Boulevard Bridal & Prom

The owner, Karen, was AWFUL to deal with. First: we got yelled at for touching the dresses before someone could help us. We didn't like how snippy they were, but it was whatever. They were nice enough the rest of the time. Second: my friend & I secretly bought the dress our other friend picked out so we could surprise her at her engagement party. We explicitly told the staff to keep it a secret & just tell her that the dress had already been purchased by someone else. When our friend called the store a few days later to see about the dress, the staff member told her that her friends already bought it for her. Third: I called to tell the manager (it ended up being the owner, Karen) that my friend, our friend's fiance, and I were all extremely disappointed that they ruined the surprise. I mostly just wanted an apology and any attempt to make reparations. Instead, Karen tried to pin it on us saying that she felt uncomfortable with the situation (even though she was more than happy to be part of the surprise last weekend). The worst part is that she was EXTREMELY rude to me! She cut me off multiple times, she repeatedly told me to "get over myself," she even said, "screw you," & then she hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. This kind of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE from any employee. I asked who she reported to, and she just said, "I'm the owner! How do you think this works?" So I made it my business to make sure she doesn't get more business. I used to refer people here because of the affordable dresses, but it's not worth putting up with the rude staff members! TL;DR: The owner (Karen) ruined a surprise from the bride's friends & groom, then she was super rude when I called to let them know how disappointed we were.
