Bouquet Sound delivered a 5 star experience from beginning to end. DJ Matt is about as professional as they come. Not only was he super personable and really easy going to work with, but he was responsive to all of our communication. You could ...
tell that he takes his role very seriously, and really enjoys what he does. Instantly we felt confident that he'd deliver a great party just like we envisioned. He has a great way of relying on his expertise, and still was open and welcoming to our special requests.
By the time our wedding day came around, the music queues were seamless and made each moment so memorable. Matt also was an excellent emcee during our reception and dinner. He's just a PRO... and if the service up until then didn't confirm it, by the end of the night it did.
Unbeknownst to us during dinner, Matt was notified of a family emergency that required his immediate attention. In fact, it was serious enough that it couldn't wait until the end of the night. He was called away almost immediately, but not before he already had another one of his DJs step in on a moment's notice and get them up to speed within a matter of minutes. DJ Jason filled in the rest of the night and kept the party going and it was as seamless as ever... nobody really noticed, even us LOL until our wedding coordinator came up to us to inform us of the situation, but by then the handoff to Jason was already complete. "Things happen" is a just a truism of life, but when they do, you hope that it doesn't interrupt things too bad, especially at your wedding of all things. Matt gave us a masterclass of how to handle such emergencies... and he made sure he had our back and our experience wouldn't suffer.

is out of surgery, but they found major problems. My mind was honestly blown. I immediately called for backup with Jason and got him up to speed as he uses the same exact equipment as me. I had already gotten him squared away so that once he got there I was able to rush out in my car. I would have never left if I didn't have a backup in place. When I MC'd the Grand Entrance I had already received the bad news and was able to focus to deliver the performance you deserved. I didn't want anyone to have any idea there was anything wrong. Following the pre-wedding consultations, DJ Danni completely understood our brief. She played all the songs we requested during our consultation, mixing them in with the rest of her set so none stuck out (So many friends have said their DJ didn’t even play a single song on their “play” list!), and got the style we were looking for, throughout the wedding. Lots of guests told us how good they thought the DJ was! Thanks Danni!
Danni was also the MC and kept things moving and on schedule. She seemed to work well with our coordinator and other vendors. Also her equipment just worked - something we hadn’t even considered until we had been to other weddings where speakers crackled and intermittently dropped out. None of that with DJ Danni.
We had so much fun at our wedding, and a huge part of that was DJ Danni providing the soundtrack to our big day. The music makes such a difference to the atmosphere and DJ Danni was epic! We have no hesitations in recommending her.

had so many great ideas and make sure to have your call with your DJ a week before your wedding (and fill out the questionnaire they give you) because it's so important. DJ Dominiq went over the reasons behind all of our answers and so much of what we talked about ended up happening at the wedding. We had a Zoom meeting to make sure she was the right fit, then a phone call a few weeks before the wedding to make sure every song was communicated. My husband LOVES music and so do I, so we had a lot of "must plays" which we realize can be tricky.
Danni arrived a few hours ahead of time and was overly-prepared for our venue and communicated with our coordinator on the 3 set up areas she had to have.
She played so many songs that we wanted, and still managed to work out what our guests liked and fit the music to that. I got more compliments on our DJ than anything else. Seriously! I think most of our guests stayed on the dance floor all night and so many people have told me "best wedding ever!" since, I think in large part due to Danni. She found such a good groove with music, and also with letting the music speak for itself and not narrating a lot, which is exactly what we wanted. out cocktail hour and the reception, he used his creative freedom (paired with our suggestions and responses to his thorough questionnaire) to make a playlist that all the guests loved. For the Groom/Mother dance, we had a special request to transition from a slow dance song into a dance song and he was able to create a good mix for us that got the crowd off their feet and starting to dance.
On the non-music side of things: he did a great job making announcements for guests, announcing our grand entrance, and moving things along, but did not an overwhelming presence. It is very clear that DJ Dom loves what he does for a living and has years of experience that make his insight and suggestions very valuable.

battling a fairly frigid Southern California night. Still, people were out there on the dance floor having a great time. But it's actually a lack of words, that best describes our experience with Bouquet Sound.
There were two distinct moments that stuck out for us. The first was the grand entrance pep talk, where Dominiq gave us the full rundown of what was going to happen, what we needed to do, and how we needed to do it; it was like having a wedding coach so that we could focus on the moment rather than the procedure. The second was when I went to go request my personal favorite wedding song, SHOUT (by the Isley Brothers). I walked off the floor to make the request as a song was winding down, and Dominiq gave me the "hold on a sec" signal...and before I could even utter a word, he put on that exact song.
Bouquet Sound (especially Dominiq) set the tone for our wedding, and they'll do the same for yours!

Besides all this, there were some communication issues between Dominiq and our venue coordinator. He also really enjoyed leaning into some gimmicky techniques to involve the crowd; which, if it is your thing, you will enjoy. The crowd seemed to really love everything about how the night went, but the communication issues made for some tension between him and the coordinator and put my husband and I in a weird position since the coordinator had been our main point of contact leading up to the event.
Lastly, Dominiq said he would have 4 microphones available (2 lapel, 2 handheld) but only brought 1 handheld mic. We were able to make it work, but when there are so many other details to iron out, this is not the thing you want to think about on your wedding day.
We also opted for the photo booth which was a TOTAL SUCCESS. The attendant was great and we loved having both hard copies for our guests and digital copies sent to us afterwards.
Overall, Dominiq had awesome equipment and good energy that kept everyone singing and dancing all night and none of the guests were aware of any of the small issues we had. I would recommend Dominiq, but just make sure you connect him to your venue coordinator early on so they can touch base before the wedding day.

nd. Many of our friends said during and after that the music kept them captive on the dance floor! Even if many of us weren't dancing by that point, we were belting out lyrics from our souls. Both Dominiq and Josiah were incredibly attentive and receptive to our feedback and requests; they made our gamer wedding all the more fitting throughout the night. Could not recommend better.

t ran smoothly even through the hiccups which are often inevitable during a wedding he was on top of it. During the ceremony or officiant accidentally skipped over the exchange of rings, and he was able to address it in the reception and made it even better than it would have been! We pretty much gave him free reign and he read the mood of the room as well as our guests flawlessly and chose exceptional music every second of the event while simultaneously making it personal to us. People wouldn’t leave the dance floor until the very last second and the song choice to end the night was an absolute win. If it was kosher I would absolutely crash the next event he is hosting just because the experience was that good. BEST NIGHT EVER.

DJ Dominqi made all those notes a reality with so much ease that you wouldnt even know I wrote it out. He got my bridal party hyped up for our grand entrance, spoke to each girl with respect and personality. He came up with an idea for us to run to each table and get photos with everyone. Almost like a game. He got all my guests to set up for a photo Op with us, spoke to the photographers and made it a blast as we ran from table to table to make sure everyone had an opportunity to have a photo with us! Absolutely genius and creative. The dance floor was never once empty. Which in itself tells you how amazing he was! If you are looking for not just a great DJ but a fantastic person who will create memories that will last a life time stop looking and hire DJ Dominqi!
