After many years with my now husband, we decided to get married in our home this past January...it was an intimate and casual wedding with a cozy winter vibe. Flowers had somehow almost slipped my mind, but what woman wouldn't want a stunning bouquet on her special day? I walked into Brenda Christie’s elegant shop-Bouquets & Beyond-and expressed that I would love her expertise. It must be noted that I connected with Brenda a mere couple of weeks before the wedding, in the midst of the holidays, and not only was she willing to contribute her unparalleled skills, but she was excited to make the day as magical as possible. I have always admired her creations, but my bouquet surpassed all expectations and I was touched by the care and artistry that went into it, especially the jasmine tendrils and stephanotis, which smelled divine (it was important that the scent be reflective of me and she took this very seriously). In addition to the bouquet and chic boutonniere, she recommended special touches for the home, including tall vases and floating candles for our fireplace mantle, which provided a romantic look, as well as beautiful centerpieces that she designed with votive candles, roses and gold dollar eucalyptus. It should also be noted that Brenda is incredibly detail oriented and as we live out of state, I had enlisted my mom to pick up the flowers and decor. Brenda was an excellent communicator and provided the tools and guidance so that everything would arrive safely, and in perfect condition. Many people have bigger, more lavish weddings, but that's what's so remarkable about Brenda...she was just as invested in ours, taking into consideration my dress and style, as well as my husband's style, and our home, and her contributions were all I could have hoped for. She elevated everything in a way that completed the picture of a perfect day.

Brenda and her team are absolutely amazing! The way she made our vision come to life, it was breath taking. If I had to do it over again, no doubt would have Brenda do everything! 1000/10 would recommend her any day!

Brenda was phenomenal from our first meeting.. she took time to make sure our flowers were perfectly suited to us. On the wedding day she was prompt and courteous...the flowers were still beautiful a week later! We will definitely use her for all our floral needs in the future

I loved my experience with Brenda - it was easily my favorite part of wedding planning. She was able to special order some of my favorites; caught on to the overall vision I had through both my colors (plum and blush), the season (Autumn) and by encouraging inspiration photos; showed me actual samples of everything she could while I was there; and was realistic and straight forward about cost options. When I showed up to pick up my bouquet, decorative “sprays,” boutonnières, corsages, poseys, and a flower for my hair, I teared up - I felt like she had read my mind. Absolutely gorgeous!! I would 100% recommend her for any event based on my experience.

Brenda was exceptional! She has a very broad and extensive knowledge on flowers and can make just the right bouquet for any bride. My daughter(the bride) and I were incredibly impressed with her expertise and the gorgeous bouquets that she made for us. Thank you so much for making this a very special occasion. I don't know where to start! Brenda has been amazing, not only to me, but to my entire family. We found Brenda before I was engaged, and knew that I needed her for my wedding. She turned my imagination into reality. I cannot thank her for the amazing job she did. Everything we discussed, she did it, even down to the little details. If you are looking for an amazing florist, Brenda should be your number one!

I don't even know where to begin. I had met Brenda through work and instantly saw her passion and creativity shine through. She doesn't just work with flowers, she creates art. When I told her what I was looking for and the budget I wanted to stay within, she told me it might be a little difficult given the season I was looking to get flowers, but she didn't let the discourage me. She instantly gave recommendations and ideas that would help make my wedding flowers a dream come true. It was about a month before the wedding, when my mom and I were doing some final wedding things and I realized we were close to Brenda's Shop. My mother had never met her or seen her designs and i had recently moved to MA so I hadn't seen her in person for a very long time (all details were spoke about over the phone). The instant my mom walk into her shop all her doubts had vanished. She knew that Brenda didn't just owner a flower shop, she loved each and every flower for their beauty and new how to highlight each one. We ended up leaving after buying a handful of roses for my grandmother, which Brenda couldn't let leave the store until she dolled them up a little for the holiday. When the day of the wedding came, the flowers were even more amazing then I could have imagined. They looked so perfect with the gowns and suits that I couldn't have asked for anything else. In fact, I didn't even realize how beautiful they could be until I saw them. Thank you Brenda and thank your Bouquets & Beyond for making my wedding look that much more fantastical. Brenda is the most conscientious, and the most beautiful floral designer I now. I was beyond excited when I saw all the beautiful flowers for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, there were so many personal touches. I was floored by the table decorations all the way down to the boutonnieres. Words can not express how trilled I was with everything. Bouquets and Beyond are #1 in Connecticut as far as I am concerned.

Brenda is honestly the Best! I was very back and forth with what I thought I wanted my vision to be and I changed my mind so many times, she was patient and completely understood each vision I sent her way. She was helpful with budget and tying all of my ideas together. I could not believe what I was seeing when i got my bouquet and saw the venue completed. Just wow. She handled all the decor for the venue and just nailed every detail I would have wanted. Great experience and wonderful working with her.

We had a wedding reception here in a Connecticut and Brenda’s gorgeous shop is just minutes from my house. The moment I walked in to meet with her I felt welcomed and excited! Her flower selection was that of the most unique and fresh flowers! She sat with me and gave me many options for my arrangements that fit into my budget with both buying and renting options of the glassware and candle holders. I was so impressed with how creative she was and all the ideas she had for my flowers. When the day came the arrangements were even more gorgeous then I imagined! She was so attentive to the detail of the arrangements on the tables, the sweetheart table was gorgeous and the cake flowers were remarkable! I will now find any excuse to use Brenda and I trust her creativity and opinions with everything. Brenda is also creating my flower crown for my maternity photo shoot and one for my little one when she is born. I couldn’t imagine using anyone else.

Two years ago, we used Brenda for our October wedding. In our initial meeting, we gave her a basic vision to use brightly colored leaves and sunflowers, and to capture a quintessential New England fall vibe. What she accomplished was nothing short of amazing! Our guests couldn't stop raving about everything, and at the end of the night, her centerpieces were a hot commodity among guests! Brenda is immensely talented, very affordable, and has an incredibly warm heart. You're making a mistake if you choose another florist.

My husband and I got married last June ,and the most best decision we made is our wonderful and amazing florist Brenda.I was speechless with her wonderful job with the tables and the flowers,people were so amazed with my bouquet,my bridesmaids bouquets and not to mention the centerpieces,she took the time to listen what we were looking for ,and she delivered more than we can ask for ,I was so happy that I found Brenda she is unique ,and she will go above and beyond to make your day wonderful with her amazing job and the wonderful flowers ,people keep asking my are they real and I laughed because they were so beautiful and yes I said they are real, they were omg what florist did u go to they loved everything from tables and flowers that Brenda delivered on our wedding day .Thank you so much for making our wedding day as wonderful as you are Brenda.

Brenda from Bouquets & Beyond was the perfect choice for my wedding at Webb Barn on 5/11/19. From my first meeting with Brenda right through my wedding day, I was completely confident that the visual aesthetic of my wedding was in great hands! I had a pretty specific idea of how I envisioned my wedding day to look, but Brenda was able to take that vision & elevate it better than I could have imagined. What I appreciated perhaps the most was her eagerness to work within my budget & how painless the made the process when it came to deciding where we should invest in to make the best impact. She truly knows what she is doing! On my wedding day, the compliments we received on the florals were overwhelming. Everyone was blown away by the simple, elegant, fresh displays & perfectly complementing blooms that brought out the natural beauty of the barn. She was integral to the success of my wedding day & I can't recommend her enough!

Brenda from Bouquets & Beyond is fantastic. She went above any beyond from the time we has our first consultation to the wedding day to ensure that our wedding was perfect. The flower arrangements were commented on by every guest, the centerpieces were elegant and tasteful, and she even built and decorated our chuppah. My wife and I would recommend Brenda as a florist for any occasion; we are so happy we went with her on our wedding day.

I just had my wedding 2 weeks ago. Brenda is truly the most amazing and talented florist I have ever met. She gives 250% to everything she does. I get all of my floral arrangements from her for every occasion so I couldn’t wait for her to design the flowers for my wedding. She put her heart and soul into my wedding flowers and they where done with the utmost care and absolute perfection it was just flawless, it truly was a magical wonderland when she was finished. She takes such pride in everything she does and I would recommend anyone to go see her . I love Brenda she is a true artist.
