I could honestly write a 5 page essay about all of the wonderful things about Mary and this venue, but I'll try to keep it short and concise. Mary is an absolute dream to work with...
, very kindhearted and truly wants you to have the most magical day. She has tons of decorations and items to use that we barely had to purchase anything for our table settings. The venue is stunning and spacious with options for inside and/or outside. Bathrooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Mary also did my flower arrangements, was able to stay within my budget but still make everything look gorgeous. If you are looking for a venue, please go out and tour Bowood Barn (no pictures do it justice) and you'll understand why I recommend it. It is breathtaking and very reasonably priced. Mary is a gem and meshed so well with us and our family, and worked so hard to make sure we were happy with our experience. Can't recommend it enough!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue and it's owner, Mary. We had our daughter's wedding here on October 14, 2023, as well as a welcome gathering the night before. Mary...
gives you the option of booking for the entire weekend.
Mary 's creativity and attention to detail give this venue a magical feel that transports you to a romantic fairy tale. Mary also created the flower arrangements which were stunning!! Mary was truly a joy to work with and so accommodating...nothing was too difficult for Mary to manage. I highly recommend considering this venue for your wedding or special event...you will not be disappointed!

hanges and she was SO accommodating every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better venue. Bowood is so stunning on its own and Mary is open to all idea for decorations. She even offered to make some custom decorations for us. The venue comes with tables, chairs (reception and ceremony), as well as a built in bar with running water, and SO MANY DECORATIONS that she has been gifted from past weddings. She has everything including lanterns, mason jars, yard games, faux flowers, slabs of wood for centerpieces, signs, metal tubs, a claw foot bathtub and SO MUCH MORE. There is now a beautiful donut wall which goes along with her dark wood farmhouse table. Mary made sure the venue was clean and all the tables and chairs were lined up exactly where I wanted them when I came to decorate the day before my wedding: ** BONUS** you get the venue for the whole weekend which makes decorating and setting up/cleaning up so easy. She even helped put up decoration where I wanted them and drapery along the rafters. She was a delight to work with and had so many fun ideas. She was available throughout the entire planning process and the day of. She made sure they bathrooms were cleaned and the grounds surrounding Bowood perfect. I could not have asked for a better, more accommodating venue. Please book this venue, you will not be disappointed.
My husband and I had our wedding at Bowood Barn on May 26 and we hit the jackpot with Mary and Mica. They are hands down the most accommodating people we've ever met. They were alw...
ays there through the planning process, setting up, the ceremony, reception, and the clean up. Our guests noticed how they went above and beyond to accommodate every single need. When I say every single need, I am not exaggerating. They took care of us, and the guests, beyond expectation. Your guests will rave about the property, and you'll gush over it. The barn is beautiful, and speaks for itself, but Mary and Mica are the true reason why you should book your wedding at Bowood.
