onal factor that really came into play was ensuring that our catering was able to be made Halal, which you can think of as meal preparation similar in rigidity to Kosher preparation, but according to Islamic guidelines. I made a call to Brackett’s Crossing, and was greeted by Elizabeth (Liz) Revak and Kendra Simonis. They had informed me that Brackett’s can accommodate 300-400 guests for an event and that they accommodate a Halal menu, provided that it is still through Brackett’s Menu and their kitchen. Historically places that I’ve toured that did that, and weddings I attended where South Asian food is not on the normal menu usually does not hit expectations. Kendra and Liz had told me that if I was available, that they had an open house in the winter and that their full menu would be on display, alongside some of their preferred vendors- and that attending would give us a fuller picture of what the food would look and taste like. My family and I went, and were WOW’ed by their presentation, hospitality, organization, and of course, how delicious their food was! Speaking to Liz and Kendra and having tried the menu and knowing that it could be made Halal, we were super intrigued but not yet settled on having them do our event. What followed was me barraging the two of them with phone calls and emails, and them meeting every one of my questions with thoughtful, kind, respectful answers that showed a serious dedication to their craft, and conveyed the passion with which they do their jobs- and frankly, go above and beyond. They started by giving me several pamphlets worth of information on anything I’d ever want to know about hosting an event there, and when I started asking about requests like modifying the space/event to accommodate our cultural and religious values they were so beyond helpful, insofar as knowing the direction of Islamic prayer relative to their venue, knowing key customs in Muslim and South Asian tradition, being able to turn over spaces in the building for prayer time, accommodating our diets, and even being able to accommodate in case we needed a horse! The space itself is lovely, the ballroom is incredibly grand and very well lit from their wall to wall windows, and the outdoor gardens and photo areas are phenomenal. As a bonus, the patio space outside was perfect for cocktail hour and for guests to hang out at night. The organization of the event went really smooth, as they work very closely with all of your vendors and have spreadsheets/meetings to help you (should you choose to utilize them) and will make sure to provide you the exact appropriate amount of organization you want so as to not over or underwhelm you. When it came time for the day of, Kendra and Liz went above and beyond, and were personally on site to oversee the success of the event. The staff, both in the kitchen and the servers tending to the guests were all pros, and kept the event running efficiently- turning over the photobooth, dessert tables and dinner and making sure that my wife and I were not bothered at the sweetheart table (and had a plate of food!) If you've made it this far... let me clear up any ambiguity- GO WITH BRACKETT'S.

ey quickly responded to any emails and questions that my husband and I had throughout the planning process. The garden is an absolutely gorgeous ceremony site and the ballroom is large and spacious, with a beautiful view of the golf course. Although you have to pay extra to upgrade the bridal suite, it was definitely worth it to have all of the lighting, chairs and food that we needed throughout the day. The boys enjoyed the golf simulator in the morning and thought it was a great addition to the day. We also rented a photo booth through Brackett’s, which was affordable and a huge hit for our guests. Kendra was an amazing day of coordinator, making sure everything went flawless, and that everyone was taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. We are very blessed to have found Brackett’s to have hosted our wedding day.

The food was WONDERFUL. From our appetizers to the main dishes, we had a large number of guests compliment our food on wedding day. Some said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! We were so pleased with the entire dining experience. If I had to criticize anything about this venue, it would be the cost, but we were aware of that going in and were prepared for it. Throughout the entire planning process, Liz and Kendra were very clear about pricing and logistics so that nothing was a surprise on wedding day. Overall, Brackett's is a beautiful venue with plenty of photo-op locations, great food, and excellent staff. We are very pleased with our experience!

We have received many comments from our guests about how good the food was, and the staff working our wedding were all so nice! We really enjoyed all of the add-ons they had to offer including use of their golf simulator and the ability to rent decor. We had the absolute best day and are confident any other couple who chooses Brackett’s for their wedding venue will be able to say the same!

We worked with Kendra along the way to plan our special day. She was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She was a huge part of making our day so amazing. She directed us through our rehearsal and helped execute our day-of timeline. She helped ease any stress I had the day of. This was the perfect place to have our wedding!

As a Type A bride who planned a good chunk of our wedding myself, the venue coordinators Kendra & Elizabeth were so unbelievably helpful and answered all of my many many many questions. They were both so kind, very organized, extremely professional and amazing at what they do and we are beyond grateful for them. The evening before, we had our rehearsal and groom’s dinner at Brackett’s and everything was great. It was so helpful to be on site for the rehearsal and so special to have a more intimate group with just our wedding party (& significant others), parents & grandparents as we were all excited for the big day. On our wedding day, we got married out at the garden ceremony site and it was absolutely GORGEOUS. We got compliments all night on how perfect it was and what a pretty venue Brackett’s is. After the ceremony, everything was just as perfect from cocktail hour to dinner and then a late night of dancing with a live band. With 280 guests, we had a few wild attendees, and Brackett’s security was patient and professional and kept everybody safe. They blended in great with our guests and were discreet when keeping our friends and family in line. Another shout out is to Monica who was with us for our groom’s dinner and then took care of us all morning when we got ready. She is the sweetest person and was just as happy and excited for us as our friends and family, she is the best! Thank you so much Brackett’s for everything you did to make our day absolutely perfect!!!!! 1000% recommend to all couples looking for a venue that will not disappoint.

Every staff member that helped us along the way & on our wedding day treated us with so much kindness & really pulled out all of the stops to make both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day events go as smoothly as possible. Kendra (our main point of contact) was very on top of everything and was a joy to work with. She responds to all emails in a timely manner and was just so helpful to have as a resource while planning a wedding. We utilized the Pearl Room for our rehearsal dinner, Emerald Ballroom for our ceremony, and Diamond Ballroom for our reception. Each of these spaces were absolutely GORGEOUS and provided the perfect setting for each of our events that weekend. The grounds of the property are so beautiful and well manicured with amazing landscaping. Our photographer had no problem finding amazing spots for us to take photos! Our guests cannot stop raving about how amazing & perfect everything was. Neither can we! Thank you Brackett's!! :)

Our guests raved about the food (our favorites were the potsticker appetizer, the braised short rib entrée and we opted for the tator tots as our late night snack and they were phenomenal!). The location, spaces and setting are all lovely. There are lots of photo spots outdoors. We loved how our day turned out and would highly recommend Brackett's Crossing!
