We worked with Bozena for our July 2024 wedding. We also did an engagement session in August of 2023. Working with Bozena has been a wonderful experience. She is informative, detail oriented and supportive through the entire process. She has ALOT of knowledge and is willing to give suggestions when you feel stuck. Coming up to the day of our wedding she was always checking in on us she was flexible with the timeline and really let us take the time to enjoy our day. She was sooo excited for my husband and I to get married and we knew that came from the heart. We would hire her over and over again. Not to mention she works quick!!!! We got our photos back in less than a week and they are beautiful.

Bozena Voytko is absolutely incredible! Our engagement session was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more. She made us feel so comfortable and natural, and it felt like we were just hanging out rather than being “posed.” Her creativity is unreal—every shot felt so unique and us. Cannot express how much I love my photos from Bozena! We have had 3 sessions with Bozena and have loved each experience! Bozena took our wedding photos back in 2022, our newborn photos after our son was born and an extended family photo session. What I love most about Bozena is her attention to detail. She notices the small things: a phone in a pocket, a ruffled collar, a strand of hair that’s misplaced and so much more! This attention to detail helps make her photos beautiful and a lasting memory! We did our wedding photography with Bozena a while ago and now that the wedding craziness has settled, I felt the need to leave this review. Bozena is absolutely the best. Her photography skills are amazing and our family and wedding party still to this day raves about how beautiful the photos turned out and how amazing Bozena was. She is not only a skilled photographer with a beautiful aesthetic that I was looking for, but she is also very passionate about her work and prioritizes her relationship with her clients to make sure she captures their story. The engagement shoot with her was also great since she had a lot of creative ideas for photos. She is very involved/helpful with the entire wedding planning process too when it comes to coming up with the timeline and vendor recommendations. On the day of the wedding, it was great to have her as the photographer as she has a very calm, kind and professional demeanor that gave all of us a peace of mind. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer, whether it is for a wedding or family photoshoot etc.

Bozena (and Petra) were amazing to have on our wedding day! We ended up choosing the photo package that included the 10hrs of photography. The complimentary engagement shoot included in the photo package was great to get all the initial nerves out, making my fiancé and I more calm/confident that the wedding day would go smoothly. Bozena was very accessible via phone call for any questions, was always very punctual and dependable, and we received many compliments from our guests about how nice Bozena was (and how NICE the photos turned out). She also has many of her own documents that she shared with us which were amazing to have (engagement photoshoot details, family portrait, details checklist, etc). My fiancé and I don't have much experience with taking nice photos, and Bozena supported us through it ALL (even with the smallest of details like hand placement, eye contact, etc). She also was very quick to turn around the photos, we received our entire engagement and wedding album within a week! The blog she wrote about our wedding day was also so thoughtful. No negative things to say, we were SO happy with our wedding day experience and the photos, thank you Bozena!

Bozena was fantastic for our engagement and wedding photos. From the start, we really appreciative how communicative she was and extremely thoughtful. It is evident how much time she puts in to research locations, lighting, etc in advance of shooting her sessions. She is so bubbly and kind and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. On the wedding day she showed up early and immediately got to work without missing a beat. We also had a separate videographer and she was able to work seamlessly with him despite not having previously worked with him. She took on the role of organizing friends and family to make sure we got all the photos we wanted and captured the most important items. Leading up to the big day, we had multiple calls with her to outline what the day would look like, which helped us with other planning items as well. Her photos speak for themselves, but we were really blown away with our final portfolio. Lastly, she was able to deliver our entire wedding album within a week of our wedding. It was such a great surprise and my husband and I really enjoyed getting to look through them while on our honeymoon. We would absolutely recommend Bozena!

Bozena was a GEM to work with! She was professional, so well prepared, full of knowledge, tips and tricks and we were so grateful for her. Not only are her pictures STUNNING, but she is what made the experience amazing. She is a hustler and will do whatever to get the perfect shot, patient and understanding and just a shoulder to lean on when things are going wrong at your wedding. The day before the wedding she even calls if oyu need anything and if she can help?! She is truly amazing! Her pictures are timeless and breathtaking! Bozena is the best. She was our photographer for our proposal, engagement session, and wedding. She has such a way of making you feel special and comfortable while taking pictures as well as through the whole planning process. She also makes it a ton of fun. From surprising the bride at the proposal to a neighborhood engagement session highlighting our home and local buildings to a classic Chicago wedding, we knew we made the right choice from the very beginning. She captured us in her pictures so well, bringing out our best smiles. She truly captured “us”. They way she uses light makes the photos so bright, which is a main thing we looked for in a photographer. In terms of planning, Bozena is so organized. This was very helpful since we planned the whole wedding ourselves. With Bozena, no need to even have a day of coordinator! Before the wedding, she even met us at the hotel to scope out areas for getting ready pictures and the first look. After all of these sessions together, Bozena truly feels like a friend. Bozena is the absolute BEST! We had the pleasure of working with her longer than anticipated, and during one of the most stressful events of our lives. We realized early on how important photography is, as this is one of the only memories you get from your wedding day. We searched “light and airy photography” and came across Bozena’s website. After meeting her, we instantly knew we’d be in good hands. Unfortunately, our April 2020 wedding had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Bozena was hands down the most accommodating and kind vendor we worked with to reschedule our wedding plans. We decided on a microwedding NYE 2020, and vow renewal NYE 2021, both of which Bozena helped to capture. Though my husband and I have been together almost 14 years, we are probably the least photogenic couple you will ever meet. Thankfully, Bozena is assertive (in the best way possible) in terms of telling you how to pose for the most beautiful pictures. We are so grateful for Bozena to capture our engagement session and two of the most important days of our lives. Throughout the whole process, we always felt that she made us her priority. It’s one thing to have beautiful pictures, but to also have an amazing human to work with, puts her over the top. I can’t say enough good things about Bozena, you will never regret hiring her!

Bozena was absolutely incredible to work with. I had a very last minute need for a photographer for my bridal shower, and Bozena was able to accommodate my date, budget and showed up very excited to shoot 40+ women :). Bozena made everyone feel very comfortable, showed us how to pose, and had so many great ideas for photos to last a lifetime. I will also say, she was able to provide us with our photos quickly, which was important to us as well.

Bozena was one of my favorite vendors on my wedding day. Pictures were the most important thing to me and my husband, and we couldnt have been more pleased with Bozena. Her attention to detail was amazing. She helped us pose and made us feel comfortable. She got shots of us we didn't even know we wanted! She is also very funny. Bozena was amazing to work with! She’s incredibly kind, friendly and talented. She listened carefully to what I was looking for during our consultation, came on time to our photo session and took professional images of exactly what I needed. Her turnaround time of the edited images was fast too. I highly recommend working with Bozena, you won’t be disappointed!
Bozena photographed our intimate wedding in August 2020. Communication with her in advance was excellent - she's responsive and focused on getting the pictures you want. On the big day she was on time and started working immediately. She gave lots of guidance on how to arrange family members, how to position ourselves, etc. in order to get great shots. Her attention to detail is outstanding, and her passion for her art is on full display as she works. Our photos were available sooner than expected and we LOVE them. We have so many favorites that it's hard to decide which ones to frame. We would recommend Bozena for any occasion and especially for a wedding.

Bozena is a fantastic wedding photographer! My husband and I live out of state, but it was very easy to contact her and work with her over the phone and email. She responds promptly always! She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs surrounding the wedding. It rained on our wedding day and we had a lot of family/friends to work with for pictures, but Bozena was flexible and creative and our pictures turned out beautifully :). Lastly, I must say how it is easy to see that she is a very hard worker! She was so diligent on our wedding day and she sent us our edited and finalized photos much faster than we expected!

Bozena was amazing. I am so happy that we found her. She is possibly the sweetest person in the world. We met for coffee to talk about our wedding and we really loved her right from the start. She is very responsive to emails, phone calls and text. She made us feel so at ease during the photo shoots. Her work is SO LOVELY, she has a wonderful eye for natural light and those perfect moments. There was not one photo that she took that i did not love. Having been a wedding photographer I know how tough it is to make people look natural and Bozena does it with natural ease. She even made my wonderfully awkward engineer husband look like a natural model! I can not say enough wonderful things about her, she is a gem and such a great photographer.

The photos are crisp, and beautiful. She has the ability to capture emotions and moments, the pictures aren't stiff and posed but real and natural. She's also really easy to work with and made the experience fun.

When we began to plan our wedding, my (now) husband and I knew that we wanted a great photographer. I told him from the beginning that I had seen Bozena’s work and it was wonderful. We did some looking around, keeping our options open, but over and over, we went back to Bozena. The decision wasn't difficult and we made the appointment to make it official. For our big day, Bozena was there to capture every important moment. From the smallest details, to the funny times, even the personal and intimate moments. They made it all so easy for us! Martin and I are not the types to be the center of attention and for some people, photos can feel a little awkward, but they made us so comfortable and they made it fun!! Our photos came in few weeks after the wedding and we are more than pleased and amazed by her work! Our wedding day seemed to be over in a flash, but these photos will last us a lifetime and we will always treasure them. Thank you SO very much!!!!!!!
