Boulevard Brewing Co

ha) were wonderful as well and they all made sure everything went smoothly. So thankful for them.

very beautiful venue. and a great compromise when it comes to alcohol. I didn't want hard liquor at my wedding. They offered a very wide variety of beer selections and was a huge hit with our guest. Now, the problem. Boulevard was usually really great at responding back. However, when it got closer to our wedding I wanted to change our layout. There were tables clear off to the right side of the bar and the guest that would sit there would not see anything. It pretty much excludes them. Our amazing DJ found a solution to this problem and presented it to Boulevard. That was on a Friday. They said they would get back to us to see if this was doable. Well they didn't get back to us till thrusday of next week and I needed to submit a final floor plan the next day. (Friday) my wedding planner, husband and myself sent emails and tried to call but to no avail. This was super frustrating and left a really sour taste in our mouth. We have told vendors what has happened and the ones that worked with Boulevard before agreed that they are very resistant to any type of change so keep that in mind. Also originally Blue was the person that helped us reserve our date and the go person for any questions. All the sudden it switched to Nicole and we were informed that she is taking over. Which is fine. However, she told us we needed submit a final payment. I looked at the contract it was 30 days over due and not one person reached out to me about this. I was the one to find this out and get that payment submitted as soon as I saw it was over do. Also we had pint glasses that are party favors. Nichole informed us when she took over we needed to submit a design that day! Once again no warning or anything. Pint glasses were mentioned in 2020 but your wedding becomes so over taking you will not remember everything. Which usually vendors send out friendly reminders that something is due soon. We felt blind sighted and were scambbling to find a design. Nichole extended the dead line to I think 3 days and we got it in on the first day. But getting that email that this needs to be done right now and we need to know how many ect. Is super stressful. I talked to one of my professors who had both of her daughters receptions done at bolvarude. I told her our experience and she said it sounds like they forgot about you guys. Which I think she is right. This venue is not cheap and to be forgotten about is unsettling.

e beer and Kansas City so decided to look into it just for fun. It is actually so reasonably priced considering that all the alcohol (BLVD beers and house wines which were delicious) are completely included in the rental price. The personalized pint glasses were a hit with our guests and are a fun favor that people will actually use. Blue and Nicole were amazing to work with and responsive when I had questions. We are so happy with our choice!!

and took a proactive approach to avoid potential issues ahead of our reception. We never had to worry about anything on the day of the wedding because we knew it was taken care of. In addition to the stunning views of the skyline, the awesome beer, and the relatively affordable price tag, the experience was second to none. From start to finish and during some stressful times with COVID, Blue and his staff were wonderful to us and very patient and understanding. We couldn’t have been more impressed with them.

place for a reception!

I personally would recommend 160 guests or less if you plan to do any extras like a photo booth, appetizer table, etc!! We had 120 and it was absolutely perfect.

was so responsive, sympathetic, and flexible! I am so thankful to have worked with such a kind individual! The Muehlebach Suite there is so cool though! I would highly recommend checking them out!

arrived for photos, the excellent staff opened up a couple different parts of the brewery for us to find something just a cool for photos and escorted all out family to the secondary location for photos. After group photos they escorted the family back to the venue, poured my husband and me beers, and let us take super fun photos on the bar. The venue even comes with unlimited beer and wine and custom made Boulevard pint glasses for all of your guests! Best of all it was all a steal for $5,000! I can not recommend Boulevard Brewing highly enough!

lking about the beautiful venue and how great the glasses were for a party favor. I cannot say enough things about the venue from the beginning of our experience. We used the Muehlbach suite and their was plenty of space for our guests. I am so happy we used Boulevard!

of people there was plenty of spacing between tables and a sizable dance floor. Boulevard worked hand in hand with our vendors so during our big day we had 0 issues and no communication problems. The staff was absolutely outstanding from beginning to end! Kristen was super helpful during all of our walk throughs and she really understood what we wanted and our expectations and she did not disappoint. Emily was also amazing! From before the wedding to the end she made sure my wife and I had everything we wanted, made sure things were going with the timeline and even kept us informed prior to each timed event during the reception. Our ceremony was on the terrace which was beautiful with the Kansas City skyline in the back drop. It also had plenty of room for seated and standing guests. The venue itself is very unique with windows looking down on the brewery, the skyline and the round table bar with 10 or so beers on tap! Plus wine, sodas and water. I would highly recommend Boulevard for any wedding, corporate or personal events!

evening. Where to begin? First off, Bouelvard's staff is AMAZING. Kristen Pevely is hands down the perfect person to be helping people have the best experience on their special day. She was easy to communicate with, and helped us in any way possible. At the beginning of the planning stages, we were given a list of preferred vendors, which helped a lot. Since Boulevard is a landfill-free company, it was a breeze having people there who knew what they were doing. Our ceremony was out on the terrace, which was absolutely stunning. The backdrop for our ceremony was the KC skyline (which was important to me because I had many of my family and friends coming in from St. Louis). After the ceremony guests were able to head inside to enjoy 7-9 beers on tap as well as red/white wine, soda, and water (all included in the price). At the end of the night, the staff helped clean up, and all of our guests were able to walk away with awesome custom-made Boulevard pint glasses. I highly suggest booking your wedding with Boulevard for a smooth and flawless evening! We would have not done it any differently!

great beer!!

ere technically past the date (we got married on April 2), which was so kind. Even though it is expensive, the price is worth it for the location, venue, customer service, and the sheer amount of what's included. Having so much included makes wedding planning MUCH easier. The staff were very helpful, and we had no problems. Bartenders were great, and the pint glasses as party gifts were amazing. Our guests still talk about them. Highly recommend.

r making our wedding perfect -- we could not have asked for anything better!

issues with them throughout the entire process. Our wedding was 6 months ago and our guests are still commenting how amazing the venue was and, of course, how good the beer was. Thank you for everything you did to make the wedding planning process simple and our actual wedding day so perfect.

overall experience, there was no question we wanted to have our wedding there. Reception AND ceremony. Blue and Kristin were attentive to our every need and want, and made it so easy! They were very laid back, and provided immediate answers to any question I might have. There were so many small extras that I didn't even realize were happening, that made the whole experience incredible. For example, they told me there would be two bartenders...but there were two trainees who helped out, and were completely amazing as well! Side note: no one will say that you should tip them, but the service is so incredible make sure you manage your budget to tip your staff and bartenders too!

the perfect space for our reception. Boulevard was awesome!

albums of us as kids to spark some conversation. We were able to go about an hour before the event started to take photos with our photographer and set up. Our bartender was very nice and accommodating. And as usual, the beer was delicious! Trying to think of another event we can have to go back ❤️

nning process so easy and enjoyable. The bartenders during the event were so much fun! I cannot put into words how much I appreciate everything Boulevard did for us and our wedding reception. Boulevard has my highest recommendation.

ommend this venue...I hope we can have use this space again for something in the future!!

hat Boulevard offers. The majority of our guests were out of town and I loved that the venue represents Kansas City so well. Boulevard has very strict rules on what is allowed in so they are able to remain ecofriendly. I thought it would be tough to find things that were approved, but they work with you to let you know what materials are acceptable in their facility. We loved every second of our experience with Boulevard.

thing went splendidly! Blue and Nicole were always available to talk, and made our process incredibly smooth! They do have very strict rules about trash so you will need to make sure your caterer is okay with making sure everything can go in a compost pile. Also, bartenders were friendly, awesome, accommodating, knowledgeable and passionate about the beers they serve. A special thanks to Dean behind the bar for going the extra mile! Everything was organized, it was nice and cool (since it was 96 degrees that day!) and the venue was beautiful. Overall, we would recommend Boulevard to anyone!

asy! Although there isn't too much included - tables, chairs, beer and wine, it was easy to get vendors to work with for food, bakery, linens, floral, and DJ. Vendors are excited to work with Boulevard to make your day extra special. The only hiccup we had was our gift, personalized pint glasses, had a misprint so guests received the standard Boulevard glass. This is so small and they were very apologetic about the incident. No skin off our backs. We would recommend Boulevard for a reception to anyone! Great venue that our guests LOVED! From the beers to the downtown views from the patio - PERFECT for a KC Wedding. :):) Thank you, Boulevard!

e reception they kept checking in with me (mother of the bride) and with the bride and groom to make sure everything was OK and to see if we needed anything. When it came time for cleanup, they helped load and provided carts to get everything to our car. They were absolutely amazing! It couldn't have been a more perfect evening - they were so accommodating and terrific to work with. Our other vendors even commented about how great it was to do a reception at Boulevard because they really know what they are doing. They are organized and attentive to every detail. The room was gorgeous and they provided everything we needed. Nicole and Brice were especially wonderful and helpful.

ed. No extra fees popped up. They were very flexible with some of our requests and went out of their way to help us with a few things. One of my bridesmaids fell and scraped both her legs and our event planner patched her up. The awesome bar staff also helped clean up the room and load the car. Both of those things were above and beyond what I expected. As a bonus, they include a personalized pint glass for each guest and they turned out awesome. Could not say more good things about them. We had a great time and it was well worth it. We would book with them again in a heartbeat.

l. All of the staff was incredibly professional and accommodating. They worked with us to get the floor plan we wanted and worked with all of our other vendors. Something to beware of is that they are a zero landfill facility, so you can't generate trash. Because of that, we had to rent real china, etc... This wasn't a problem for us, but is something you should beware of before pursuing.

est layout and the bartenders kept the glasses full. This was such a great night, thank you Boulevard!

re such a treat and their wine is great! My only complaint is that you can't book longer than their set times. The wedding came and went and I don't remember a thing because it went by so fast. We even asked to pay to rent it longer when we first booked the space, but we were told that was not an option. Since we held our ceremony on the balcony it didn't give us as much time for the reception. We only had 4 hours to get in, get married, and have the reception. The guests (and us) were having such a great time that we didn't want to leave.

LY recommended!!

as the number of beers they originally said they would offer my guests; it was a few lower than what I was told. It's a nice space, though!

ry penny. From the beer and wine (obviously great) to the service (very friendly and professional) and the personalized pint glasses-we loved every minute of it but it went way too fast. We want a re-do!! :) We used the Muelhbach room and had Deco Catering from down the street as our caterer. We hired a DJ and got cupcakes from Baby Cakes in River Market. Everything was great!!

staff went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with our event! They made sure my husband, our parents and I always had a full beer. I never went to the bar the entire night, their staff brought beer to me. Also, the groom's cake and personalized pint glasses as favors provided by Boulevard was quite a hit! We would highly recommend having your wedding event at the brewery!

glasses and open bar of their beer. The view from the balcony is amazing!

they made everything easy. During the reception, the staff was fantastic! They were helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to make our reception the best time of our lives. The space at Boulevard is spectacular. The circle bar and huge patio made a big impression on us and our guests. I would not have wanted to have our reception any other place in Kansas City.

The weather was really nice and a lot of people hung out on the terrace. We used 3, 8ft. tables for our head table and 15 round tables. Then we had 11 cocktail tables and a kid's table in the back. The buffet was also made up of 3, 8ft tables. It all looked tight on the floor plan, but the space was PERFECT! I have heard nothing but great things from my guests, everyone just adored the space. Marla and Blue were also great to work with in coordinating the event, and my florist and caterer both had nothing but good things to say about the bartenders who were there to help with the set up before the event. I would recommend Boulevard to anyone who wants a cool atmosphere with a great terrace!

er looked back. The venue was ideal for us, because we didn't want to decorate too much and wanted a casual feel. They accomodated our caterers, DJ and guests- and made all the planning very easy. They were available by phone or email at any time and provided detailed maps of table set-up and other options. The venue price included the drinks (Boulevard Beer and Wine, soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea), the staff, parking, etched glasses for each guest, and a groom's cake that looked like a beer cooler!! The outdoor terrace area had a beautiful view of the city, and we could not have asked for a better reception venue!
