She works with couples to help them create a bountiful selection of floral arrangements for their special day. Kristi found her passion for floral design at an early age, beginning her career as a floral assistant. She pursued this path which led to the establishment of BowKay Designs. Kristi’s progression in her business has allowed her to create floral designs for events of all kinds. She understands that no two weddings are the same and actively helps you to express your creative vision for your big day. BowKay Designs offers a number of different services for your big day. I think we got a lot of bang for our buck and all the arrangements were so luscious and rich. We couldn't have been happier! otos alone, I thought they would be a good match for my wedding. Then I scheduled a Consultation with Kristi and KNEW they were our florist. Kristi was energetic, knowledgeable and passionate about our wedding. As soon I gave her the theme and details for our wedding, she came up with so many ideas of how to incorporate my colors (Dark Purple, Gols & Bronze), my love for all things Fall (our Flower girls tossed actual leaves), and our Wine Harvest Theme (she incorporated a wine cork in the Groom’s Boutonniere). Our Venue allowed us to bring in outside décor, but would not actually set up the centerpieces. For an additional fee, Kristi and her team decorated the Ballroom where our reception was being held. My Mother later told me that Guests were stopping her to comment on the centerpieces and overall décor of Ballroom. They did an AMAZING job, but more importantly they put me at total ease! I knew my flowers would look stunning and my venue would look perfect, because BowKay Designs were in charge.

She did a great job with greenery with pops of color, just like I asked for. My wedding was on a Sunday which this shop is closed on Sundays so I was told I would be able to pick them up Saturday and they would be fine. Sunday morning I woke up to start getting ready and I noticed how terrible the bouquet looked. It was lop sided the roses turned brown, there was a few weird green buds sticking out randomly, and all my bouquet really was was chrysanthemums with a heavy green tint in the center which really made the bouquet look cheap. Since it was Sunday obviously I couldn't reach them. I ended up spending 3 hours that day looking at grocery stores all over the meteoplex for enough decent flowers to try and make my own bouquet. It was an absolute nightmare and not worth the price tag. Please consider looking elsewhere

a premium flower. It sounds like they were not handled with care and definitely should not have gone bad that fast. Had you communicated with us with any point that you were not happy with them when or after you picked them up, I would have gone out of my way to replace them all before your event.

said that she would have the quote to me within a couple of days and I never received anything from them. I have visited several other florists in the area and they have all got back to me within a couple of days, one even the same day! And I know she was very busy. I've even reached out to Bowkay designs and they never responded. I'm not sure what happened but I wouldn't want anyone with customer service like that to do my wedding, especially when there are soooooo many other options out there and florists who are eager to help you and get back to you. I'd personally look elsewhere.

Kathy at Kathy’s Design and Floral knew what I meant immediately and understood the vision we had for my daughter’s bouquet. She was able to help us by guiding us with ideas and pictures of different bouquets for the bridesmaids. She took the vision my daughter and I had and made an exquisite romantic bouquet for her. And the bridesmaid’s bouquets were elegant yet fun. The boutonnieres, grandmother’s corsages, and mother’s wristlets were all perfect too.
We had decided previously to keep costs down by having family members do our reception and ceremony arrangements, but Kathy went above and beyond by seeing our vision for the reception and helped design the centerpieces and figured out the amount of each type of flower needed to create the beautiful centerpieces. She also ordered hydrangeas and orchids in bulk for us and when the hydrangeas came in smaller than expected, she ordered extra for us at no additional charge.
Kathy and her staff were such a delight to work with and so creative. I would highly recommend Kathy’s Design and Floral. You will be glad you did.
