the rest of the Team were so responsive to any questions we had and really made the planning process so easy!! From the set up of everything the day of, the scheduling of the pre wedding appointments and the overall organization of everything I am so happy we chose to have our wedding here! We are sad it’s over, but definitely have a lot of fun memories thanks to the entire team at the Cambridge Marriott!
We used the Marriott for our room block and wedding suite. They were so easy to work with, super accommodating, and helped us every step of the way!
While our wedding ceremony and reception took place in Boston, the Boston Marriott Cambridge offered the best group rate we could find in the Boston metro area by a wide margin for...
the weekend of our wedding. Not only did we get a fantastic rate, the staff helped us coordinate a number of additional events in the hotel, such as a private appetizer reception for out of town guests the first night and a great brunch the Sunday after the wedding. Their event manager, Emily, and our event assistant, Erin, were always quick to respond to our questions, provided us frequent guest list updates and most importantly, coordinated the handing out of boxes of cannoli from Mike's Pastry to all the incoming wedding guests on Friday night (which was a major hit). We even got back from our wedding to a nice thoughtful surprise from our Emily, her staff, and the concierge.
Everyone enjoyed their stay at the Boston Marriott Cambridge, and we're actually looking forward to staying there again next time we are in town!
We were looking at wedding venues in hotels in Boston/Cambridge that would allow our many out of town guests to attend the wedding and also sightsee using the T. The Cambridge Mar...
riott offered the best value, of all the venues we considered We loved having our cocktail hour and formal portraits in the rooftop garden, and we loved having our wedding reception in the grand ballroom, with the high ceiling and four beautiful crystal chandeliers. Our Marriott wedding planner left one month before our wedding, but Jill, the Director of Special Events, stepped in and followed up on all the details to ensure our wedding was a spectacular success. The entire Marriott staff was so friendly and helpful to us and our out-of-town guests. We had an uneven menu tasting early on, but on the day of our wedding, all of our menu selections were prepared perfectly, receiving compliments from our guests! The Cambridge Marriott did a superb job of making our wedding day an immense success for us and all of our wedding guests!
Beautiful venue, contemporary decor. Lots of options for pictures, cocktail hours and reception. The planners there (although sometimes hard to get in touch with) were very helpful...
and takes care of everything on the day of. It is also a very well priced venue in the Boston-Cambridge area and it's just so beautiful.
I would always recommend this venue.
