Engagement photos: We wanted our photos at the ice castles in Dillon, Colorado. Brad recommended starting at a nearby frozen lake to give some variety. Between the beautiful lake, an impromptu sledding show that was Brad's idea (one of my favorites), and, of course, the ice castles!! Wedding photos: Multiple viewpoints of all of the go-to shots, but what really impressed us was all of the candid shots of guests. Looking at these photos really brings you back to the moment! We received more than 1,000 wedding photos back (we had the gold package)! All of the details were captured elegantly too - some of the COOLEST and most creative ring photos I've seen too. We had smoke bombs for the kiss at the end of the ceremony, and the way he shot it made it look simply magical. He recommended we save our last smoke bomb for a nighttime starlight shoot, which was breathtaking. A special note here is that Brad came up to me after the bouquet toss to let me know he didn't get a good shot. I really didn't care - I kind of rushed it impromptu and the video guys got it. But what integrity and pride in his job to let me know right away, rather than wait for photos to find out! Five stars!! Especially on our wedding day, this was a HUGE deal. You want to enjoy your day, but you also want some great photos as a couple too. Brad was amazing at staying in communication and letting us know when the lighting was best to sneak away for a bit - EXPERIENCED - his vast experience with photography and weddings specifically was helpful beyond just photography. He knows how things typically go, and is a very calming presence where you feel like you can relax and he'll make sure everything is captured - PASSIONATE - probably the best word for Brad. He loves what he does, and it shows. He's also an extremely technical photographer. My husband really wanted some starlight photos, a very technical thing, and Brad experimented with us on the hill to clear night skies to create the most EPIC nighttime photos - CONNECTED - Brad's assistant photographer, Scott Lee, was incredible at the wedding. We could believe to have such a talented photographer as our second shooter! - VALUE - I hate to say "he should really raise his prices" because otherwise we may not have been able to afford him, but I'm still in awe over everything. I've seen people charge twice as much for half (generously) the value. IT'S AN EASY DECISION TO TRUST BRAD PARRISH PHOTOGRAPHY WITH YOUR WEDDING AND ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS, trust me :)
