nd received a response back very quickly. From there communications with the team started off great and we ended up booking The Club Room (former office room right off of the stairwell). The Club Room was small enough to host our micro wedding of about 20 people, but large enough for them to have room and not feel cramped. Communication did faulter a bit in the middle, and we had friends who had a really bad experience here with their wedding so we did become a bit nervous around the halfway point. Before our halfway point meeting, we were informed that we would have a new lead coordinator, who ended up being the best. We also discovered our friends issues revolved around the food and alcohol contract and with their coordinator struggling to keep up with communications and documenting the request they made. Their coordinator was not our new coordinator thankfully (I heard from a mutual that their coordinator may not work there anymore). My husband and I did chose not to do a food and alcohol contract just in case, but also due to our bridal party being very small and the reception being hosted off premises. When we checked in, we immediately felt calm. Typically everyone panics or is stressing right before the wedding, but the atmosphere of the hotel is calming...could partially be the scent of the hotel, they have candles and room sprays called Relax and it smells incredible! (I bought some at the end of our stay and now my house smells incredible). We got a Terrace room and it felt so bright and welcoming and calming. It was hard leaving at checkout. We did have two small hiccup with The Club Room arrangements. When we mentioned that the stairwell door to the club room needed to be unlocked so i can make the entrance, and that the seating chart we sent over wasn't perfect (they have a clause about not moving furniture yourself - understandable) it was practically immediately it was fixed. When we discovered my husbands family was running late, causing our ceremony to start later than planned, the staff not only did not rush us to get out, they let us stay in the room longer than we had originally planned. They also opened up a side door in the room for the family so they were not walking in front of the other guest/by the alter. Lastly, the staff reached out to us while we were at dinner and let us know when we returned they would be providing us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, a very appreciated gift after our wedding was delayed by others. Overall our experience with The Bottleworks was wonderful. We felt incredible relaxed and comfortable there and we plan on visiting again. My only advise is to make sure everything is in writing when communicating (advise from someone who worked in event planning for many years), and to just really go over the food and alcohol policy really well before signing.
