We we pretty disappointed with our experience with our wedding flowers. We picked Boulder Blooms off of a list from our inclusive package at Lionscrest Manor. We sat down and met with one representative when we were in town (we live in Texas an...d made a special trip to meet with vendors). She was very helpful and very sweet, but we came to find out that the day we met was her last day at Boulder Blooms and we were handed off to someone else. The person we were handed off to took forever to get back to me, acted like I was inconveniencing her with my questions and neglected to answer some of my questions fully. With our inclusive package, we had $750 of flowers included, so I made the bouquets and some other flowers myself. I know flowers are expensive, and I tried to stay within budget. I ordered my bouquet, two corsages, 8 centerpieces, the flower girl's petals and an altarpiece. The center pieces were $40 each, but tiny and ugly. My bouquet was beautiful, as was the altarpiece, but I was upset with the puny centerpieces we paid $320 for.
The day before the wedding, someone else from Boulder Blooms, not the one who had been working with us called me and told me that hydrangeas, my flower of choice was ordered and on its way, but wanted to warn me that hydrangeas wilt rather quickly. she persuaded me to change to blue delphinium blooms. THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. I was tankful that she had told me this, but why on earth had no one said anything while we planned the flowers????? So I had hydrangeas for my bouquet and that was it. So nothing really flowed the way I wanted it. The day of the wedding, whoever was there setting the flowers out seemed rather reluctant to attach a kissing ball that I had bought to arch. She did, but wasn't very pleasant about it.
They "included" flowers to put in a water fountain, cake flowers and a toss bouquet. However I had tried to explain that I already had a toss bouquet and cake flowers, I felt obligated to use theirs that they brought anyways because I didn't want them to go to waste. Not included in the inclusive package however was a $125 service fee for delivery, which I didn't know until the last minute, as well as tax on the flowers, which I thought any unspent money from the included $750 would go towards, but of course it didn't.
